A beautiful B & B in beautiful New Hope. The staff was very nice and accomodating. For breakfast, they had a continental service, plus a small menu. We thought this was nice as it gave choices, rather than just plunking something in front of you like most B & B's. The room was small and the pillows awful. I would bring my own pillow if I went there again.

the location and grounds were the highlight, absolutely beautiful. the food was unexpectedly very good, different and interesting. Would difinately recommend this cosy B&B.

I would more than suggest to stay at HollyHedge Estate. The innkeeper JC is outstanding. Between the amazing service, food, cleanliness, and awesome atmosphere it was one of the best stays ive had.

We stayed one night in celebration of our anniversary because we were married at Holly Hedge three years ago. It was an amazing wedding and, a always, our expectations were exceeded!

Nestled in the quiet outskirts of Bucks County, just over the bridge from Stockton, NJ, HollyHedge provides the perfect weekend escape. Taking over an Inn for a wedding could potentially overwhelm a staff, but this staff offered up some of the best hospitality I've had in years along with an amazing gourmet breakfast (Best was the sinful clocolate french toast and mushroom, spinich and brie frittata). Room #6, my room for the weekend, was comfortable and clean with its own outdoor access. Since we had so many rooms booked I got to see many of them. My favorites include, Room #1- cute, charming and cozy, #9 & 10 share a sitting room but are big and have working fireplaces but its #11 that is a private romantic haven. The grounds are beautiful and it is an easy drive for an afternoon of lunching and shopping in Lambertville, NJ and New Hope, PA. Another wonderful feature is the complimentary, tea, coffee and cocoa along with an assortment of muffins that are avalible downstairs for you to help yourself to at all hours and a comfortable living room to wait in or for an evening chat with friends. It was a wonderful weekend and I would certainly think of returning for another.

The HollyHedge Estate is an absolutely beautiful well run, well kept estate. Our room was large, clean, and had a lovely canopied bed. JC was gracious and quite accomodating. I have many allergies- including foods- and JC was willing and able to find out what I could and could not eat and then prepare what was agreeable for me. We enjoyed feeding the goats and touring the estate. All in all it was a wonderful 2 days!

We've been to HollyHedge several times over the last few years and always enjoy our stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and welcoming. We're already planning our next visit! Oh ... make sure you stop by and visit with the goats. They are always so sweet!

My wife is British and we have stayed in B&B's through out Europe and the U.S. as well. We hardly ever pay more than $200 a night. First the location is great. It is very close to the village of New Hope and the surrounding area is really beautiful with dreamy houses everywhere. Pulling into HollyHedge you can clearly see they take very good care of the grounds, more on that later. We were met warmly by JC the inn keeper. JC is a very good in keeper and that makes a big difference with a B&B. He took time with us and made sure we had what we needed and timed a fire in the fireplace based on when we might be home after dinner. The front room is well decorated and cozy. We were taken to our room and this is where I feel there is room for improvement. The room was clean but beside the bed it was subpar. For instance. The carpet looks worn. Ours had a dated redish/mauve carpet that had a few bleach spots near the door. The celling fan was the cheapest home depot offers. The furniture was old but not the kind you say "Oh, that's a nice antique". the window dressing and curtain rods were cheap. Everything was clean and that is a big positive! Now the bathroom. Cheap fixtures and not a whole lot of attention detail. For instance there are three unsightly plastic covers in the bathroom. They are there to for the possibility of servicing the plumbing, but there are a lot better ways of doing this besides 18"x18" white plastic over tiling. One of the covers was clear allowing you to see the wall studs and plumbing. We had a gander at the rest of the rooms. All in all I really think there is a lack of detail and style to the rooms. Like I stated I think a renovation could turn this B&B from a 5 to a 10 with minimal costs. Which brings me to the comment on the grounds. The grounds are nice and the front rooms as well because I think this houses bread and butter is in WEDDINGS, not so much the B&B. And that my friends is what it all boils down to!

