My boyfriend and I wanted to go away for a quiet weekend and stumbled upon the Shawnee Falls Studio, Gallery & Guesthouse online. Gwendolyn and Bill, the owners, were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything it could be; their friendly and helpful demeanor added a personal touch a hotel doesn't provide. From the scrumptious breakfasts to helping us figure out where to hike to the backyard oasis with waterfall and hot tub, our weekend couldn't have been better.

The Shawnee Falls B&B along with Gwendolyn & Bill far exceeded our expectations. The house is a beautifully preserved gem, while the hosts (along with the two gorgeous Bernese dogs) are the nicest people you'll ever meet. The room was very comfy (we stayed at the waterfall room), waterfall view amazing and 4-course breakfast out of this world (Gwendolyn really puts her heart into her cooking). Even though we stayed for only 1 night it felt like so much longer. We took a couple mile hike on a nearby trail, enjoyed the garden with hot tub and waterfall view, toured Gwendolyn's art galler, ate at a nearby restaurant and relaxed in the comfy living room. Did I mention the price is unbeatable? You cannot get such great value for this price anywhere else. We will definitely be back. -Paul and Anna

We had a fabulous night at Shawnee Falls, the hosts were incredible...very welcoming. Zermont and Harley are awesome! Gwendolyns art is incredible, and Bills guitar playing was a treat.

    Wonderful place!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary in Oct. and we met Gwen and her husband and they were wonderful! The breakfasts were fantastic, but the art work and the library screams to be seen and looked through it is just that cool! Anyone wanting a place to stay, drop by here! It is worth it!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the B&B a few weeks ago after deciding to make a weekend out of a trip to visit a puppy breeder in PA. It was our first time at a B&B and Gwendolyn and Bill exceeded our expectations. From the perfect beachy/cozy decor, to falling asleep listening to the waterfall outdoors, to the incredible breakfast on the porch the next morning we never wanted to leave. We are already planning more trips down to the B&B for romantic getaways or just for a weekend when we need a break from NYC. Don't forget to check out Gwendolyns studio for gorgeous artwork too. We enjoyed our trip so much and just can't say enough great things about Shawnee Falls.
