5 out of 5Wonderful for a Stay or an Event!
September 19, 2012
My husband and I were married at the Faunbrook in October, 2008 and it was just the most perfect, personal, warm atmosphere to celebrate with our friends and family. We originally had booked with the previous innkeeper whom was just a wonderful woman and a big part of our reason for booking, shortly after the inn changed management and we were very pleasantly reassured by the current innkeepers Lori and Steve who helped make our day special and unique. We then again stayed on our wedding anniversary in 2011 which was a surprise by my husband, whom did not remember the name of the room we had stayed in. There must have been some confusion because all rooms were previously booked under our names so Lori did the best she could from memory. When we arrived my husband was devastated that it was not the same room and although I was still so happy just to be back there, he wanted to make this special as we were expecting our first baby at the time. He mentioned it to Lori to see if we could switch the rooms, and unfortunately it had been booked for sometime. This did not at all ruin the wonderful memories we were able to share and Lori was such a wonderful hostess she comped the room entirely for the misunderstanding! The rooms and detail of this location are absolutely beautiful, it is extremely clean and breakfast is always wonderful. We had an amazing breakfast the day after our wedding with our entire family and it was just as memorable during our revisit. Thanks again Lori and Steve for being such gracious hosts! 4.6 out of 5Most Enjoyable Place to Spend Christmas
December 27, 2011
Not wanting to spend Christmas in a hotel room, my husband, daughter and I decided to book rooms at Faunbrook. Best decision we ever made! Faunbrook was gloriously decorated inside and out and was a wonderful place to bring family & friends to spend time in the many living spaces on the first floor. Very warm and welcoming! The rooms were comfortable and spacious, all with full private bathrooms. Steve & Lori were wonderful hosts. We liked the fact that the breakfasts were made with farm-fresh eggs and meats. The cinnamon bread was to die for and we highly recommend Lori's pastries....AWESOME! Anytime we come back to the West Chester, PA area, we will be making reservations at Faunbrook. For the value and the comfort (and the best Bananas Foster French Toast that I have ever had), we highly recommend it.
5 out of 5Anniverary and Parents weekend at West Chester University

We stayed at Faunbrook B&B this weekend. The B&B is full of history. It is a beautiful property. Lori and Steve were great hosts. Lori is also a great cook. The breakfast both days was awsome! I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a nice place to get away.
5 out of 5Best Wedding Lodging, Ceremony space, and Reception venue ever!
August 18, 2011
We were married at Faunbrook B&B last Saturday, 8/13/11 amid our dearest friends and family. Lori and Steve were so easy to work with, and very flexible for meetings and walkthroughs with our photographer, caterer, and my future in-laws. We had guests staying there Wed~Sunday nights, and had rented the whole B&B for Friday and Saturday nights, for the ceremony and catered reception to be held there. I really don't know where to begin in complimenting/reviewing them, and if you would like to speak to us directly, ask Lori or Steve for our phone number. Whilst the B&B has lovely period furnishings, we did do some decorating and they were very easy to work with in our ideas. The photos from our stay and the ceremony/reception showcased the lovely environment very nicely. Lori is an amazing chef -- the lemon scones are really to die for! And both Lori and Steve are very friendly, hospitable, professional, and checked in just enough with us to know that they were there if we needed them, and they were not at all intrusive in any way, at any time. We live literally 5 blocks away from Faunbrook and we will be singing its high praises to all our friends and family. Two of our wedding party have already booked their own weekend getaway having enjoyed the experience so much! I am hoping to snag a couple of rooms last minute for a mini-Junior High reunion over Labor Day weekend since our wedding was so micro -- 14 people total including the officiant, photographer, and flutist -- I couldn't invite two of my best friends. Lori and Steve also worked well with our caterer (Olive Branch of West Chester), Bob Wood Photography, and Officiant, Taya Shepard of AlteredVows -- each and all of whom I also highly recommend. Thank you Lori and Steve for making our special day even more so! Everyone loved your space and you! Valerie & Kyle

5 out of 5Warm and wonderful experience
August 09, 2011
What a wonderful and welcoming stay. Owner Lori was accomodaring beyond compare. From not sweating it when I arrived three hours before check in to finding me an old towel I could take with me to an outdoor event where rain was expected, she was incredibly service oriented. The room was beautiful and the bathroom contained a HUGE bathtub that was impossible to resist. I'm only sorry I couldn't stay longer.
4.6 out of 5Pleasant Experience at Faunbrook!
May 09, 2011
I truley enjoyed my stay in the "Darlington" suite at Faunbrook B&B! Steve & Lori provided an excellent service from the delicious breakfast to great tid-bits about local "hot spots" to visit while in town.

Beautiful grounds and building and we were made to feel right at home. Sitting in front of a cozy fire in the sitting room was just the perfect way to spend a rainy evening, after a delicious dinner out.
