Scarsdale Cottage Inn
The Scarsdale cottage inn is a beautiful restored Victorian home from the 1900¿s located in West Newton, PA. Each room is lavishly decorated with antique and reproduction furniture in a style that is true to the era of the home. Highlights of the home include a hand carved staircase, original stained glass and a working Victrola talking machine. The home is situated on a large lot with an above ground swimming pool and spacious barn that is great for storing bike, skis, canoes or other large valuables used to enjoy the near-by Yough River Trail (part of the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail) and the Youghiogheny River. The centralized location allows for easy access to Frank-Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Hidden Valley Resort, Ohiopyle State Park, the Laurel Caverns, the Laurel Highlands, and dozens of golf courses (too many to name) while still being close enough to Pittsburgh for business. Bikes and canoes can be renter in the town shops located with-in walking distance. While you are there, you can check out the local antique and collectibles shops!
