    Great Weekend in Philly

    July 28, 2009

My husband and I stayed at Penns View for 3 nights and couldn't have been more pleased. The room was CLEAN, nicely decorated, CLEAN, bathroom was CLEAN. Lynn and Adrienne at the desk were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nicely presented and more than we thought would be available. Food and fruit was fresh. So convenient to buses, the trolley and MANY historic sites. We had a wonderful w/e in Philly at Penns View and would recommend it to anyone also visiting the city of Philadelphia. Penns View Inn from a Philadelphian

    September 20, 2008

Panorama Restaurant was wonderful. Don't know why I never went there when I lived in Philly. Missed a terrific dining experience. The Inn was very comfortable. Our room was tastefully decorated - nothing luxurious - but it was located very conveniently, near transportation, dining, movies, and within walking distance to center city shopping. It was quiet, even being in center city. We would stay there again.

    Great experience

    March 13, 2008

It was nice to stay there even though we felt a little expensive. Anyhow we enjoyed it a lot. Only thing we did not like was that there was no parking lot. So we had to pay $20 for one-night stay. But overall it was so great. Very kind room service.

    Penn's View Rocks

    February 07, 2007

The Penn's View is an outstanding value. It is very customer friendly and the staff extends itself for you. Rooms are beautiful and provide great comfort. The Wine bar is an esperience in itself and the bartenders have great knowledge about all the 120 wines available. The food is the restaurant appeals to every appitite and if you go away hungry it is your own fault. This is the only B & B I would ever consider staying at while in Philly.

    Great time in Philly

    December 19, 2006

Historic charm, comfortable guest room; friendly, informal atmosphere; lovely dining room where the breakfast buffet is set out, and where lunch and dinner are served. Appealing bar, too. Parking lot next door, and close to exit/entrance to I-95. Good insulation kept traffic noise to a minimum. Great restaurants and all historic attractions within an easy walk; great little shops in the neighborhood, too. Would definitely return/recommend.
