We enjoyed our first experience at a bed and breakfast. The furnishings are charming and the breakfast was delicious. The only thing that we didn't like was that a sitting room was right outside of our room and other guests sat out there talking for quite awhile in the evening and early morning.

This B&B is charming. The innkeepers have done an excellent job restoring the old house and adding lovely accents both inside and out. The rooms are nice, and I was impressed by the thoughtful inclusion of a small communal fridge and basket of incidentals that guests could use if needed. Outside has lots of "conversational areas" with tables, swings, and a fire pit, all looking out on fields and cows.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice, the entire B&B is decorated very nicely and the breakfasts are amazingly tasty. Quiet countryside location in the Laurel Highlands make it a super location for day trips around the area. The binder with previous guests' dining recommendations is a nice touch. From a service perspective there were two issues, one which I consider somewhat major, the other relatively minor. I had made a reservation for the Quilt Room on July 31st for the weekend of October 3rd & 4th. When I tried to check in my room wasn't reserved, my reservation had been erroneously filed under October 10th and 11th. Luckily enough Nancy had a single room vacancy on the 3rd and was able to shift someone around so that we stayed in the same room through the 4th. The minor issue was with the breakfast slip that you fill out every night and deposit downstairs to indicate what time you'd like to eat breakfast the next day and your choice of beverage. The systems works, but only if the next day's slip is left in your room and ours wasn't there when we came back late on the evening of the 4th. No big deal and we simply found a blank piece of paper, put down our information and were good to go. Enjoyed the friendly chats during breakfast by Bill and the waitress who's name I didn't get.

There is not a corner of the property that is not meticulous. The homemade breakfasts are practically gourmet. The peacefulness can't be beat!

We chose this B&B for an annual reunion we have with college roommates and spouses who come from all parts of the U.S. and Canada. This is about the 15th year for this get together and we have stayed in some beautiful locations. The Inne at Watson's Choice worked exceptionally well for us because the gathering room at the Harvest House was like being in our own home, the grounds and screened-in porch provided beautiful spots for us to have visits, play games, and enjoy each other's company. Nancy and Bill were excellent hosts. Watson's Choice was a very good choice!.

My husband and I were in Uniontown for my high school reunion and I didn't want to stay at a hotel. I found Watson's Choice by chance and am happy to report that this B&B will be our place to stay on future visits to Uniontown. This inn has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you feel as soon a you step in the front door. Nancy and Bill are great hosts and Nancy's breakfasts are awesome.

This lovely inn offers numerous comfortable gathering areas both inside and out! We met three other couples and basically we never left the beautiful property! We relaxed on the patio, in the "summer house", and at the fire pit. If the weather had not been cooperative, we would have gathered in the cozy room on the lower level with a fireplace and dining table. It was the perfect setting for our husband's Navy Reunion and we highly recommend the Inne a Watson's Choice!

Our stay at Watson's Choice could not have been more perfect, even the drive getting there. The setting is beautiful as well as the inn. The Ross's attention to detail is reflected in everything, decor, landscaping, breakfast. We highly recommend including Watson's Choice in your next trip itenerary.

I've stayed here twice now and I am always sad to leave. We love to sit around the fire pit to roast marshmallows, sip some hot coffee or wine and just enjoy the beautiful grounds and relax! The hosts are so kind and helpful and Nancy's cooking is TOP SHELF! Loved the pancakes she makes!!! We will definitely be back!

I have stayed in many resorts and hotels across the country and Caribbean, this by far is the most clean detail oriented Inn I have ever seen. Extremely clean, attention to detail, excellent breakfast- quality and tasty food. The attention the staff gave to make sure you were satisfied with your stay was great! We met several people from all over the country ( return visitors) who were there for a WVU football game.. This says a a lot about a place, that people will return from all around the country. I can't wait to go back again!

Everything about our stay was beyond what we were expecting. My husband and I went away for our 19th anniversary and he wanted a cabin in the woods with a lot of privacy. Our schedules are crazy so we couldn't book anything early, and our options were limited. I found the Inner at Watson's Creek and he was hesitant, since it was a B&B. He was concerned about it not being "private." We couldn't have been more wrong! Our room was off of the common room but we heard nothing! Very quiet. The cleanliness carried throughout the property, both inside and out! Beautiful rooms! Well decorated! Everything was 5 stars. I gave food 4 stars but that probably isn't fair. My husband loved everything! I am more of a PB&J person so breakfast was a little "fancy" for me. Thank you to the innkeepers for a wonderful weekend!

Stayed in the Americana room and our friends in the four Seasons. Great gardens especially the sunflowers!. Loved sitting outside. Quiet and restful. Great set up at the back of inn which itself had so much history. . Lovely hosts. They put a lot of thought into the little extras like great homemade cookies. Loved Falling waters and Kentuck Knob. Highly recommend Watson's Choice.

Imagine that you live in a big, country farmhouse, filled with antiques, impeccably decorated and lovingly cared for. Then imagine waking to the aroma of fresh brewed coffee and European pastries prepared on the premises by the inn keepers, and enjoying that first cup of coffee from a rocking chair on the porch, looking out over rolling farmland and beautiful grounds. Not detail is overlooked -- from wine (and glasses), fresh-baked cookies and lemonade in the afternoon, and breakfast casseroles and pastries, fresh local fruits, and maple syrup to information about the recreational opportunities that abound in Laurel Highlands. That's the Inne at Watson's Choice. After three visits in different seasons, it gets better every time. It's a gem. Don't miss it! Beverly Sorrentino

The Inne was a great choice since we were going to Fallingwater. The blueberry pancakes were spectacular. The bed in the Ivy room is not comfortable, very creaky, especially for two people. Still, it's very clean and hospitable. Charming house and great location.
Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed your breakfast, the house and our location. We regret that the Ivy Room fell below your expectations. We will look into your concerns in the hope to make our guests enjoy a better experience. We look forward to your return visit to the Inne at Watson’s Choice.
3.2 on July 13, 2014
This Inne had beautiful scenery and was very clean! However, the people above us were extremely loud and since our room was towards the front of the house we had hardly any privacy because everyone would sit on the porch infront of our room. We also were not able to open any windows and there was no ceiling fan so it was hot and stuffy. Bill and Nancy are nice people and I wish them the best!
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your visit was not totally satisfactory. As an innkeeper, when we take guests to their rooms, we always tell them about the tent card with our private number on it. During the course of their stay, they can call us if they have a concern or if they need something. If we had known about the noise level during your stay, we would have gladly spoken to the guests upstairs or moved you to another room. In regard to the uncomfortable temperatures, we would have made every effort to adjust the temperature until you were satisfied. We look forward to your return visit to the Inne at Watson’s Choice.

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast that I would recommend to any of my friends. Their attention to detail was superb- snacks and lemonade in the afternoon, everything perfectly organized, local restaurant menus in the room, etc. All your needs are anticipated. The decor was sort of rustic without being corny. Breakfast was delicious. The outside area was gorgeous with an expansive view of the countryside. Truly a unique experience!
Thank you for your kind review. It was a pleasure to have you as our guest.

We found Watson's Choice to have a great ambience; very country feel. Finally found a B and B with lights bright enough to read by in bed. The bathroom had every convenience we could think of including a magnifying mirror.Very nicely decorated to feel warm and inviting. The breakfast area was very cute and the egg breakfast was superb. The grounds have many very nice places to sit and relax. The place is charming and we will definitely return when in the area.
Thank you for your kind review. It was a pleasure to have you as our guest.

The inn was somewhat different then expected when driving up to it. It's in a nice, quite older residential area outside of Uniontown; however, once inside the inn or sitting on the patio, you are in another world. The pictures do not lie. The grounds open up to rolling farm fields and not another person or house in sight. Very relaxing and peaceful with a glass of wine or homemade mint ice tea and cranberry cookies! The room and bath were both very spacious and nicely appointed (pictures are accurate). The breakfast was outstanding; simple but nicely presented and very enjoyable. You are also very close to local attractions such as the Franklin Lloyd Wright's FallingWater and Kentuck Knob homes as well as Laurel Cavern. All-in-all a very nice way to spend our 25th anniversary weekend. Our sincere thanks to the owners Nancy and Bill for opening their home to us and others to enjoy.

