Inne at Watson's Choice and Harvest House B&B

The pictures don't do the Inne at Watson's Choice justice. The inn itself was charming beyond our expectations and the grounds were downright beautiful. Both Nancy and Bill were welcoming and prepared a wonderful breakfast. Our only complaint was that the bed was extremely firm, and we prefer a relatively soft bed.

My husband and I took a quick weekend trip to Fallingwater. Even though it was about 45 minutes away, we decided to stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice based on the numerous positive reviews we had read. The Inne was quaint and very clean, breakfast was delicious. Nancy and Bill were the most gracious hosts and run a class act establishment. Definitely recommend!

Nancy and Bill are very gracious hosts. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Food is outstanding. Decor is very interesting and the property is lovely.

We were delighted with the Inne at Watson's Choice. We were warmly welcomed by Bill and shown to our cosy comfortable room. It was somewhat smaller than it appeared in the pictures but we enjoyed it. After a delicious breakfast the next morning Nancy and Bill gave us helpful instructions to Fallingwater. We hope to return to the area and would definitely stay again at the Inne at Watson's Choice.

We were warmly received and enjoyed our stay in the Quilt Room. The house itself with the dining area and parlors provided a warm and inviting environment. We chatted with other guests while relaxing in the parlor and felt very much at home. Looking forward to going back and to warmer weather to sit on the porch and enjoy the landscape. Nancy and Bill run a fantastic B&B. They could not have been more welcoming or more flexible with our arrival and departure times. Each room has its own thermostat, and each is a separate little haven. Ours had the most fantastic view over the countryside. The bed was very comfortable, there are many little extras, like a glass of wine available, if wanted. The location is rural but close enough to Uniontown that there is a good selection of restaurants nearby. The only reason I did not give 5 stars to Dining is that breakfast tended to be a little too sweet for my husband and myself, and without a choice for the main hot dish.

We've stayed in B&B's for years. We discovered Watson's Choice ten years ago and have visited there several times over the years. I visited again last week - still finding the same beautiful grounds, meticulous room, scrumptious, homemade breakfast and friendly hosts. Watson's Choice is a special place - the hosts continue to maintain a quality atmosphere not often found elsewhere.

Our stay at Watson's Choice was terriffic. Our host were friendly and caring. The breakfast was fabulous. Our room was inviting and we slept very well. Most importantly, everything was very clean. I would like to go back again when the weather is warmer and enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Love the location, near many historical landmarks including two Frank Lloyd Wright homes and Fort Necessity among others. We visited in October at the peak of the fall colors and had a great time. Nancy is very friendly and her breakfast made our morning. The rooms and bathrooms are pleasant and clear, but not fancy or updated. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.

The Inne provided a lovely, comfortable room for us to return to after a day of hiking and enjoying the area's beauty. Innkeeper Nancy's breakfasts were outstanding!

A Gem Near Fallingwater We found the Inne at Watson's Choice on-line when we were looking for a place to stay for a visit to Fallingwater. Nancy and Bill Ross have turned their property into an outstanding environment for hospitality. They spent many years restoring and adding on to the Inne, and it is a gem. The Inn was lovely and the breakfasts were very good. Breakfast featured a hot entree and several breads and cereals in addition. The other areas outside of the room were inviting and well stocked. We especillay liked that we could build a fire in the outdoor space and enjoy the stars. Convenient location to many landmarks and historical areas and the Frank Lloyd Wright houses.

My husband and I loved our stay!! The inne is absolutely beautiful and breakfast is delicious. We will no doubt return to Inne at Watson's Choice on our next trip to the area.

We chose the Inne at Watson's Choice purely by pictures off the Internet, and we couldn't have been more pleased. With the exception of a mattress in my fellow travelers' room, which was hard as a plank board, the place really set the bar high. Nancy and Bill Ross were very kind and thoughtful hosts, but they were markedly disinterested in us. However, we overlooked this and enjoyed our stay and the lovely amenities anyway. I would recommend and I would return again, if I needed to.

Great place to stay to enjoy the peace and quiet from the city pace. Bill and Nancy take care of everything and we truly enjoyed chatting with them in the morning. We arrived quite late after a long flight from west coast. The host was very welcoming and helpful at the late hour.

We stayed here while attending a reunion and loved the Inne. Unfortunately our time was pretty booked while we were there so we were unable to spend much time actually on the property. The breakfasts were excellent as were the afternoon cookies. We will definitely stay again when the opportunity arrises.

Nancy and Bill Ross have put their heart and soul into this beautiful inn and it shows in the rooms, grounds and public areas of the inn. The breakfast was substantial and tasty and their website was extremely helpful with detailed information about the nearby attractions.

What a lovely inn! Great hosts, delicious food, comfortable and clean accommodations, fabulous patio area...it must have been fun hunting for all the interior furniture and decorations! What more could you ask for?

