The Vicksburg Inn is an 1886 brick Victorian located in Vicksburg, PA, a village near Mifflinburg, PA surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and picture postcard farms, yet located only 5 miles from Bucknell University on Rte. 45. Enjoy the serenity of a bygone era in a comfortable home that features original woodwork, stained glass windows, and high ceilings. Rock away your cares on the front porch shaded by century-old chestnut trees, a great spot for enjoying your morning coffee or tea and for watching a passing horse and buggy.

4.6 out of 5What a pleasure for my family to stay at the Inn
May 23, 2012
My son graduated from Susquehanna University. We wanted to all stay together to celebrate this great occasion. It was a welcoming and wonderful atmosphere with Peggy and Tony. They were the best of host. There home was beautiful and elegant. It was such a treat to have a elegant breakfast and watch the horse and buggies go up the street. It was a total delight and only 15 minutes to the campus.

A last minute change in plans left us without accommodations, and we stumbled upon The Vicksburg Inn online. Peggy was so gracious and accepted our same-day reservation for a two night stay. It turned out to be a very relaxing, and engaging experience! Peggy and Tony were perfect hosts, and their varied education and life experiences made for interesting conversation. They provided information about local sites of interest to us, and made recommendations for dining. The lovely stained glass windows in every room brighten the rooms and one's spirits! We're definitely looking forward to returning to this fantastic B&B!

After combing the area looking for a quaint place to lay my head, I came upon the Vicksburg Inn. As a single female traveler, I was very pleased. My hosts, Peggy and Tony, offered hospitality and warmth. The room was immaculate, the breakfast charming and delicious. I will certainly return. I felt like a princess emerging from my room to the delightful smells of bacon and coffee. Peggy was gracious in asking my preferences the night before and I was pleasantly suprised. I will return when I need a weekend away to recharge my soul. Thank you

5 out of 5Our Second Visit
January 08, 2011
We had our second stay at the Vicksburg Inn during a road trip last fall. Peggy and Tony are charming and accommodating hosts, very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Peggy graciously offered to make last minute dinner reservations at a restaurant in town for us upon our arrival. The Inn is beautifully furnished with period pieces, and our room was very comfortable with nice bedding and fluffy towels in our private bath. Peggy serves a delicious breakfast and you can have your Sunday morning coffee on the front porch while you watch the Amish buggies pass by. We had some nice conversations with our fellow guests and our hosts, and enjoyed some music provided by Tony when we asked about his ukulele collection. The Inn is close to many antique shops -- we didn't have time to explore them all. It's a good place to stay if you're in the area.

4.8 out of 5Our 1st B & B
August 28, 2009
My wife & I planned for years to stay at a B&B. We participate in nostalgia drag racing events so we have the opportunity to utilize many types of lodging "on the road". I discovered The Vicksburg Inn online while searching for a B&B close to nearby Beaver Springs Dragway. I have to say that Peggy & Tony would set a fine standard as innkeepers. They are very personable and flexible hosts and the breakfast is absolutely 1st class. After the 1st stay we returned for a 2nd a month later. Lee & Theresa Mills, Newark Valley, NY
5 out of 5An Amazing Stay
August 20, 2009
The hosts were wonderful, friendly, easy to talk to. We enjoyed sitting on their front porch in the morning with them. They were very accommodating and helpful and knowledgeable with suggestions of things to do in the area. The rooms were great--very large and comfortable.