My husband and I were looking for a quaint Bed and Breakfast near Fallingwater to celebrate our anniversary. What a wonderful little gem we found with the Inne at Watson's Choice! It is so quiet and peaceful there on their 40+ acres of land, yet near enough to civilization that we couldn't have been more content! We stayed in the Four Seasons room which was equipped with a king-sized bed and jacuzzi tub for two. Our breakfast consisted of a stewed tomato quiche the next morning along with various pastries and a berry cobbler that was tremendous! Bill and Nancy are wonderful hosts that take great pride in their establishment. We would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone who is looking to enjoy the sights of Fallingwater, Ohiopyle, or hiking in the hills.

We stay in many Bed and Breakfasts. This one was our style...Colonial. The room was very nice and well maintained. They seem to have thought of all our needs, including a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The grounds are beautifully maintained with many areas to sit and relax. The breakfast egg cassarole was Fantastic! Served in a very nice ambience. If we happen to be in the Pittsburgh area again we will definitely stay here.

The only thing that disappointed me just a bit was the "fireplace" in our room. I chose the blue bird room on purpose because of the fireplace and it was just an electric one for "atmosphere". No big deal, but I wish I would have known. It was very nice though and food (breakfast) was great.
Thank you for your feedback. It was a pleasure to have you as our guest. We are sorry about the misunderstanding about the fireplace. Our website specifically states: An original fireplace with a radiant insert warms your heart. For the safety of our guests, we cannot have real fireplaces in our guest rooms. We hope that you understand, and look forward to your next visit at the Inne at Watson’s Choice.

An oasis nestled in the middle of peaceful pasture, Watson's Choice was a wonderful pick for us. We were pleasantly surprised by its charms, professionalism, and service. While the drive there had us wondering what we were headed to, the bend in the road opened up to this lush field and property straight out of a story book. Once we got to the front door, we walked into a dining room and parlor that just said "home." Nancy was very accommodating with my husband's doctor regulated diet and made sure he got a satisfying breakfast. We definitely give this place two thumbs up and have already recommended it to our friends. Falling Water is a nearby landmark that is eye candy for architecture and design enthusiasts as well as white river rafting, and biking and hiking.

Our stay at the Inne at Waton's Choice was wonderful! Nancy Ross was delightful, and took care of our special requests, such as hiding champagne flutes for my surprise proposal. The grounds were beautiful; it would be a lovely place to relax in the warmer weather. They have a common sitting room with an adjoining kitchenette for storing food and drinks. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, waffles, muffins, and an assortment of other treats. Our room had a book of local places to eat and sights to see with reviews from previous guests, which was very handy! Our room was clean, and it was clear that the owners took pride in the Inne, and were careful to consider the needs of their guests. The Inne at Watson's Choice was the perfect place to celebrate, and we plan to return soon!

My husband and I went to the Inne to stay for one night. On our arrival, the roads into "our" house and the main house were horrible. When we checked in we were afraid we may not get out and the hostess said" Oh, don't you have four wheel drive?" It did not state on the website that we needed such a vehicle to get on the property. All roads leading there were fine. Check in was very easy and we were made to feel welcome. The room was absolutely beautiful and decorated magnificently. Everything we needed was provided and even some extras! The pathways were atrocious (hostess said she had a bad back) and we thought they should be better maintained for guests. (We noticed their driveway across the street was plowed nicely.) The only other suggestion I would make is to have better toliet paper. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return, just maybe not in the winter time!
We appreciate your review and recommendation.

My husband and I wanted to get away before Valentine's stay so we booked a night at Watson's Choice. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable place to stay. The room was lovely and we particularly enjoyed the fireplace. The common room was stocked with games, snacks and a kitchenette so we spent a little while sipping hot tea and playing Scrabble. Breakfast was delicious and our hosts were warm and welcoming. We highly recommend Watson's Choice and plan to return for a longer visit.
We were very happy to have you as guests and appreciate the review. We hope you can return in warmer weather and enjoy the gardens.

Very nice facility. Room was dark, but pleasant and warm. Reading rooms and treats offered during the afternoon were very welcome, and the cookies were outstanding. The cleanliness of such a crowded and complicated layout must be enormous, and it was perfectly clean throughout. Breakfast was basic and lacked flavor, but was inventive. The hosts were nice enough, but lacked any genuine warmth - strange for a BnB. Their personalities and the facility itself are worlds apart. Perfect place to stay, if you don't want to connect with the hosts...

We stayed there just a few days before a snowy Thanksgiving, and we were welcomed warmly by Bill and Nancy. Bill gave us some good tips on where to go for dinner in Uniontown. Nancy prepared a delicious breakfast and took time to talk with us in the morning. They've carefully designed and maintained their inn. They have a lot to be proud of, and we have a lot to enjoy the next time we visit.

The inn had a welcoming and cozy air about it. We were met by the owner and staff immediately upon entering and received friendly service for the most part. Our room was beautiful and had rustic pieces of furniture plus all the accommodations we needed. Very cozy. Would recommend looking into the historic part and wandering the grounds. The breakfast is good, but make sure you circle the right food choices or else they wont give you them. Enjoy complimentary snacks and wine at night and fresh fruit and pastry in the morning in addition to breakfast.

We stayed here for three nights as a getaway and to visit two Frank Lloyd Wright homes that were nearby. I found this B&B on the internet and booked it based on reviews that I read. The first night we were there it snowed, and the Inne is on a beautiful property that was enhanced by the snowfall. The owners, Bill and Nancy, are great hosts, and the breakfasts are wonderful. Beyond the main entre, they have breakfast pastries available (apple cobbler one morning!). They also have little "treats" placed around the Inne that you can indulge in if wanted. The Inne itself is very beautiful and decorated with country items and antiques. Our room had a fireplace and king bed and was very cozy. We added a package they offer, where the tickets for the Frank Lloyd Wright tours were booked for us. I'm glad we did this, because they knew when to book the times so that we had plenty of time to make the first tour and also had time between the tours...very relaxing day. Overall, the Inne at Watson's Choice exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay there again. The setting, hospitality of the hosts, cleanliness and beauty of the rooms and inne, and the wonderful food, added to our trip being a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a B&B experience.

Inn at Watson's Choice is a very good place to base yourself when touring around this part of western Pennsylvania. The rooms are individually decorated, the breakfasts delicious, and the complementary fruit, baked goods, chocolate and pinot noir were much appreciated. The walls of my bedroom were a bit thin, but guests do observe the request for quiet during the night, so no problems. I certainly would consider coming again the next time I visit the area.

We would recommend it to anyone going their way and would happily return.

My expectations for B&B accommodations have been developed over 20 years of international travel. The accommodations and elements evaluated are truly great. For me to rate them "Outstanding" would put the "Inne at Watson's Choice" in the category of the Adlon in Berlin. For me, "Meets my Expectations" puts this Inne in the same category with the best we have stayed at in Napa California or at the very good "Plantation B&B" in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. At their rates, this is the high quality I would expect. A senior citizen St. Catharines Ontario Canada.

Very beautiful property that is well maintained and clean. The owners are great. Bill made us a bonfire at night and we took a bottle of wine and sat out for hours. A charming B&B in close proximity to Fallingwater, Kentucknob and Ohiopyle. I would recommend it to anyone and would be happy to return for a second visit

From the time we arrived, through two lovely evenings by the fire pit, the guests we met and visited with by the fire, the open view from the back of the property and two fine breakfasts, we enjoyed it all. we would heartily recommend it (and already have) to anyone! Watson' Choice is the perfect spot to get away from it all. My wife and I have stayed here twice for about a week for our anniversary. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We stayed in the Harvest House both times. The common areas are full of things to do and the use of a pantry is fantastic. The breakfasts are exceptional and the host and hostess are very nice and the service was top notch. They were very helpful in our planning our daily outings. The outdoor fire pit is a great place to hangout and talk to other travelers who are staying there. In all this is the best B&B we have stayed in.