Truly a delightful, well-maintained, well-run, relaxing, inviting and wonderful place. I knocked off one star for dining only because dinners are not regularly available, but the breakfast is good, home-cooked and wholesome food. Our room was well-appointed with many nice touches, but without sacrificing functionality. The Inne's location is a bucolic setting and the owners have taken great pains to preserve the 200 year old character while still providing all the creature comforts (including wifi) that modern upscale travelers naturally expect. There are also several good golf courses nearby as well as some fine restaurants in nearby Uniontown. We will return next time we are in the area.

We stayed, for our second time, this past weekend. As always, the hospitality was excellent. The room was fine. We liked the room at the Harvest House better, but just because it was roomier for us. All rooms are clean and well maintained. We love the owners and will go back again !

We were planning to take a mini break from the normal busy life and read great things about Inne at Watson's choice on the web. It really turned out to be true. Very nice and peaceful place to spend a few days. Very serene and calm. The hosts were very gracious and the breakfast in the morning was also very good. The room we stayed in had an american theme and we liked it. We visited some popular destinations when we stayed there like Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob and Ohiopyle state park. These are all located within a few miles from this place and very convenient. This place is also close to some very good restaurants in the town so it is easy when you stay there to go have a good dinner or lunch. All in all, the place provided a very nice atmosphere where we could relax and enjoy!

The Inne at Watson's Choice is located on beautiful grounds with plenty of outdoor seating areas that offer a chance to enjoy the outdoors but still feel like you had some privacy even if other guests were nearby. The inn was very clean and decor was lovely. The food was outstanding! The bed was a little too firm for me but we still had a good nights sleep.

The house, grounds and setting are all beautiful and peaceful. Would love to stay a few days just to relax and/or with a group of friends or family. Their setup is perfect for that.

We have been coming for years and this visit was absolutely wonderful. We brought a lady with us who had never visited before and she thought she had died and gone to heaven. It was a lovely retreat. Nancy and Bill Ross were excetionally gracious to us. We got in very late and not according to plan at all. Two of the ladies we travelled with had speaking engagements in Pittsburgh. Due to unforseen traffic, an accident (not ours) and a severe thunder storm we got in late and I would imagine had to get the Ross's out of bed.....lovely breakfast the next morning and special as we had two diabetics with us. Nancy made them a low carb breakfast to order. Thank you! Again.

We had a wonderful two night stay. The grounds were very nice and the room was perfect. The innekeepers were very welcoming.

We were very impressed by the Inne and grounds. The rooms were spotless and quiet. We enjoyed our breakfast and bought a souvenir coffee mug. This visit was a small homecoming for me. Uniontown is my hometown and I enjoyed seeing the sites and visiting old ones. Coming back to Watson's Choice was a pleasure for us/

Nancy and Bill are great hosts. The Inn is charming and there is nothing like sitting out on the veranda for morning coffee. The grounds are well kept with numerous options for hiking, sitting by an evening fire, enjoying the sounds of the countryside. Friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to chat with at the beginning or end of your day. Great location to start out from for many activities and sights in the area. Watson's Choice was the right choice for us. 8-12

I enjoyed my stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice, and I would recommend the Inne to my friends and family. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The grounds surrounding the Inne were lovely and provided many opportunities to enjoy nature. One of my concerns involved signing a paper which among other things stated I could be financially responsible for replacing a washcloth if I had makeup residue left on it. The innkeepers also required everyone to be inside by midnight. Some people might have difficulty making that deadline if they are sightseeing in surrounding areas.

We found the inne to be above expectations and could not share any criticisms, 'cause we have none. Nancy and Bill Ross are very nice people and work hard to make a stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is wonderful!

My husband and I stayed one night at the Harvest House at the Inne at Watson's Choice. The owners were very friendly, but left us to ourselves with instructions to call if we needed anything. They provided a great list of dining choices with guest reviews of several restaurants and menus so that we could make our choice on where to eat for dinner without leaving our room. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and fresh. It's far enough removed (on 40+ acres) to be quiet at night, but close driving distance to several dining establishments and other areas of interest in the area (like Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob!). Just what we were looking for! It was our very first experience with a B&B and it exceeded our highest expectations! We will certainly recommend this B&B to friends (we actually already have!).

My mother and I stayed in the Sunflower Room in the Harvest House at the Inne at Watson's Choice. The Harvest House is a separate building from the Inne and offered a gathering room (a bit musty smelling) and a guest pantry which we utilized for coffee and ice. Our room was spotless and beautifully, thoughtfully decorated with antiques and, of course, a sunflower theme; very comfortable. The grounds were extremely well-maintained, with many welcoming outdoor seating/gathering areas, including a lovely, shaded wrap-around porch with rocking chairs, as well as a courtyard with many tables/chairs and a screened room. Had the weather not been so hot during our visit, we would have availed ourselves of the outdoor areas much more. We walked the grounds and took many pictures of the historic property. My only suggestion would be that guests be offered a choice at breakfast, or advise the guests of the menu thus giving guests an opportunity to decline rather than waste food. The only thing we were asked (on our breakfast card) was whether we ate pork or not. I didn't want to say no to bacon but was offered sausage (which I don't eat) both days of our stay. All in all, a wonderful, convenient place to stay. The Innekeeper's directions to Fallingwater were spot-on; but the travel time was under-estimated. Allow about an hour to get to Fallingwater if you have a tour time, as they want you to arrive about 15 minutes in advance.

