    An old world style country inn overlooking the 17th green of Toftrees golf course offers the comforts and charm of a Scottish Country House. 21 large airy rooms including 2 elegant suites, all with private baths and furnished with a collection of beautiful antiques. Oak paneled library with crackling fire is the gathering place for good conversation, a good book and pleasant libation from the Thistle bar. Rockers on long porches beckon you outside with your morning coffee or tea. Delightful luncheons and savory dinners are served in the dining room. Complimentary full breakfasts are served daily.     Upon arrival until our departure the Carnegie House was truly a luxury experience. We were warmly greeted and taken to our third floor suite, which was tastefully decorated and so clean and perfect. We had the pleasure of dining that evening and were treated again to a very luxury experience. It is truly the best kept secret. They will be opening a spa later this year and I know that we will return many times. The only constructive comment is the breakfast menu is weak and be sure to check your bill as ours was not correct. Otherwise, the best inn