Hot breakfast was prepared with great care. Delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful setting very much.

This is an excellent choice if you are in the area to visit Fallingwater and the hostess was very gracious and kind in dealing with a family emergency. I would recommend this property to anyone who likes B and Bs when on vacation.

It was more than we expected. Especially appreciated that it was an OLD home which has had some tender loving care.

We really enjoyed our getaway to the Inne at Watson's Choice. It was quiet and relaxing. You have a choice of places to sit outside. There are a couple of patios, to escape the bugs - you can sit inside a little screened house, and there's a patio overlooking the farm, which has a bonfire pit. Oh, and bench next to the pond with carp. The landscaping is gorgeous. They did a wonderful job designing the back. The breakfast was scrumptious. The owners are very nice and compassionate. They have repeat clients. It was the second visit fro my friends, and I spoke with a couple who said they've been going for 10 years. I highly recommend staying at this lovely BnB.

The Inne was midway along a long 11 hour drive, so I decided to break up the drive and enjoy an afternoon an evening. The Inne was the perfect place for that. Welcoming and comfortable, I enjoyed chatting with folks from as far away as Spain. And the breakfast was a great start for the next long drive.

We got the lead from the Fallingwater website. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Not only was the entire property clean, no immaculate, but more importantly, the innkeeper, Nancy Ross, was so gracious and welcoming. Everything about the physical layout of the inn was terrific--country setting, fields to walk in, cattle grazing, Canada geese settling in for the night, charming. The decorations of the inn itself are cute. The bed was really comfortable. It is so quiet at night. Breakfast was delicious--homemade blueberry pancakes and sausage and good coffee. Copious amounts of information on restaurants in Uniontown and surrounding area. Best of all, Nancy gave us lots of information about the area and a shortcut to FW. We definitely will plan a return visit.

We booked this as a stop over on our way to Mass. I wished we could have stayed longer and taken in more of the peacefulness. the only flaw was that when we checked in AT 7PM after a 10-hour drive, we were greeted with "you're late". that started the visit on the wrong foot. It was quickly righted and the rest of the stay was very enjoyable. everything I expect in a B&B.

The B&B facility was top-notch! There were many different places to gather and relax: small intimate groupings to wide open spaces and a fire pit! The charm of the two buildings was both inviting and relaxing. We had a large group and none of us ever was at a loss of where to go in the common areas.

We don't usually stay at B&Bs, but this one was so highly recommended that we decided to try it and had a very nice stay. The property is charming and breakfast was swell. They accommodated dietary needs with grace and skill, and we would happily recommend it.

Love staying here. The owners are just like family.
5 on September 03, 2013
Great inside and out (the grounds). Amenities very nice again, both inside and out. Very reasonable rates -- competitive with say Hampton Inn so why stay at a Hampton Inn when one could live in luxury at Watson's Choice for comparable price.

My friend and I stayed here after our tour of Falling Water. Very clean and comfortable with a super tasty breakfast. The waffles with strawberries and thinly sliced bacon was just the ticket on a muggy and rainy Pennsylvania morning. The owner was very helpful with directions and restaurants in the area. It was an enjoyable and peaceful stay. The guest pantry was great for making an early cup of coffee.
5 on August 31, 2013
We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Inne at Watson's Choice. The owners have lovingly restored a family country home and are gracious hosts. Both the common areas and guest rooms are charming, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. At the end of the day the large patio area and beautifully landscaped grounds provide a serene place to relax. The delicious breakfast, served in a pretty dining room, includes outstanding home made dishes and pastries, fresh fruit, and good coffee. This is a B&B where we wanted to linger.
5 on August 26, 2013
We stayed for two nights. The inn was conveniently located for visiting Ohiopyle State Park,Kentuck Knob, Fort Necessity, Jumonville Glen, and Fort Necessity. The inn was clean and comfortable, Nancy and Bill were friendly and helpful, and the grounds were beautiful. We would certainly come back.

Best B & B we have ever stayed in. Beautiful facility and grounds. Liked the personal attention. Good value. Certainly would stay there again.
3.2 on August 24, 2013
The property is beautifully located and offers so many inviting spaces (both inside and out) to make your time at Watson's Choice as relaxing and secluded or as social as you'd like it to be. We stayed in the Laurel Suite and were impressed with its size. The kind-sized bed is among the most comfortable I've ever slept on, and the bathtub accommodates two adults very nicely. Breakfast was filling, provided a good variety, and was quite delicious. We've stayed at numerous B&Bs and would rate the accommodations and breakfast here among the best. However, we found the hosts (I can only assume they were Nancy and Bill, but they never introduced themselves to us) to be the least friendly and welcoming of any we've ever encountered. Even from the email exchanges and telephone interactions we had before our arrival, it felt more like calling a mediocre hotel chain than a B&B. We choose to stay at B&Bs rather than hotels for the personal touches, the friendly interactions, and the pleasant conversations that usually occur. That was not the case at all for this visit.
5 on August 23, 2013
Very clean, comfy bed, lots of nice details like cozy robes and makeup removal basket. Lighting above sink could be better for applying makeup. Spacious, nice sitting area. Food was INCREDIBLE and they accommodated dietary restrictions with notice. Stayed in Harvest House with TV. Wi-fi was good and strong. Very nice guest parlor areas. They have quiet hours at night, which was great, although note when staying the Harvest House that if you choose the room closest to the exterior door you will hear the door slam. Would absolutely stay here again. About 1/2 hour drive from Fallingwater.

Lovely place to stay. We only stayed one night as we were on our way to visit our daughter in New York. Very quiet place. Lovely grounds. Wonderful ice tea offered in evening. We sat on the grounds the evening we stopped - happened to see hummingbirds, robins, bunnies & unfortunately, a hawk capture a baby robin! Mosquito free. Lots of areas to sit so you can have a quiet place to be if you don't want to socialize. We have been to the Laurel Highlands area for the last 3 summers. We definitely will be back to stay here again. My husband likes to fish & I love Frank Lloyd Wright.

Excellent breakfast, very accommodating, clean, seriously comfortable with cozy robes, nice jacuzzi tub, nice sitting area. Stayed in Harvest House where there is TV. Wi-fi had good connectivity. Very nice guest lounges. One thing to keep in mind is that in Harvest House, room closest to entrance to building is great, but you will hear exterior door slam. Nice and quiet otherwise. Wonderful outdoor space.

We spent two wonderful nights at the inn where we felt extremely comfortable and welcomed by Nancy and Bill. The whole inn is immaculate and beautifully decorated with much attention to detail. The outdoor gardens and facilities were fabulous, and the amazing breakfasts were a real treat! The inn is well-situated for visits to Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. We highly recommend it and plan to revisit. Shirley and Joe

My husband and I were visiting the area to go to Kentucky Knob and Fallingwater. This inn had the best reviews of all the hotel/motel/bnb's in the area and the price was a bit better too, so we gave it a try. We made prior arrangements and checked in at 9pm and Nancy was very accommodating. We stayed for two nights and both breakfasts were awesome. So delicious. Unfortunately, we did so much that we didn't get to enjoy the grounds at all. We took a quick walk before we left and it looked very serene. We stayed in the John Watson room. Good size, overlooks the back gardens, large bathroom - really nice. We really had a nice stay and would definitely go back.

Charming, clean, amazing breakfast (with Bill and Nancy's home-made pork sausage and Nancy's amazingly light and delicious blueberry pancakes), beautiful grounds. But what really sets the Inne at Watson's Choice apart is Bill and Nancy. They are so genuine and warm, and go out of their way to make their guests comfortable. You feel as if you are staying at an old friend's home, however they also provide you with privacy, the inne is spacious and you are free to roam and sit in one of their multiple libraries or sitting areas, or by the fire pit in the garden. I have been recommending this inne to all my friends and family ever since and will continue to do so. Book your trip now - you will love it!

Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is good and they were inquisitive as to how they could improve it. Coffee is excellent and they always have cookies and a beverage waiting. Room is cozy and clean with all amenities including hair dryer. Lovely inn. Room was just a touch on the small side.