It is easy to see the care and commitment the owners of the Inne at Watson's Choice and Harvest House B&B have making your stay a wonderful experience. Nice, very clean, large rooms, beautifully maintained grounds and great breakfast. We only stayed one night and were in and out a lot, but with the love and quality we saw, wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the experience even more. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

My wife and I had an awesome stay here as we toured Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. The room was comfortable, however the bed was a bit too hard in yhe "Pineapple Room". Our host at check in was gracios and helpful, however his wife (who made our delicious breakfast) was a bit rude/abrupt upon first meeting her at breakfast. Apparently the coffee cups in the room are for 7am-8am coffee ONLY. Our hostess greeted my wife with a repremand as she grabbed her cup away from her, waving it in her face, "these are the 7-8 cups!" . . . And that is all she spoke to us for the remainder of our stay :(. That said, the gentleman made up for what his wife lacked in hospitality and they keep an amazing, peaceful B & B!

We have often stayed at the Inne at Watson's Choice. Always immaculate, beautiful grounds, delicious breakfast. Someone recently wrote all positives regarding the inn but spoke unkindly regarding towels. The review seems to be a "double edge sword". There are always two sets of towels, beautifully displayed, soft and thick. If you need them replaced we just request them. An innkeeper needs to know if something isn't correct but do it kindly and in person. You don't know there is a concern if it isn't expressed. Sometimes it is hard for a person to not find fault. We can give a glowing compliment to start and then muddle it with unkind words that over shadows the good part.

Very lovely, charming, bed and breakfast. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice quiet place to stay. The breakfast is outstanding! The grounds are well kept and beautiful, very relaxing. I do recommend you bring your own bath towels and cloths if you stay more than one night.

We appreciate comments made by our guests. There are always two sets of towels, beautifully displayed, soft and thick. If you need them replaced you request them. Most inns allow for one set of linens especially if it is just a one night stay. An innkeeper doesn't know if you are unhappy with something unless you discuss it with us and give us an opportunity to help you. I am completely baffled by the review as it is highly praising in the beginning but spirals downward at the end without an explanation or ever discussing it with us.

Arrived late and they had no problem. We stayed in the Woodlands room and it was gorgeous. The bed very comfy and loved the huge jacuzzi tub! Sunday morning breakfast was AMAZING. Fresh fruits, juices and homemade pastries(apple tart, berry something, peach cobbler and some other things) Main course was homemade baked egg and large sausage! The location is out there but close enough to get to town for dinner. The view is beautiful and peaceful. There are lots of options to sit outside and relax! I would go again.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Inne (this was our second visit), and we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation, beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodations. Nancy and Bill have thought of everything, and we highly recommend the Inne if you really want to relax and enjoy peaceful surroundings. The grounds include an outdoor scheduled gazebo (lovely at night), a fire pit surrounded by comfortable adironak chairs, several places to snuggle up with a good book and a glass of wine and all the amenities you need for a relaxing time away from the hassles of the world. We recommend the Inne to all of our friends.

The innkeepers were very accommodating to our odd schedule. Lovely public rooms and our guest room was quite comfortable. Make sure to tour the expansive grounds.

This was our first time ever at a bed and breakfast. We were nervous because we are somewhat private and thought the B&B might be to "close". Nancy and Bill were very inviting. We stayed in the Four Seasons room. Beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had a great night's rest on the very comfortable king size bed. The whirlpool tub was perfect after our 3 hour caving adventure in Laurel Caverns...(recommended but lots of climbing up, over, and through) They had a dvd player and tv with cable (enough channels to find something for everyone). The price was perfect for how wonderful everything was. The absolute BEST part of all...Nancy's HOMEMADE breakfast. We had two mornings there and both of the 3 course breakfast's tasted out of this world, and were decorated like a professional chef. Our room was in the harvest house which has a gathering room with pantry. Mini-fridge, hot beverages and snacks were available round the clock for the picking. They had games, magazines, books etc for guests. They offered little surprises here and there. We went to 30 East Main for dinner on our second night. Food was ok, but pricey for the quality. We most likely won't return there. Fallingwater was nice and relaxing. A must see for all at least once in a lifetime. In all we can't wait to return to Watson's Choice. We weren't ready to leave. I would like to try other rooms just see what they're like, but would love to stay in the Four Seasons room again.

I booked a last minute stay for my wife's birthday. She tells me I'm going to have a hard time with future birthdays after setting the bar so high on this getaway.

This was my second visit to Watson's Choice, and it was every bit as comfortable and cozy as I remembered it to be. Dinner at Caileigh's, also for the second time, was also quite delightful.

This old farmhouse dating from 1769 looks out at the back on a sweeping vista of farmland, which adds to the calm and welcoming atmosphere. It was a perfect stopping off point, on the edge of the spectacular forests and hills of the Laurel Highlands. The room was comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and our hosts friendly and helpful in everything.

