My daughter was turning 10 and we wanted to make it special for her. We received special permission for her to stay. We arrived and Joseph was absolutely wonderful. My daughter wanted the pippin room on the third floor. And everything was perfect. We only stayed one night for a play but it was exceptional! Breakfast was outstanding and they did not rush us. I would definitely recommend.

This was our second visit. Our room was incredibly comfy, and the atmosphere of the Inn matched the room with its warmth. Heidi was an attentive host, and helped us with various details of our stay. We love the personal touches that the Inn provides.

My husband and I need a place to stay while our daughter was attending the sleeping bag weekend at Carnegie Mellon, so…being fans of B & Bs we went on line to find an inn in the area. We found the Inn on Negley and were very happy with the accommodations. We were warmly greeted as we entered, given a tour of the public spaces and shown our room. The Cortland Suite is beautifully decorated. and the amenities top notch. Using the recommended restaurant list, we made reservations at Tambellini's. We were pleasantly surprised--the meal was outstanding and we even an opportunity to speak with the chef.Although we stayed only one night, we will definitely return if we are in Pittsburgh again.

We always try to stay at the Negley Inn in Pittsburgh. Usually it is booked but we have stayed here many times. It is a jewel in Shadyside. From the moment you arrive to departure, the staff is friendly, courteous and attentive. The Inn is beautiful and each room has it's own personality. We have stayed in most of the rooms and each one is perfect. The other ammenties (tea, breakfast and wine service) are also a welcomed addition. The chef is great. I also like the bathroom toiletries. My favorite. I woud highly recommend this Innn in Pittsburgh.