My husband and I spent two comfortable nights here and enjoyed two fabulous breakfasts. Clean, pleasant, of sufficient size. No need to hesitate reserving your room here.

This was the first B&B experience for my girlfriend and I and had our expectations exceeded in every aspect of our stay. We intended on staying just one night, but enjoyed our experience so much that we stayed an additional night. The rooms were very clean with a private bath. Common areas were well furnished and stocked with basic snacks, ice, drinks, etc. The property itself was very well landscaped and there are all sorts of sitting areas, a screened in porch, and/or hammock to choose from for relaxation. The dining area allowed for more private dining rather than sitting at one large table with guests. Breakfast was just enough to get you started without gorging oneself into a food coma. The innkeepers were very nice and accommodating. I would certainly recommend this place to others, especially those touring the nearby Frank Lloyd Wright attractions.

A lovely Inne and very well-kept room. The entire place was immaculately clean and decorated with antiques and various bits of Americana. Our hostess wasn't the warmest, but she was very efficient and thorough in her explanations and obviously very organized, which was appreciated. We weren't allowed to open the windows in our room (a sticker indicated that an alarm would sound) so if you want to hear the sounds of nature as you fall asleep, you'll be disappointed. That said, there are several charming and comfortable seating areas (one screened room, one three-walled shelter, and several seating areas) where you may watch the fireflies (such a treat!) and the sunset. I wish we had been able to stay longer, as the Inne would be a great base from which to explore this area further.

We hardly saw the innkeepers except for during breakfast and check-in. There was no one around when we left.
4.6 on July 16, 2013
The B&B is off the beaten path, it's charming and beautiful. The huge porch, koy pond, gardens and hillside view are all part of the nuance that surprises you. The rooms are beautiful and clean and beds are really comfortable. The breakfast is homemade and not your run of the mill B&B breakfast. The extra details make is special and the service was outstanding. We wish we could have stayed longer.

I rarely give reviews, but I was so thrilled with our experience at this B&B. The inn keepers were absolutely delightful and I could not believe how well kept the facilities/grounds were. Absolutely gorgeous! It's a little off the beaten path, but worth the trip. I highly recommend!

This beautiful quiet property was ideal for a stay in this part of the world. The grounds are spectacular and the breakfasts were substantial and delicious. There wasn't a detail they didn't have covered, including the grounds which had so many places to sit and relax while looking out onto the fields complete with two bulls! The breakfast exceeded expectations with everything, including pastries, being homemade. The rooms were extremely quiet, perfectly maintained, and again - they provided everything you could have wanted for your stay, including a full notebook about the local restaurants, directions for Wi-Fi, etc.

My husband and I attended a family wedding in Erie, PA. We wanted to incorporate a long overdue vacation into the week while traveling home to North Carolina. We found the Inne at Watson's Choice and Harvest House B&B on BedandBreakfast.com, read the reviews, and booked our room online. What a great choice this B&B turned out to be!! We stayed in the Blue Bird room which was both charming, clean, & comfortable! The Inne is a must see for anyone who loves hand hewn beams with notch and pin, etc. It is both elegant and charming! The hostess was very gracious and helpful. Before going into town we strolled around the beautiful property and sipped lemonade while relaxing in rocking chairs on the Inne's lovely wrap around porch. Next, we went into town and had a great dinner at the Titlow Tavern (food was a little pricey, but worth it!) The Titlow Tavern is loaded with history as you can enter/exit thru the old style replica of the old hotel! We loved that, also. Returned back to the Inne to a delightful, enchanting nighttime "porch sitting" soaking in the romantic and beautiful music softly playing on the porch and looking at the lamp posts glowing and enhancing the property all the more! Slept soundly in our cozy room and woke up the next morning refreshed. We especially enjoyed our breakfast of fresh fruit, blueberry pancakes, homemade brautworth/sausage,orange juice, coffee and pastries. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inne and hope that we can return and stay for a longer period of time. Our schedule did not allow us to visit the many sites around the area. We'll have to save that for our next visit! We would highly recommend this B&B to any looking for a great place to stay! North Carolina

The grounds and outdoor areas set this B&B apart. The innkeepers have done a magnificent job of providing many areas to enjoy both inside and out. As to the rooms, Nancy has gone above and beyond providing for guests. Items such as qtips and cotton pads are not typical amenities. The guest kitchen has snacks, there are chocolates on a tray, wine openers in the rooms, real glasses to use, books and magazines, puzzles and games to play...she has thought of everything! My cousin and I liked it so much, we stayed an extra day.

We loved everything about the Inne. The service was friendly, the Pineapple Room was sweet and cozy (loved the electric fireplace), breakfast was great and just loved the relaxing rocking chairs on the partial wrap around porch. Plus, it was in the country but close enough to Uniontown for going to dinner without a long drive. We would definitely go back!

This was the end of a weekend in the Laurel Hills of PA. Nancy and Ross were most gracious and their Inne is truly a picturesque, relaxing farm. It lacks nothing for a wonderful stay. We were in the Sunflower Room. The grounds were breathtaking and there were many opportunities to walk and experience nature. The breakfast was very special (it's a surprise) and the company was delightful. We hope to return. Maria, Orchard Park, NY

We chose this location because of its proximity to a number of attractions including Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, and Fort Necessity. The innkeepers were gracious and helpful throughout the stay. We took the Pineapple Room, on the ground floor, which was large enough, quiet, and comfortable. Decor of the room was not what I expected from the name as the rugs and beddings seemed more colonial than tropical. I expected brighter colors, more gold and yellow given the name. The common areas were very well decorated and quite comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and cookies or baked goods available in the afternoon/evening were good. There was a wine carafe for drinks, which is not often the case, but no coffee/tea after breakfast, but I did not ask for any either. The room has pages inviting comments on local restaurants/activities, which I found useful. More inns should invite guests ro comment on restaurant choices. The only "problem" was the TV sound, which wasn't right. It may not affect those who do not watch TV, and I could not tell if the problem was with the set itself or the cable system. It wasn 't awful, just annoying.

A wonderful place to stay! Lovingly restored old home with attention paid to every last detail. The property with it's gardens, summer room, covered porch, Adirondack chairs and amazing views are simply the best I've seen in any B&B I've stayed at. The hosts, Bill & Nancy, are great - they think of everything, from a small fridge for wine, wine glasses & corkscrew to chocolates & cookies, to a binder with reviews of and menus for local restaurants. Rooms are centrally air-conditioned which is not typical for a B & B and the rates are reasonable. Beds comfortable, rooms are a great size, everything is spotless. We came for Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, so this was a big plus!

This was a beautiful place to spend our 30th wedding anniversary being quiet, very comfortable. Classy cookies and wine were available in the evening, and tasty, well-prepared food in the morning... all served in a superbly beautiful dining room with beamed ceiling and ash wood floors. CLEAN, and we had loads of, towels, pillows, extra blankets and felt very cozy in the Bluebird room. We even saw some bluebirds and other wildlife in the back. We will return!

The pictures don't do the Inne at Watson's Choice justice. The inn itself was charming beyond our expectations and the grounds were downright beautiful. Both Nancy and Bill were welcoming and prepared a wonderful breakfast. Our only complaint was that the bed was extremely firm, and we prefer a relatively soft bed.
5 on May 07, 2013
As always, the Inn provides us with the perfect setting to relax, away from the stress and chaos that happens during the week. Nancy and Bill, without fail, provide the absolute best care while we are at the Inn. They are always close by should you need anything, and ensure you get the attention you either need or want. Open and friendly, but yet private when you need the privacy. Debbie McClanahan

My wife and I have been here many times and look forward to our next visit. Nancy and Bob have a great B&B that is so comfortable, inviting, peaceful, and relaxing. We enjoy the wonderful breatkfast each morning too. Our favorite rooms are the Pineapple, Quilt, and Bluebird rooms which have a fireplace as we usually visit in the fall and winter months and these rooms are in the original part of this historic house. Everything is decorated perfectly and each room has everything you need. Nice place for relaxing and for a romantic getaway that is only about 70 minutes from Pittsburgh and about 25 minutes to Nemacolin Woodlands and many other attractions.