We visit Uniontown, Fallingwater, and other local sites about every other year, and the Inne at Watson's Choice has been our choice of where to stay for the past six visits. On our stay this past weekend we enjoyed spending time in the lovely gardens behind the Inne. The Stuffed French Toast at breakfast was amazing. Our room in the Harvest House was full of conveniences, and the gathering room adjacent to it was stocked with magazines, games, a jar of sweets, and a carafe of wine. We highly recommend the Inne as a jumping-off point from which to enjoy the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania!

Wonderful accommodations and pastoral setting....loved every second there. Spent the night after a concert at the State Theater in Uniontown - made for a PERFECT weekend. We're looking for an excuse to make a return trip! Absolutely the best place we've ever stayed. Terri & Chas - Ohio

Realy nice B&B. Clean and tidy with lots of stuff to look at. The suite was excellent. Loved the rural setting. The breakfast pancakes were the best ever! Will stay again on our next trip to PA.

This was a lovely inn off the 'beaten path.' We had just spent a few days in DC and chose to stay here for one night on our way home. We wish we would have allowed more time to stay and explore the area. Our hosts were gracious, the food was delicious and generous. Our accomodations were spotless and comfortable. Cannot wait to return!

My wife and I came to stay just for one night, having left our three children with a babysitter at home. The time we spent here was absolutely perfect. The accomodations blew us away - the attention to detail was astounding with regards to cleanliness, accomodations, food, decorations, everything. We intend to come back as soon as we can!

I chose to propose marriage to my girlfriend at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, and wanted to make the weekend extra special by staying at a nearby Bed & Breakfast. The folks at the Inne at Watson's Choice made sure we were welcomed & taken care of the entire stay & beyond. The breakfast was delicious & conversations were nice. A very good deal & a scenic landscape.

I have stayed here during the week for business for the past month. The innkeepers wait up for me to get in on Sunday evening, have a nice breakfast waiting for me at my appointed time, and the lights are on in my room at night, welcoming back for the evening. Any special requests have been honored and they are wonderful hosts. Since I'm not from the area, Bill and Nancy have been quite helpful with orienting me to local restaurants and sites. This has truly been a wonderful home away from home and it feels good to come in at night and feel like you're staying at a relative's home. Because I have come and gone for the past month, I've treated myself to staying in all the downstairs rooms; each has it's own unique spirit and different special amenities, i.e. John Watson room with the large bathroom and fantastic panaromic view of the countryside; Pineappple room with the working fireplace insert and view of the wraparound porch and the Flower Garden King with the fantastic view of the countryside. If I'm bold enough, I'll venture upstairs on future stays. Pineapple room was extremely nice and electric fireplace was surprisingly warm! Hosts were gracious and lovely. Breakfast was outstanding and breakfast with other guests was very enjoyable. What a wonderful respite we had at this Inne. Our room which was in the Harvest House was very comfortable, quiet and beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was not only delicious, but homemade by Nancy and her husband and it was filling and gorgeous. Homemade pastries filled the table by the kitchen. We were served a individual quiche, their own sausage, homemade Portuguese bread with wonderful strawberry preserves. Everything was perfect! Warm and outstanding hospitality.

Overnight stay for Business in Uniontown. Room was very cozy and comfortable, and impeccably clean. Innkeeper Nancy was a delight - graciously accommodated with a light breakfast of coffee, baked goods and fruit for a 6:30 am departure. Would love to stay again - and have more time to enjoy their trumpeted breakfast.

We enjoyed everything about this wonderful place. It is charming, comfortable, very clean and every detail has been considered. The breakfasts were outstanding. The best French toast we'd ever eaten! The inn is rich in history. We are eager to return.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Inn at Watson's Choice in Uniontown PA. What a nice experience! The room was wonderful and there are great places to visit and antique shops to visit. The owners Bob and Nancy could have not been any nicer and you receive a free breakfast. We spent the night for my birthday. It was a nice quite getaway. The food was great and the inn keepers were wonderful. Loved the milled cider:)

Hosts were very friendly. Facilities were good, including some simple kitchen facilities. Wine provided for our enjoyment which was unexpected. The garden was lovely, and had the weather been better we would have enjoyed sitting out with a glass of wine. Great stay and I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice for two nights in the Apple Orchard room. We took advantage of a package deal that included visits to both Falling Water and Kentuck Knob. The fall weather was outstanding.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Harvest House. There were 4 couples so we almost took over the entire house. Luckily, we had wonderful weather in Oct. We were able to sit in the courtyard for our dinners and enjoy the firepit in the evening. The B & B is very close to Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Follow the rules and enjoy the hospitality.

This was a very calm quiet place for our getaway. Bill is extremely helpful and friendly and Nancy fixed a fantastic breakfast complete with homemade sausage. Room was a bit small but other shared areas of the inn were spacious and comfortable for relaxing in the evening.

