Tucked away in the "South Side", perhaps Pittsburgh's most eclectic, diverse and dynamic neighborhood, is a delightful 1862 Italianate style Victorian brick town house that, since 1996, has been Morning Glory Inn. You will succumb to a wonderful blending on "old and new" that is cozy and comfortable...and one block off "America's Longest Business Victorian National Historic District" it's walking to restaurants, jazz clubs,art/antique gallerys and "nich" shops.

just ok

The breakfasts we're phenomenal, our bed was very comfortable, and though the b and b was clean, we felt the place needs a complete overhaul.

Very pleasant visit

beautiful location with charm

Such a beautiful location, in the summer the greenery on the patio is amazing. Twinkling lights and such a private location , you wouldn't even know you are in the middle of a city. The owners are very thoughtful and the food was amazing. A wonderful alternative to an impersonal hotel room.

charming place

My husband couldn't stop saying he wanted to live in a place like this all weekend. Very charming rooms and back patio with garden feel.

Anniversary visit

4.8 on September 03, 2013

We wanted to come to Pitt to celebrate our anniversary! We were able to get reservations, and much to our surprise and delight, The Morning Glory not only gave us a bottle of champagne, but also they upgraded our room without charging us more $$$$. The breakfasts were wonderful!

This was a great stay. The place was so comfortable and beautiful. You need to stay with people

Nice place!

The B&B was beautiful and waffles for breakfast was really good. The room wasn't really worth $200+ for just a sitting area and stairs up to attic loft. The gentleman that oversaw our stay recommended a wonderful place for dinner as well!

Lovely Inn in an Eclectic Location

Right in the heart of South Flats, this Inn is a perfect jumping off point for exploration. Dave is a wealth of local knowledge and his suggestions for places to eat and activities in the area were spot on. I would definitely return to this lovely inn. Sherry on the balcony overlooking the courtyard was a plus!

Great stay!