We were warmly received and enjoyed our stay in the Quilt Room. The house itself with the dining area and parlors provided a warm and inviting environment. Nancy and Bill run a fantastic B&B. They could not have been more welcoming or more flexible with our arrival and departure times. Each room has its own thermostat, and each is a separate little haven. Ours had the most fantastic view over the countryside. The bed was very comfortable, there are many little extras, like a glass of wine available, if wanted. The location is rural but close enough to Uniontown that there is a good selection of restaurants nearby. The only reason I did not give 5 stars to Dining is that breakfast tended to be a little too sweet for my husband and myself, and without a choice for the main hot dish.

We've stayed in B&B's for years. We discovered Watson's Choice ten years ago and have visited there several times over the years. I visited again last week - still finding the same beautiful grounds, meticulous room, scrumptious, homemade breakfast and friendly hosts. Watson's Choice is a special place - the hosts continue to maintain a quality atmosphere not often found elsewhere.
Thank you for your recent stay with us at the Inne at Watson's Choice. It was a pleasure to host you and we look forward to your next visit.

Thank you for visiting with us. So glad that you had a relaxing get away. Come back to the Laurel Highlands soon. Happy New Year 2013!

Our stay at Watson's Choice was terriffic. Our host were friendly and caring. The breakfast was fabulous. Our room was inviting and we slept very well. Most importantly, everything was very clean. I would like to go back again when the weather is warmer and enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Love the location, near many historical landmarks including two Frank Lloyd Wright homes and Fort Necessity among others. We visited in October at the peak of the fall colors and had a great time. Nancy is very friendly and her breakfast made our morning. The rooms and bathrooms are pleasant and clear, but not fancy or updated. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.

A Gem Near Fallingwater We found the Inne at Watson's Choice on-line when we were looking for a place to stay for a visit to Fallingwater. Nancy and Bill Ross have turned their property into an outstanding environment for hospitality. They spent many years restoring and adding on to the Inne, and it is a gem. Our Pineapple Room was lovely, Nancy accommodated special food needs graciously and beautifully, and we enjoyed the other guests. Thank you! George and Wink Covintree

The Inn was lovely and the breakfasts were very good. Breakfast featured a hot entree and several breads and cereals in addition. The other areas outside of the room were inviting and well stocked. We especillay liked that we could build a fire in the outdoor space and enjoy the stars. Convenient location to many landmarks and historical areas and the Frank Lloyd Wright houses.

We chose the Inne at Watson's Choice purely by pictures off the Internet, and we couldn't have been more pleased. With the exception of a mattress in my fellow travelers' room, which was hard as a plank board, the place really set the bar high. Nancy and Bill Ross were very kind and thoughtful hosts, but they were markedly disinterested in us. However, we overlooked this and enjoyed our stay and the lovely amenities anyway. I would recommend and I would return again, if I needed to.

Great place to stay to enjoy the peace and quiet from the city pace. Bill and Nancy take care of everything and we truly enjoyed chatting with them in the morning. They pay careful attention to detail and the room and overall place is impeccable. Will be recommending to our friends if they ever head this way.

We stayed here while attending a reunion and loved the Inne. Unfortunately our time was pretty booked while we were there so we were unable to spend much time actually on the property. The breakfasts were excellent as were the afternoon cookies. We will definitely stay again when the opportunity arrises.

Nancy and Bill Ross have put their heart and soul into this beautiful inn and it shows in the rooms, grounds and public areas of the inn. The breakfast was substantial and tasty and their website was extremely helpful with detailed information about the nearby attractions.

Truly a delightful, well-maintained, well-run, relaxing, inviting and wonderful place. I knocked off one star for dining only because dinners are not regularly available, but the breakfast is good, home-cooked and wholesome food. Our room was well-appointed with many nice touches, but without sacrificing functionality. The Inne's location is a bucolic setting and the owners have taken great pains to preserve the 200 year old character while still providing all the creature comforts (including wifi) that modern upscale travelers naturally expect. There are also several good golf courses nearby as well as some fine restaurants in nearby Uniontown. We will return next time we are in the area.

We stayed, for our second time, this past weekend. As always, the hospitality was excellent. The room was fine. We liked the room at the Harvest House better, but just because it was roomier for us. All rooms are clean and well maintained. We love the owners and will go back again !

We were planning to take a mini break from the normal busy life and read great things about Inne at Watson's choice on the web. It really turned out to be true. Very nice and peaceful place to spend a few days. Very serene and calm. The hosts were very gracious and the breakfast in the morning was also very good. The room we stayed in had an american theme and we liked it. We visited some popular destinations when we stayed there like Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob and Ohiopyle state park. These are all located within a few miles from this place and very convenient. This place is also close to some very good restaurants in the town so it is easy when you stay there to go have a good dinner or lunch. All in all, the place provided a very nice atmosphere where we could relax and enjoy!

The Inne at Watson's Choice is located on beautiful grounds with plenty of outdoor seating areas that offer a chance to enjoy the outdoors but still feel like you had some privacy even if other guests were nearby. The inn was very clean and decor was lovely. The food was outstanding! The bed was a little too firm for me but we still had a good nights sleep.

We have been coming for years and this visit was absolutely wonderful. We brought a lady with us who had never visited before and she thought she had died and gone to heaven. It was a lovely retreat. Nancy and Bill Ross were excetionally gracious to us. We got in very late and not according to plan at all. Two of the ladies we travelled with had speaking engagements in Pittsburgh. Due to unforseen traffic, an accident (not ours) and a severe thunder storm we got in late and I would imagine had to get the Ross's out of bed.....lovely breakfast the next morning and special as we had two diabetics with us. Nancy made them a low carb breakfast to order. Thank you! Again.

We were very impressed by the Inne and grounds. The rooms were spotless and quiet. We enjoyed our breakfast and bought a souvenir coffee mug. This visit was a small homecoming for me. Uniontown is my hometown and I enjoyed seeing the sites and visiting old ones. Coming back to Watson's Choice was a pleasure for us/

Nancy and Bill are great hosts. The Inn is charming and there is nothing like sitting out on the veranda for morning coffee. The grounds are well kept with numerous options for hiking, sitting by an evening fire, enjoying the sounds of the countryside. Friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to chat with at the beginning or end of your day. Great location to start out from for many activities and sights in the area. Watson's Choice was the right choice for us. 8-12

I enjoyed my stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice, and I would recommend the Inne to my friends and family. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The grounds surrounding the Inne were lovely and provided many opportunities to enjoy nature. One of my concerns involved signing a paper which among other things stated I could be financially responsible for replacing a washcloth if I had makeup residue left on it. The innkeepers also required everyone to be inside by midnight. Some people might have difficulty making that deadline if they are sightseeing in surrounding areas.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Harvest House at the Inne at Watson's Choice. The owners were very friendly, but left us to ourselves with instructions to call if we needed anything. They provided a great list of dining choices with guest reviews of several restaurants and menus so that we could make our choice on where to eat for dinner without leaving our room. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and fresh. It's far enough removed (on 40+ acres) to be quiet at night, but close driving distance to several dining establishments and other areas of interest in the area (like Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob!). Just what we were looking for! It was our very first experience with a B&B and it exceeded our highest expectations! We will certainly recommend this B&B to friends (we actually already have!).

My mother and I stayed in the Sunflower Room in the Harvest House at the Inne at Watson's Choice. The Harvest House is a separate building from the Inne and offered a gathering room (a bit musty smelling) and a guest pantry which we utilized for coffee and ice. Our room was spotless and beautifully, thoughtfully decorated with antiques and, of course, a sunflower theme; very comfortable. The grounds were extremely well-maintained, with many welcoming outdoor seating/gathering areas, including a lovely, shaded wrap-around porch with rocking chairs, as well as a courtyard with many tables/chairs and a screened room. Had the weather not been so hot during our visit, we would have availed ourselves of the outdoor areas much more. We walked the grounds and took many pictures of the historic property. My only suggestion would be that guests be offered a choice at breakfast, or advise the guests of the menu thus giving guests an opportunity to decline rather than waste food. The only thing we were asked (on our breakfast card) was whether we ate pork or not. I didn't want to say no to bacon but was offered sausage (which I don't eat) both days of our stay. All in all, a wonderful, convenient place to stay. The Innekeeper's directions to Fallingwater were spot-on; but the travel time was under-estimated. Allow about an hour to get to Fallingwater if you have a tour time, as they want you to arrive about 15 minutes in advance.