My Girlfriend and I spent a Couple Fall nights here and were very happy with our choice. It was conveniently located to the attractions we were destined but still enough out in the country to, "get away". We stayed in the older part of the Inn and the Ross's have done a tremendous job at restoring this beautiful home as well as the grounds. Had we just made this our destination we would have been more than happy. The breakfast was fabulous. "Nancy," it's alright to smile once in a while.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary by staying at a Bed and Breakfast for the first time. Watson's Choice was perfect. The attention to detail, in the rooms, the gathering areas, dining areas, outside gardens was extraordinary. The room we stayed in was perfect, clean and well kept. The owners, Nancy and Bill were wonderful. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many places to walk and sit. The Inne is so close to many attractions in the Laurel Highlands. It's only 1/2 hour to Fallingwater, Ohiopyle is close for hiking, rafting or biking. The inn is 15 minutes away from Uniontown mall and other major retailers, but you would never know it from the quiet, rural location. This was our first stay in a Bed and Breakfast and will not be our last. But, it will be hard to find one that is as good as The Inne at Watson's Choice.

The Inne was perfect for a fall foilage trip - close to Uniontown and nice dining, as well as Fallingwater. Give in your reservations early - as they were sold out for the weekend...

We had a wonderful time at the Inne at Watson's Choice! Our stay was very brief, but so memorable as it was the night of our wedding. The room was immaculate and so cozy and comfortable. I loved the furniture, jacuzzi tub, and robes to use. Also Breakfast was wonderful. I loved the homemade salsa and the thick toast. I felt so welcome, as if I had wandered into a time where life moved a little slower. Yet it was so close to where I lived and worked.

The premises along with the room were very enjoyable. The outside porches were wonderful to relax, read and take in the local beauty.

We arrived late in the rain and were greeted by innkeeper. Our room was of a nice size and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.

My first visit to Pennsylvania was a wonderful experience with the serene setting of Watson's Choice. The room was perfect; just like you were at home with all the amenities. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. The beautiful grounds served as a perfect setting for a quiet, relaxing weekend. The history gives you peace that only comes with time. Watson's Choice is close to everything and off the beaten path for tranquility. Our class reunion was a sucess because of Nancy and Bill Ross.

OUR STAY AT WATSON'S WAS PERFECT. The complex(rooms, house, outdoor facilities) were impeccable. Nancy & Bill were hospitable, helpful, and went out of their way to make our three day stay very enjoyable. We would definitely stay again should we revisit the area. It is convenient to Morgantown & Pittsburg.

We've stayed at the Inne at Watson's Choice twice in the past three years and were very pleased with our accommodations in the Four Seasons Room both times. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful and well-maintained grounds around the Inne and Harvest House are prescribed tranquility for any weary travelers. No two breakfasts were the same, and they were exceptional. Nancy and Bill are top notch innkeepers. They gave us many recommendations for sightseeing and dining out. The room was spacious, pretty, clean and quiet. The house and the gardens are well maintained and very pleasant. Nancy is a sympathetic, welcoming and obliging inkeeper. And what a delicious breakfast! A enjoying stay !

Felt like I was staying at my favorite Aunts home in Uniontown, PA. Warm and welcoming. Felt the love that went into the food as it came out of the kitchen and was served. Rooms had everything we needed and then some. Very clean and relaxing. Only wish I had more time to just chill in the beautiful gardens while I was there. Will definitely return one day.

The intuitive attention to detail clearly represents the Ross's hearts for service. The room was comfortable with amenities that met my needs, the breakfast was homemade and served to meet my schedule, the setting in the evening was quiet and comfortable with complimentary wine and access to sitting rooms and the wrap around candle lit porch. A real gem!

We enjoyed our stay at Watson's Choice. I chose a small room, but was impressed by the extras at Watson's Choice. The sitting rooms were stock with snacks, wine, and chocolates. The outdoor space was very inviting. Best of all, the breakfasts were varied, interesting, and yummy. They accommodated our dietary needs with variety and grace.

We were pleasantly surprised at what a delightful and relaxing experience we had. The B&B was 1769 (on the wagon) era and decorated appropriately. Our room was a bit smaller than appeared to be online, however it was very clean and fresh with nice linens and a comfortable bed. The innkeepers really went out of their way to anticipate any needs the guest might have. Other guest that visited during our stay were pleasant, interesting, respectful and some were returning guest. To me, that speaks for itself. Breakfast was delicious . Foods that were cold were chilled nicely and hot foods hot. The dining area was set up attractively. I especially enjoyed the morning breakfast as the innkeepers gave excellent service and were willing to accommodate special requests . It was also a time to have some conversation and get to learn a little more of their background and the history of the B&B. In the afternoon we made it a point to spend time exploring the grounds which had several little areas for relaxing. My husband always found the cookie jar that was set out each afternoon as was iced tea or lemonade.........a nice touch. Plenty of restaurants near by as well as things to do. I was disappointed with the two antique stores we visited :(. All in all it was a great experience and some place I think we will visit again and a again .

