THE GEORGE BERNARD SHAW ROOM This is our only first-floor guest room. The decorative queen-size four-poster canopy bed is the focal point of the room. Oriental rugs decorate the floors in both the guest room and bath.THE THORNTON WILDER ROOM Decorated in lighter shades of jewel tones, this cozy room offers a queen-size century-old brass bed, a fireplace, and a dormer window seat.

THE TENNESSEE WILLIAMS ROOM Decorated in deep jewel tones, floral accents, and a century-old armoire, this mini-suite has been hand-painted with a scumbling technique to reflect the warm hues of the decorator fabrics.Large outdoor room complete with wicker and paddle fans, overlooking a Koi Pond and tranquil waterfall which is sheltered from the noise of street traffic and hot sun
Though most of the furnishings are English or American antiques, there is a compelling mix of periods.Our Inn is an early 20th century English Country style home located in Abingdon, VA's historic district. Centrally air-conditioned with individually zoned guest rooms, this finely preserved home has been totally updated and renovated both inside and out.