It is easy to see the care and commitment the owners of the Inne at Watson's Choice and Harvest House B&B have making your stay a wonderful experience. Nice, very clean, large rooms, beautifully maintained grounds and great breakfast. We only stayed one night and were in and out a lot, but with the love and quality we saw, wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the experience even more. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

My wife and I had an awesome stay here as we toured Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. The room was comfortable, however the bed was a bit too hard in yhe "Pineapple Room". Our host at check in was gracios and helpful, however his wife (who made our delicious breakfast) was a bit rude/abrupt upon first meeting her at breakfast. Apparently the coffee cups in the room are for 7am-8am coffee ONLY. Our hostess greeted my wife with a repremand as she grabbed her cup away from her, waving it in her face, "these are the 7-8 cups!" . . . And that is all she spoke to us for the remainder of our stay :(. That said, the gentleman made up for what his wife lacked in hospitality and they keep an amazing, peaceful B & B!

We have often stayed at the Inne at Watson's Choice. Always immaculate, beautiful grounds, delicious breakfast. Someone recently wrote all positives regarding the inn but spoke unkindly regarding towels. The review seems to be a "double edge sword". There are always two sets of towels, beautifully displayed, soft and thick. If you need them replaced we just request them. An innkeeper needs to know if something isn't correct but do it kindly and in person. You don't know there is a concern if it isn't expressed. Sometimes it is hard for a person to not find fault. We can give a glowing compliment to start and then muddle it with unkind words that over shadows the good part.
4.4 on June 22, 2012
Very lovely, charming, bed and breakfast. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice quiet place to stay. The breakfast is outstanding! The grounds are well kept and beautiful, very relaxing. I do recommend you bring your own bath towels and cloths if you stay more than one night.
We appreciate comments made by our guests. There are always two sets of towels, beautifully displayed, soft and thick. If you need them replaced you request them. Most inns allow for one set of linens especially if it is just a one night stay. An innkeeper doesn't know if you are unhappy with something unless you discuss it with us and give us an opportunity to help you. I am completely baffled by the review as it is highly praising in the beginning but spirals downward at the end without an explanation or ever discussing it with us.

Arrived late and they had no problem. We stayed in the Woodlands room and it was gorgeous. The bed very comfy and loved the huge jacuzzi tub! Sunday morning breakfast was AMAZING. Fresh fruits, juices and homemade pastries(apple tart, berry something, peach cobbler and some other things) Main course was homemade baked egg and large sausage! The location is out there but close enough to get to town for dinner. The view is beautiful and peaceful. There are lots of options to sit outside and relax! I would go again.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Inne (this was our second visit), and we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation, beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodations. Nancy and Bill have thought of everything, and we highly recommend the Inne if you really want to relax and enjoy peaceful surroundings. The grounds include an outdoor scheduled gazebo (lovely at night), a fire pit surrounded by comfortable adironak chairs, several places to snuggle up with a good book and a glass of wine and all the amenities you need for a relaxing time away from the hassles of the world. We recommend the Inne to all of our friends.

5 on June 07, 2012
This was our first time ever at a bed and breakfast. We were nervous because we are somewhat private and thought the B&B might be to "close". Nancy and Bill were very inviting. We stayed in the Four Seasons room. Beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had a great night's rest on the very comfortable king size bed. The whirlpool tub was perfect after our 3 hour caving adventure in Laurel Caverns...(recommended but lots of climbing up, over, and through) They had a dvd player and tv with cable (enough channels to find something for everyone). The price was perfect for how wonderful everything was. The absolute BEST part of all...Nancy's HOMEMADE breakfast. We had two mornings there and both of the 3 course breakfast's tasted out of this world, and were decorated like a professional chef. Our room was in the harvest house which has a gathering room with pantry. Mini-fridge, hot beverages and snacks were available round the clock for the picking. They had games, magazines, books etc for guests. They offered little surprises here and there. We went to 30 East Main for dinner on our second night. Food was ok, but pricey for the quality. We most likely won't return there. Fallingwater was nice and relaxing. A must see for all at least once in a lifetime. In all we can't wait to return to Watson's Choice. We weren't ready to leave. I would like to try other rooms just see what they're like, but would love to stay in the Four Seasons room again.

This old farmhouse dating from 1769 looks out at the back on a sweeping vista of farmland, which adds to the calm and welcoming atmosphere. It was a perfect stopping off point, on the edge of the spectacular forests and hills of the Laurel Highlands. The room was comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and our hosts friendly and helpful in everything.

We visit Uniontown, Fallingwater, and other local sites about every other year, and the Inne at Watson's Choice has been our choice of where to stay for the past six visits. On our stay this past weekend we enjoyed spending time in the lovely gardens behind the Inne. The Stuffed French Toast at breakfast was amazing. Our room in the Harvest House was full of conveniences, and the gathering room adjacent to it was stocked with magazines, games, a jar of sweets, and a carafe of wine. We highly recommend the Inne as a jumping-off point from which to enjoy the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania!

I chose to propose marriage to my girlfriend at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, and wanted to make the weekend extra special by staying at a nearby Bed & Breakfast. The folks at the Inne at Watson's Choice made sure we were welcomed & taken care of the entire stay & beyond. The breakfast was delicious & conversations were nice. A very good deal & a scenic landscape.

I have stayed here during the week for business for the past month. The innkeepers wait up for me to get in on Sunday evening, have a nice breakfast waiting for me at my appointed time, and the lights are on in my room at night, welcoming back for the evening. Any special requests have been honored and they are wonderful hosts. Since I'm not from the area, Bill and Nancy have been quite helpful with orienting me to local restaurants and sites. This has truly been a wonderful home away from home and it feels good to come in at night and feel like you're staying at a relative's home. Because I have come and gone for the past month, I've treated myself to staying in all the downstairs rooms; each has it's own unique spirit and different special amenities, i.e. John Watson room with the large bathroom and fantastic panaromic view of the countryside; Pineappple room with the working fireplace insert and view of the wraparound porch and the Flower Garden King with the fantastic view of the countryside. If I'm bold enough, I'll venture upstairs on future stays. My recommendation comes highly that you can expect a quiet, quaint, relaxing stay, in wonderfully appointed surroundings and welcoming hosts. Thank you immensely, C. W., Philadelphia, PA

What a wonderful respite we had at this Inne. Our room which was in the Harvest House was very comfortable, quiet and beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was not only delicious, but homemade by Nancy and her husband and it was filling and gorgeous. Homemade pastries filled the table by the kitchen. We were served a individual quiche, their own sausage, homemade Portuguese bread with wonderful strawberry preserves. Everything was perfect! Warm and outstanding hospitality.

My Girlfriend and I spent a Couple Fall nights here and were very happy with our choice. It was conveniently located to the attractions we were destined but still enough out in the country to, "get away". We stayed in the older part of the Inn and the Ross's have done a tremendous job at restoring this beautiful home as well as the grounds. Had we just made this our destination we would have been more than happy. The breakfast was fabulous. "Nancy," it's alright to smile once in a while.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary by staying at a Bed and Breakfast for the first time. Watson's Choice was perfect. The attention to detail, in the rooms, the gathering areas, dining areas, outside gardens was extraordinary. The room we stayed in was perfect, clean and well kept. The owners, Nancy and Bill were wonderful. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many places to walk and sit. The Inne is so close to many attractions in the Laurel Highlands. It's only 1/2 hour to Fallingwater, Ohiopyle is close for hiking, rafting or biking. The inn is 15 minutes away from Uniontown mall and other major retailers, but you would never know it from the quiet, rural location. This was our first stay in a Bed and Breakfast and will not be our last. But, it will be hard to find one that is as good as The Inne at Watson's Choice.