What a charming inne! We could only stay one night but had the opportunity to walk the grounds (cornfields, vistas, lovely gardens). Our room was the Apple Suite, on the first floor and cleverly decorated. It was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our breakfast, cooked and served by the owners, was outstanding. We met several other visitors in the dining room that morning; it was easy to talk with them from our table. The owners are wonderful hosts. We visited Falling Water while there and loved the surrounding countryside: the Laurel Highlands of PA. We would definitely return if we are in that area.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful and very primative home and thought it was very lovely and very clean. Nancy & Bill were very helpful in explaining the directions we needed for nearby areas. Their home, outbuildings and the courtyard are extremely neat and clean. We loved it.... wonderful experience. I arrived in Uniontown by way of ambulance due to a reaction to some medication and without transportation since my car had to be left where I was picked up by EMT. Nancy picked me & my teenage daughter up and gave us a ride to the Inne, provided us with the name & number of a local pizza delivery restaurant and told us not to worry about my car - we'd take care of that in the morning after having a decent meal and a good night's rest. The Sunflower room was comfortable, charmingly decorated and sparkling clean. We slept well and the next morning enjoyed a delicious breakfast of pancakes with natural maple syrup and homemade sausage and Nancy found a local courier who drove me to pick up my car. The driver was friendly and charged me a very reasonable rate for a pretty lengthy drive to my car. The rest of our stay was thankfully uneventful and very enjoyable. The hospitality and kindness shown to us by both Nancy and Bill speaks volumes to the importance they place on making sure their guests are well taken care of. They have a charming inn that I would recommend to anyone interested in traveling to the Laurel Highlands.

Only three others there so breakfast was hot and unrushed and tastefull, room was clean and comfortable.

Inne at Watson's Choice is just perfect in all aspects. Friendly and helpful innkeepers, immaculate and adorably decorated rooms, beautiful grounds, great breakfasts (the mixed berry cobbler was to die for) in a peaceful and serence setting. It is also conveniently located for all the local attractions and activities. It just doesn't get any better than this.

The grounds are "outstanding". There are all sorts of nooks and crannies, outside, to read or reflect in rain or shine. I could take a week-long retreat here and go no where else. The property as well as the house and rooms is just lovely and peaceful. We come to visit friends in the area but this B&B itself is a place to visit and stay and get refreshed.

We enjoyed our first night's stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice so much that we booked for a second night. Having enjoyed an excellent continental breakfast before our early departure to Fallingwater on day 1, the 'eggs Watson' were fabulous for day 2 breakfast. The countryside setting, the porch and garden (butterflies, hummingbords, red squirrels), lemonade and cookies were supplemented by Nancy and Bill's friendly helpful hospitality. We will be back!

Many B and B's advertise as "Secluded" - but Watson's Choice truly is. Bill and Nancy have done an incredible amount of work in creating their environment, and while there are neighbors, you are truly in your own world here. The grounds, indoors and out, are beautiful and meticulously kept. The hosts are gracious, friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the food was marvelous. Can you stay somewhere more cheaply? - certainly, but I would never trade it for a hotel. We are definitely recommending Watson's Choice to friends and family. Thanks, Bill and Nancy!

Our stay was wonderful including the delicious breakfast with fresh bakery and entree, thoughtful afternoon snacks, and the comfortable room. Bill and Nancy are perfect hosts making sure you have everything to enjoy your visit! The home and grounds were immaculate and very peaceful from the fish pond to the summer house. Plan your daily excursions to be in by midnight or ask if you can make arrangements. Unfortunately the windows cannot be opened to enjoy the fresh country air.

Looking for a place to stay near Ohiopyle for a white water rafting trip, I found the Inn on the Web. Having stayed at nearby Nemacolin Resort, I did not have high expectations for the Inn....boy I was wrong. The Inn is a captivating escape; not only from the hustle and bustle off Washington DC, but the "commercial" resort-like atmosphere of Namacolin. If you're looking for a quite, charming, impeccably decorated, get away with an attention to detail, the Inn is for you. A great value for the money, my wife and I are planning on returning for a visit with Nancy and Bill for our birthdays this fall.

We stayed overnight recently and had a wonderful time. The room was comfortable and attractive. Breakfast was delicious, and everyone was very nice. We'd come back again!

The grounds were magnificent. The inn was well maintained. The food was very good. Portions were plentiful. The innkeeper was not quick to share information. Questions had to be asked and sometimes answers were very brief.

Watsons Choice is a beautiful B&B. The property was beautiful and the surroundings were so very peaceful. Nancy Ross' breakfasts were out of this world. We enjoyed our stay and came home to California refreshed and relaxed. The only issue was the innkeeper Nancy. She was very grumpy and unfriendly, almost like we were intruding. Lots of rules to follow, but once you get past that it's ok. She did lock me out one night even though she said the doors don't lock until midnight. Luckily, the only other customer staying that night heard me and let me in, otherwise I would have been spending the night on the swing outside. I kept giving Nancy kudos on her breakfasts and how nice her place was but never once did she say thank you. Her husband Bill was very nice. It's a nice place to stay if you can put up with a grumpy innkeeper.

