Built in 1918 this classic Georgian style mansion was home to the family of Daniel Zimmerman. The building consists of a central structure with asymmetrical north and south wings. The central portion includes a living room, dining room, drawing room and a marbled entrance hall. These rooms, paneled in native woods, have the original silver and brass wall fixtures, crystal and goldleafed chandeliers, elegant moldings and three fireplaces. A magnificent staircase leads to eleven bedrooms on the second and third floors. Opened in 1993 as The Inn at Georgian Place, this Bed & Breakfast offers deluxe accommodations and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Each bedroom has a private bath, telephone and a TV with a VCR. A gourmet breakfast awaits you in the morning in the beautiful SunRoom. The Inn opens daily for cocktails, lunch, and afternoon tea.