We've stayed at the Inne at Watson's Choice twice in the past three years and were very pleased with our accommodations in the Four Seasons Room both times. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful and well-maintained grounds around the Inne and Harvest House are prescribed tranquility for any weary travelers. No two breakfasts were the same, and they were exceptional. Nancy and Bill are top notch innkeepers. They gave us many recommendations for sightseeing and dining out. The room was comfortable with amenities that met my needs, the breakfast was homemade and served to meet my schedule, the setting in the evening was quiet and comfortable with complimentary wine and access to sitting rooms and the wrap around candle lit porch. A real gem!

We enjoyed our stay at Watson's Choice. I chose a small room, but was impressed by the extras at Watson's Choice. The sitting rooms were stock with snacks, wine, and chocolates. The outdoor space was very inviting. Best of all, the breakfasts were varied, interesting, and yummy. They accommodated our dietary needs with variety and grace.

We were pleasantly surprised at what a delightful and relaxing experience we had. The B&B was 1769 (on the wagon) era and decorated appropriately. Our room was a bit smaller than appeared to be online, however it was very clean and fresh with nice linens and a comfortable bed. The innkeepers really went out of their way to anticipate any needs the guest might have. Other guest that visited during our stay were pleasant, interesting, respectful and some were returning guest. To me, that speaks for itself. Breakfast was delicious . Foods that were cold were chilled nicely and hot foods hot. The dining area was set up attractively. I especially enjoyed the morning breakfast as the innkeepers gave excellent service and were willing to accommodate special requests . It was also a time to have some conversation and get to learn a little more of their background and the history of the B&B. In the afternoon we made it a point to spend time exploring the grounds which had several little areas for relaxing. My husband always found the cookie jar that was set out each afternoon as was iced tea or lemonade.........a nice touch. Plenty of restaurants near by as well as things to do. I was disappointed with the two antique stores we visited :(. All in all it was a great experience and some place I think we will visit again and a again .

What a charming inne! We could only stay one night but had the opportunity to walk the grounds (cornfields, vistas, lovely gardens). Our room was the Apple Suite, on the first floor and cleverly decorated. It was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our breakfast, cooked and served by the owners, was outstanding. We met several other visitors in the dining room that morning; it was easy to talk with them from our table. The owners are wonderful hosts. We visited Falling Water while there and loved the surrounding countryside: the Laurel Highlands of PA. We would definitely return if we are in that area.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful and very primative home and thought it was very lovely and very clean. Nancy & Bill were very helpful in explaining the directions we needed for nearby areas. Their home, outbuildings and the courtyard are extremely neat and clean. We loved it.... wonderful experience. The food was truly delicious and very well presented. Mike & Nancy

I arrived in Uniontown by way of ambulance due to a reaction to some medication and without transportation since my car had to be left where I was picked up by EMT. Nancy picked me & my teenage daughter up and gave us a ride to the Inne, provided us with the name & number of a local pizza delivery restaurant and told us not to worry about my car - we'd take care of that in the morning after having a decent meal and a good night's rest. The Sunflower room was comfortable, charmingly decorated and sparkling clean. We slept well and the next morning enjoyed a delicious breakfast of pancakes with natural maple syrup and homemade sausage and Nancy found a local courier who drove me to pick up my car. The driver was friendly and charged me a very reasonable rate for a pretty lengthy drive to my car. The rest of our stay was thankfully uneventful and very enjoyable. The hospitality and kindness shown to us by both Nancy and Bill speaks volumes to the importance they place on making sure their guests are well taken care of. They have a charming inn that I would recommend to anyone interested in traveling to the Laurel Highlands.

Inne at Watson's Choice is just perfect in all aspects. Friendly and helpful innkeepers, immaculate and adorably decorated rooms, beautiful grounds, great breakfasts (the mixed berry cobbler was to die for) in a peaceful and serence setting. It is also conveniently located for all the local attractions and activities. It just doesn't get any better than this.

Delicious breakfasts each day, cozy porches and wonderful outside areas to enjoy a glass of wine or talk. It is ideally located near many parks to enjoy.

The grounds are "outstanding". There are all sorts of nooks and crannies, outside, to read or reflect in rain or shine. I could take a week-long retreat here and go no where else. The property as well as the house and rooms is just lovely and peaceful. We come to visit friends in the area but this B&B itself is a place to visit and stay and get refreshed.

We enjoyed our first night's stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice so much that we booked for a second night. Having enjoyed an excellent continental breakfast before our early departure to Fallingwater on day 1, the 'eggs Watson' were fabulous for day 2 breakfast. The countryside setting, the porch and garden (butterflies, hummingbords, red squirrels), lemonade and cookies were supplemented by Nancy and Bill's friendly helpful hospitality. We will be back!

Many B and B's advertise as "Secluded" - but Watson's Choice truly is. Bill and Nancy have done an incredible amount of work in creating their environment, and while there are neighbors, you are truly in your own world here. The grounds, indoors and out, are beautiful and meticulously kept. The hosts are gracious, friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the food was marvelous. Can you stay somewhere more cheaply? - certainly, but I would never trade it for a hotel. We are definitely recommending Watson's Choice to friends and family. Thanks, Bill and Nancy!

Our stay was wonderful including the delicious breakfast with fresh bakery and entree, thoughtful afternoon snacks, and the comfortable room. Bill and Nancy are perfect hosts making sure you have everything to enjoy your visit! The home and grounds were immaculate and very peaceful from the fish pond to the summer house. Plan your daily excursions to be in by midnight or ask if you can make arrangements. Unfortunately the windows cannot be opened to enjoy the fresh country air.

Looking for a place to stay near Ohiopyle for a white water rafting trip, I found the Inn on the Web. Having stayed at nearby Nemacolin Resort, I did not have high expectations for the Inn....boy I was wrong. The Inn is a captivating escape; not only from the hustle and bustle off Washington DC, but the "commercial" resort-like atmosphere of Namacolin. If you're looking for a quite, charming, impeccably decorated, get away with an attention to detail, the Inn is for you. A great value for the money, my wife and I are planning on returning for a visit with Nancy and Bill for our birthdays this fall.

The grounds were magnificent. The inn was well maintained. The food was very good. Portions were plentiful. The innkeeper was not quick to share information. Questions had to be asked and sometimes answers were very brief.

Watsons Choice is a beautiful B&B. The property was beautiful and the surroundings were so very peaceful. Nancy Ross' breakfasts were out of this world. We enjoyed our stay and came home to California refreshed and relaxed. The only issue was the innkeeper Nancy. She was very grumpy and unfriendly, almost like we were intruding. Lots of rules to follow, but once you get past that it's ok. She did lock me out one night even though she said the doors don't lock until midnight. Luckily, the only other customer staying that night heard me and let me in, otherwise I would have been spending the night on the swing outside. I kept giving Nancy kudos on her breakfasts and how nice her place was but never once did she say thank you. Her husband Bill was very nice. It's a nice place to stay if you can put up with a grumpy innkeeper.

From the friendly service to the room, Watson's choice is the best Band B my wife and I have ever stayed at. We are plaing to return next year.

Lovely escape. The view of the sunset just gorgeous. Hosts made you feel very welcomed and at home. Delicious breakfast every morning. We would defintely stay at the Inne again.
4.6 on July 20, 2011
The Inne was lovely. Rooms were comfortable. Unfortunately we had early reservations at Falling Waters and could not stay for the hot breakfast, but Nancy did have many homemade delicious foods for us to eat. She prepared a lovely bundt cake, and mixed berry cobbler and a beautiful fruit tray. Would loove to go back and spend more time in the lovely gardens.
5 on July 15, 2011
My husband and I stayed at the Harvest House, which is a seperate building right behind the main Inne. It was lovely. The grounds we beautiful, the room was large, clean and well appointed. The Harvest House has wireless internet and television, which were a must for us. The entire stay was great. I would go back in a second.