From the friendly service to the room, Watson's choice is the best Band B my wife and I have ever stayed at. We are plaing to return next year.

Lovely escape. The view of the sunset just gorgeous. Hosts made you feel very welcomed and at home. Delicious breakfast every morning. We would defintely stay at the Inne again.

The Inne was lovely. Rooms were comfortable. Unfortunately we had early reservations at Falling Waters and could not stay for the hot breakfast, but Nancy did have many homemade delicious foods for us to eat. She prepared a lovely bundt cake, and mixed berry cobbler and a beautiful fruit tray. Would loove to go back and spend more time in the lovely gardens.

My husband and I stayed at the Harvest House, which is a seperate building right behind the main Inne. It was lovely. The grounds we beautiful, the room was large, clean and well appointed. The Harvest House has wireless internet and television, which were a must for us. The entire stay was great. I would go back in a second.

While I marked met my expectations for most things, I have high expectations, so that's a compliment. Watson's choice is ina beautiful area with much to appreciate about the site.

We had two rooms in the Harvest House annex; both were great, very clean and comfortable. What sets this inn apart is the outdoor landscaping. Acres of land, numerous cozy places to sit and play games without bothering other guests/groups, fish pond, picnic bench, two person swings, a stand alone patio room with electricity and a ceiling fan......all made to encourage guests to relax and enjoy being outdoors. Did I mention the great breakfasts and private bathrooms in each room? We will definitely stay at the Inne at Watson's Choice whenever we are in the area.

Our tenth anniversary, spent in Uniontown and Ohiopyle, was delightful. With so many attractions in the area, it was the ideal location: 20-30 minutes from most things. The Harvest House at the Inne was a perfect combination of privacy and accessibility, with beautifully furnished rooms, thoughtfully supplied common rooms, and wonderful landscaping around the property. We loved it and have recommended it to friends and family. The owners were perfect hosts accommodating all our needs.

The Inne is tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable. The owners were friendly, helpful, and the breakfast was fabulous!!! We especially enjoyed walking over the grounds and sitting on their swings to listen to the birds, chatting and viewing the pretty country side. A great interlude during a day filled with wedding activities!

Surprisingly quiet even so close to Uniontown. Grounds very well tended. Owners evidently aim to provide a pleasurable experience and it was.

Room was a little small but it was the least expensive room so I guess I expected it. However, everything else about the Inn was outstanding.

Nancy and Bill are lovely hosts; Nancy was born in the same house, so she knows the area and the culture. Very quiet; wonderful to sit outside and watch the birds and rabbits in the field that stretches out behind the Inne.

We stayed in a room in the Harvest House part of this bed and breakfast, and it was excellent. The room was great, the whirpool tube we used twice. The best thing is the grounds though - they have done a fantastic job and it is so nice just to sit outside on the chairs or swings watching the sunset.

Nice quite and relaxing place with all the little touches throughout. The rooms are nice, but the grounds are even better. Many little corners both inside and outside to sit and relax. Breakfast also was great! Plenty of good food for breakfast (homemade dishes) Highly recommend it!

This is a lovely, peaceful Inne, located out in the countryside. There are three or four cozy spots outside (one enclosed) to sit, read and relax. The breakfast is suberb and Bill and Nancy are thoughtful hosts. We've visited several B&B,s, but we return to this one every year. This is a great place for a rest - inviting quiet places inside as well. Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. We never tire of this oasis.

We have stayed in many B&B's throughout the years, but we have returned to this particular inn many times. It is simply a wonderful experience. Each room has a delightful decor and is very comfortably accommodated with a private bath. The gardens areas provide a tranquil and restful setting, and the porch and outdoor sitting areas are equally inviting. The bountiful breakfasts offer a variety of delicious specialties created by Nancy. The service and hospitality is outstanding. Bill and Nancy are gracious hosts and offer assistance with directions, area attractions, restaurants, and local history. I was whisked away here for my 40th birthday surprise. What a beautiful property and a very nicely done Inn. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely GORGEOUS grounds/gardens/santuaries set up for the guests to enjoy!!! Unfortunately we did not have enough time to thoroughly enjoy as we were visiting the area for a very short stay. Rooms were immaculate and service was impecable. We would have liked to open the windows for a breeze into our room; however, we would have set off their alarm (alot of antiques within the house!) Innkeepers had some stringent rules due to recent problems, so if you go, please respect what is not yours. I would have liked to have had a choice for breakfast main dish - did not care for syrupy fruit garnish on top of souffle. Overall, would do again to sway w/my husband in one of their many outside swings while listening to the birds!!!!!!!

We stayed for 2 nights. Our experience pretty much mirrored many of the comments on TripAdvisor. In other words, the room was lovely (and VERY clean) and the breakfast was great. The hosts are serviceable, but I would not describe them as upbeat.

This is a wonderful B & B in a beautiful area of PA. Everything was done to perfection including quality of room and especially service. It is an excellent preparation for a visit to Falling Water and Kentuc Knob. The Owners are friendly and very accommodating.

