The room appeared clean. I noticed that cleaning under the bed was not done. In the room you could see where the ceiling had leaked. They need to take care of this as it appeared there may have been some mold. As for the bed, it was short but slept okay. Overall the rest of the room was fine, old as it should appear, the bathroom was old but clean. The room was very large. The rest of the house was in good condition and well taken care of. The hostess was very nice. The breakfast was great, one of the best we have ever had - she was friendly, open and talked/listened to all. There were other guests and we had a good time. We asked for a tour of the restaurant and that went very well. I think some attention should be given to the bedrooms for any leaks, the outside could use some minor clean up. Overall, I would stay again, very peaceful, you have full run of the house in the common rooms.

Upon Arrival it was clear that the Peter Herdic house was exceptional. The victorian decor, the friendly owners, and the price all made my weekend perfect. The full breakfast that was provided to us on Saturday and Sunday was far better than any breakfast at a chain hotel such as Holiday Inn. The atmosphere surrounding the inn as well was great, Sunday's breakfast gave us a chance to get to know another one of the guests. I will definately stay here again, and i recommend it.