While I marked met my expectations for most things, I have high expectations, so that's a compliment. Watson's choice is ina beautiful area with much to appreciate about the site.
4.4 on July 13, 2011
We had two rooms in the Harvest House annex; both were great, very clean and comfortable. What sets this inn apart is the outdoor landscaping. Acres of land, numerous cozy places to sit and play games without bothering other guests/groups, fish pond, picnic bench, two person swings, a stand alone patio room with electricity and a ceiling fan......all made to encourage guests to relax and enjoy being outdoors. Did I mention the great breakfasts and private bathrooms in each room? We will definitely stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice whenever we are in the area.

Our tenth anniversary, spent in Uniontown and Ohiopyle, was delightful. With so many attractions in the area, it was the ideal location: 20-30 minutes from most things. The Harvest House at the Inne was a perfect combination of privacy and accessibility, with beautifully furnished rooms, thoughtfully supplied common rooms, and wonderful landscaping around the property. We loved it and have recommended it to friends and family. The owners were perfect hosts accommodating all our needs.

Nancy and Bill are lovely hosts; Nancy was born in the same house, so she knows the area and the culture. Very quiet; wonderful to sit outside and watch the birds and rabbits in the field that stretches out behind the Inne.

We stayed in a room in the Harvest House part of this bed and breakfast, and it was excellent. The room was great, the whirpool tube we used twice. The best thing is the grounds though - they have done a fantastic job and it is so nice just to sit outside on the chairs or swings watching the sunset.
4.6 on June 20, 2011
Nice quite and relaxing place with all the little touches throughout. The rooms are nice, but the grounds are even better. Many little corners both inside and outside to sit and relax. Breakfast also was great! Plenty of good food for breakfast (homemade dishes) Highly recommend it!
4.8 on June 14, 2011
This is a lovely, peaceful Inne, located out in the countryside. There are three or four cozy spots outside (one enclosed) to sit, read and relax. The breakfast is suberb and Bill and Nancy are thoughtful hosts. We've visited several B&B,s, but we return to this one every year. This is a great place for a rest - inviting quiet places inside as well. Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. We never tire of this oasis.
5 on June 13, 2011
We have stayed in many B&B's throughout the years, but we have returned to this particular inn many times. It is simply a wonderful experience. Each room has a delightful decor and is very comfortably accommodated with a private bath. The gardens areas provide a tranquil and restful setting, and the porch and outdoor sitting areas are equally inviting. The bountiful breakfasts offer a variety of delicious specialties created by Nancy. The service and hospitality is outstanding. Bill and Nancy are gracious hosts and offer assistance with directions, area attractions, restaurants, and local history. A stay at this inn will truly be a memorable experience if you plan to visit the Laurel Highlands area of PA. Ron and Jo Ellen Stevens

Absolutely GORGEOUS grounds/gardens/santuaries set up for the guests to enjoy!!! Unfortunately we did not have enough time to thoroughly enjoy as we were visiting the area for a very short stay. Rooms were immaculate and service was impecable. We would have liked to open the windows for a breeze into our room; however, we would have set off their alarm (alot of antiques within the house!) Innkeepers had some stringent rules due to recent problems, so if you go, please respect what is not yours. I would have liked to have had a choice for breakfast main dish - did not care for syrupy fruit garnish on top of souffle. Overall, would do again to sway w/my husband in one of their many outside swings while listening to the birds!!!!!!!

We stayed for 2 nights. Our experience pretty much mirrored many of the comments on TripAdvisor. In other words, the room was lovely (and VERY clean) and the breakfast was great. The hosts are serviceable, but I would not describe them as upbeat.

We love staying at the Inn at Watson's Choice--we stayed at the Harvest House on their property and it was just what we needed. This is our third visit and aside from the wonderfully appointed rooms and amenities, Nancy prepares the best breakfasts: homemade buttermilk pancakes, sausage and accompaniments. We'll be back!

We thought this was a very good value compared to staying in a chain motel. The room was comfortable and relaxing. It was a pleasant end to our trip. Loved the breakfast. It was relaxing to sit and read with no TV. We hadn't stayed in a B&B for a while because of the cost but this reminded us how nice they can be. It was a lot nicer and more personal than chain motel.

Beautiful pastoral views. Well appointed, comfortable rooms with private bath. Minutes from Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water & Kentuck Knob. Less than an hour from Pittsburgh Most hospitable hosts, Nancy & Bill Ross, could not have been more pleasing or more informative of events in the area. Inne at Watson's Choice was more than I expected. The couple that runs it are very friendly and very helpful. The decor is warm and charming. The food was phenomenal. Nancy Ross is an artist when it comes to breakfast. And Maps. She drew a map that even I could understand. I give the Inne 5 star shaped pancakes that melt in

Watson's Choice offers superb accommodation with all the amenities. Conveniently located in a quiet country setting just 20 minutes from Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural masterpiece "Falling Water". The B&B is spotlessly clean, casual and comfortable. There is plenty of privacy if you want it and nicely appointed common areas to read, socialize, or chat about the day's excursion. Nancy provides a fabulous breakfast of wholesome food made with fresh ingredients. She served something different every day. All equally delicious and satisfying. Bill does an awesome job of maintaining the property and landscaping their picturesque country location. Our hosts were helpful with suggestions for shopping and dining and provided maps and directions. It exceeded our expectations for accommodations close to Falling Water and Kentuk Knob. We enjoyed the hospitality and inn so much we extended our stay. Thank you Nancy & Bill. We'll be back.

The Inne at Watson's Choice was the perfect choice for our St. Patty's Day getaway. We were pleased from the minute we pulled in the driveway. Our stay at the Inn at Watson's Choice was wonderful. A great place for couples of any age to relax and unwind and enjoy the surroundings with each other. The rooms are very cozy not to mention cleanly presented, they are done in themes which I could Imagine takes a great deal of of vision and time to personally add that special touch. The meals were prepared with alot of thought and consideration. This visit for us was our 2nd, We look forward to return this summer for a nice retreat as well, We would recommend this B & B to anyone. Joe & Nancy Pittsburgh, Pa.

We have been to the Inne several times and are thrilled and delighted every time we walk in the door, no matter the season! This time we had the most gorgeous "white Christmas" which made our stay all the more lovely. Bill and Nancy are terrific hosts and work hard to please. The food is fabulous, the beds are incredible and the detail in each room is meticulous. If you like old-fashioned charm, stay just once and you will be hooked!

We enjoyed our stay in the Harvest House. Make sure you reserve one of the king bedrooms with jacuzzi tub. All was very clean and nice. We rented a Redbox film in town. The TV screen is a little small and sat in an armoire that blocks the view. It was very pretty outside with the snow. You will not be able to set the temperature in your room, but the hosts are very accomodating and will change it for you as requested.

We've stayed in many B&B's and the Inne at Watson's Choice could be the nicest one yet. Bill and Nancy are wonderful inkeepers who truly make you feel like you're a guest in their home. The breakfasts are AMAZING and the home is lovely, exceptionally clean and decorated beautifully. If this B&B were in a more popular area it would be impossible to get into & cost significantly more. It was a great home base for a getaway weekend exploring 2 Frank Lloyd Wright homes (Fallingwater & Kentuk Knob) which are a short drive away, as well as the beautiful state parks in the area. I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

Nancy and Bill go out of their way at all times to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable! The breakfast was outstanding, with many home-made delights, fresh fruit, delicious rice pudding, as well as a hot breakfast of the day! The landscaping was breath-taking and the outside grounds were enjoyable and relaxing. From the rocking chairs and swings on the porch to the pond and summer house in the back yard. They also took the time to put together two albums of how this well-appointed dwelling was built from an old farm house, keeping many of the original appointments. We loved it --- Marie and Ray

Very romantic, but I can also see families enjoying it (there are a few cozy lounges in the manor, where you can spend a quiet evening by the fireside). We got a great, romantic room with a whirlpool bathtub. Everything was really thought out to the last detail. The innkeepers, Bill and Nancy, are friendly and helpful but not overburdening, and the breakfasts they made were delicious. Altogether a great choice. Nearby dining at Uniontown or Perrypolis was some of the best we've had in a while. Highly recommended. The only cons are no Internet yet (they expect it by Feb 2009) and views are nice but limited from most rooms, although you could sit outside and enjoy if the weather's good. Exceptional value.