We love staying at the Inn at Watson's Choice--we stayed at the Harvest House on their property and it was just what we needed. This is our third visit and aside from the wonderfully appointed rooms and amenities, Nancy prepares the best breakfasts: homemade buttermilk pancakes, sausage and accompaniments. We'll be back!

We thought this was a very good value compared to staying in a chain motel. The room was comfortable and relaxing. It was a pleasant end to our trip. Loved the breakfast. It was relaxing to sit and read with no TV. We hadn't stayed in a B&B for a while because of the cost but this reminded us how nice they can be. It was a lot nicer and more personal than chain motel.

We were sorry our stay was so short. Everything was very comfortable and welcoming. Would love to return some day and explore the area.

Beautiful pastoral views. Well appointed, comfortable rooms with private bath. Minutes from Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water & Kentuck Knob. Less than an hour from Pittsburgh Most hospitable hosts, Nancy & Bill Ross, could not have been more pleasing or more informative of events in the area. Breakfast was a gourmet surprise every morning. I'm still trying to copy the stuffed french toast! Don't miss the oportunity to treat yourself to this wonderful experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. Nancy and Bill were very nice! The room was comfortable and the Inne was close to all the activities we wanted to do. We went and toured Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater. We will stay again!

Inne at Watson's Choice was more than I expected. The couple that runs it are very friendly and very helpful. The decor is warm and charming. The food was phenomenal. Conveniently located in a quiet country setting just 20 minutes from Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural masterpiece "Falling Water". The B&B is spotlessly clean, casual and comfortable. There is plenty of privacy if you want it and nicely appointed common areas to read, socialize, or chat about the day's excursion. Nancy provides a fabulous breakfast of wholesome food made with fresh ingredients. She served something different every day. All equally delicious and satisfying. Bill does an awesome job of maintaining the property and landscaping their picturesque country location. Our hosts were helpful with suggestions for shopping and dining and provided maps and directions. It exceeded our expectations for accommodations close to Falling Water and Kentuk Knob. We enjoyed the hospitality and inn so much we extended our stay. Thank you Nancy & Bill. We'll be back.

5 couples met at this B&B and spent a wonderful weekend relaxing and visiting together. we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. we are looking forward to returning in the Fall, hopefully with one or two other couples who couldn't make it this time.

We were treated to a lovely stay in a historic house with a beautiful setting. I begged for the recipe for the stuffed French toast but Nancy wouldn't budge except to say that it's made with croissants. Good cooks are entitled to their secrets.

The room was very cozy and clean. Nancy was more than helpful with information about the area resturants and things to do and directions to all of them. Both Bill & Nancy were friendly. The food was VERY good and very plentiful!

Watson's choice inn is a fabulous place for a quiet getaway in rural southwestern PA. The inn keepers were friendly and welcoming, rooms were clean, service was tremendous, price was resonable and setting was cozy.

The Inne at Watson's Choice was the perfect choice for our St. Patty's Day getaway. We were pleased from the minute we pulled in the driveway. The property is beautiful, clean and Nancy and Bill have paid great attention to detail. Nancy is a wonderful cook, going out of her way to accomodate my food allergy to eggs! Our stay at the Inn at Watson's Choice was wonderful. A great place for couples of any age to relax and unwind and enjoy the surroundings with each other. The rooms are very cozy not to mention cleanly presented, they are done in themes which I could Imagine takes a great deal of of vision and time to personally add that special touch. The meals were prepared with alot of thought and consideration. The property is beautiful (plus 35 acres), we immediately noticed the attention to detail and really appreciated it after we viewed the photo album of the home's restoration. Breakfast was gourmet quality. Will definitely return.

We have been to the Inne several times and are thrilled and delighted every time we walk in the door, no matter the season! This time we had the most gorgeous "white Christmas" which made our stay all the more lovely. Bill and Nancy are terrific hosts and work hard to please. The food is fabulous, the beds are incredible and the detail in each room is meticulous. If you like old-fashioned charm, stay just once and you will be hooked!

We enjoyed our stay in the Harvest House. Make sure you reserve one of the king bedrooms with jacuzzi tub. All was very clean and nice. We rented a Redbox film in town. The TV screen is a little small and sat in an armoire that blocks the view. It was very pretty outside with the snow. You will not be able to set the temperature in your room, but the hosts are very accomodating and will change it for you as requested.

Very nice environment, facility, location. Great Breakfast and innkeepers. Will go to again.

We've stayed in many B&B's and the Inne at Watson's Choice could be the nicest one yet. Bill and Nancy are wonderful inkeepers who truly make you feel like you're a guest in their home. The breakfasts are AMAZING and the home is lovely, exceptionally clean and decorated beautifully. If this B&B were in a more popular area it would be impossible to get into & cost significantly more. It was a great home base for a getaway weekend exploring 2 Frank Lloyd Wright homes (Fallingwater & Kentuk Knob) which are a short drive away, as well as the beautiful state parks in the area. I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.
