Experience how the locals live in this quiet getaway situated in a middle class residential area and yet be just twenty minutes from the new International Airport, twenty minutes from the Makati Commercial Center and even closer to Fort Bonifacio, City of Taguig in Metro Manila. Formerly a residence , Casa Joaquin has been refurbished into a Bed and Breakfast facility providing homey but spacious , comfortable and clean accommodations in a suburban setting midway between the bustling Makati Commercial Center and the growing Sucat and Alabang Commercial Centers. Each of the five roomy bedrooms has its own private toilet and bath and can accommodate from 2 to 5 adults.

We stayed at Casa Joaquin B&B for 6 nights, we enjoyed our stay enormously, the friendliness of the staff made our stay, it was a home from home. We would certainly stay there again and would strongly recommend the Casa Joaquin B&B

We started our trip with 3 days at Casa Joaquin and ended it with another 4 days. The facility is near the airport and the staff is accommodating as well as friendly. They were able to provide a home environment and the breakfast was wonderful. Our manager Phem was a fantastic cook and Tessie and Jay R took care of our every need, it was a blessed experience. I have stayed at Casa Joaquin twice. Once for three weeks while I had surgery in Manila. It is a very nice house with a pretty and quiet patio area surrounded by a pleasant garden and yard. The rooms are nice and the AC works. It is not near the downtown area, but it is easy to get downtown. I am good at using the local transportation, but that is not necessary since you can easily use taxis which are cheap compared to the US. The first time I went to Manila I stayed at Casa Joaquin for a couple of days then moved to a downtown hotel. After trying a couple of those hotels I quickly decided to come back to Casa Joaquin. The cleaner and more pleasant surroundings made the commute to the city preferable for me. So, I can comfortably recommend this place to anyone staying in Manila. I had the occasion to meet Dony, an owner, and he was a gentleman and all around great guy.

A famously refreshing mix of red mung beans, coconut strings, sweet sugar palm (kaong)and nata de coco then covered by crushed ice and flavored with evaporated milk. Ingredients vary. Highly recommended to order with toppings of leche flan, jack fruit and/or ice cream. About Pesos 50-100.
