The grounds outside our 1830's houses are always in bloom this time of year!
The Sitting Area of the Cabernet Suite gives you plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy a snack or glass of wine.
The Chancellor Suite boasts two fireplaces; your own sitting room to stretch out in and an extra large bathroom!
The Library provides a comfortable place to relax with a glass of local wine, read the newspaper, play one of those board games you've wanted to try...or meet new friends.
Both mansions boast curving staircases built in the 1830's using no nails.
Sit on a rocker with a glass of our Lake Erie wine, and enjoy the sunshine!
The bedroom of the elegant Cabernet Suite has a unique corner fireplace and built in desk.
Enjoy a cup of coffee and the morning paper in the Parlor!
Enjoy our renowned four course breakfast in either the cheery sunporch or serene dining room.
Surprise your sweetie with rose petals, or breakfast in bed, or wine and chocolate..shown in the Concord Room

Our side-by-side mansions, built in the early Victorian Age, have withstood the test of time. First designed as private homes, these historical properties have since served as a stagecoach tavern, professional offices, a primary school and now a distinctive bed & breakfast. Our beautifully decorated rooms and suites, named after different varieties of grapes, are yours to enjoy as you would you own home. You may spend evenings in the quiet of your room, or visit with other guests in the parlor and sitting rooms. On wintry days, gourmet breakfasts are served in the dining room with its warm and cheering hearth. In summery weather, our patio and airy sun porch are delightful spots to start and end each day.

My girlfriend and I stayed here on a 'mini' vacation during the Wine & Cheese Festival. We were greatly impressed with the rooms, hospitality and especially the food. Each morning the 3 course breakfast was superb. The homemade cookies in the common room were a perfect late night snack. The location is prime for anyone looking to tour the North East Wineries. The North East downtown scene, while small and closes at 6 pm, is worth a stroll through.
Innkeeper Response
We are so glad that you enjoyed your time with us! We are a small town and like it that way...but you missed our First Friday on Friday night when you were here--the sidewalks and streets were buzzing!4.8 out of 5Great time in North Pa wine country
April 24, 2013
The rooms were so well decorated. Not overdone like some Victorian houses. The food was absolutely amazing and large quantities were served. The staff was helpful and available without being intrusive. Would definitely stay here again if going back to wine country of Erie. The baking was some of the best I have had, including cookies available for snacking.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Niagara room. All the little "extras," such as the library full of games and movies, to a visit from the resident cat, made the trip all the more special. The breakfast included coffee cake, fresh rolls, fruit, and a choice of a pancakes and sausage or an egg casserole -- everything tasted amazing. Thanks for a great stay!

Spent the weekend out in North East as a mini-vacation, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grape Arbor. Both my girlfriend and I were greeted warmly and our time there was everything the pair of us wanted and more. The food was fantastic, the house warm, welcoming, and classically beautiful, and the staff was friendly. We hope to stay again sometime in the next year.