My stay this past weekend at HollyHedge Estate was just perfect! JC the innkeeper was great. The food was unbelievable! I cannot wait to come back with my family in November for my wedding!

We had a great stay. Service was great, the inn keeper JC was very attentive to every thing we needed. I love the place, very cozy and romantic.

J.C. was a wonderful host. He was welcoming and cheerfully took care of our special requests. We love Holly Hedge as it has real wood burning fireplaces. The Inn is a beautiful, romantic getaway.

My gf and I wanted to celebrate our v-day in style so after googling bed and breakfast near new hope pa I found this one to exceed my expectations and decided to give it a try , and I'm so happy I did! Amazing rooms and the feeling of Going home and having mom near by To take care of you! Loved our stay and well be Booking again in April with friends!!!

We stayed at the HollyHedge in the offseason on a cold, rainy, icy night in February. When we arrived a fire was roaring in the fireplace, and I instantly felt better. But that was just the beginning. We then helped ourselves to complimentary brownies (very fudgie!), hot chocolate, and strange but delicious curry, cinnamon and sugar coated pecans. We stayed in room 9, an upgrade because the inn wasn't full. JC, the innkeeper, took us upstairs and - wow. Huge bed, fireplace, private bath, sitting chairs. I brought us some more of the aforementioned treats and two cups of tea to our room then lit the fire - we were set for the rest of the day until dinner. The next morning we helped ourselves to a terrific breakfast, with made to order omelets. Aside from the food and accommodations, what really made our stay memorable was JC. This is exactly the type of person you want as an innkeeper. He was SO nice (and it wasn't the fake niceness that is obligatory at big hotels); he looked up movie theaters for us when we mentioned we might want to do that, he helped find us a restaurant for dinner, and just in general was a pleasure to talk to and be around. You can tell he enjoys his job. Lastly, on the morning we left we hand-fed some bagels and orange slices to the family of goats who live on the grounds of the inn. What a treat (for the goats and for us!). HollyHedge offers everything I could possibly want for a romantic, mellow get-a-way.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the HollyHedge Estate. The innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and cozy. Breakfast in the morning was scrumptious. I look forward to staying at HollyHedge in the future.

This was our first stay at HollyHedge and we plan on coming back as soon as we can! The property was absoulutely beautiful, especially with the snowfall. JC, the Innkeeper, was incredibly sweet, helpful, fun and a pleasure to stay with! Our room was so cozy and warm; we loved every minute of it!

My wife and I were married on New Year's Eve and had a mini-honeymoon at Hollyhedge. Our stay was GRREAT!!!! When we checked in JC told us he will bring Champagne, strawberries and brownies over for the special occasion. The breakfast in the morings were excellent!!! We stayed in room #15, it was a cottage with a private eneterance. Very homey with beautiful with stone walls. We couldn't have asked for anything more than what Holyhedge had to offer. Definitely a perfect get away!!!!!

Beautiful atmosphere and claasic B&B feel. The grounds are lovely and the facility is intriguing. Great to return to after 16 years! The fireplace is a must!

This estate is historic and beautifully kept. We stayed in Room 6, which is quaint and located at the back of the house. Our check-in only took a moment and the staff was very courteous. There was complimentary coffee and desserts placed out, which we enjoyed in the front living room. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious, and again, the staff was great. We toured the grounds as it is often used for weddings and found it to be absolutely perfect for an event. I would highly recommend staying at Holly Hedge. Also, it is only 3 miles from downtown New Hope and about the same to Peddler's Village...both of which are great to visit.

The property is quaint but the room we requested was not available due to a leak in the roof. We were given another room and complimentary wine and cheese plate. The wood-burtning fireplace was nice but the room lacked "warmth". They needed more comfortble linens, pillows and throw blankets. The bed was not very comfortable and squeaked loudly. The breakfast was dissappointing, as all of the muffins and pancakes seemed to made from the same salty batter.

The innkeeper was very pleasant and accomodating as were the rest of the staff. The setting was lovely and convenient. However it was off putting to have an envelope in the room asking for a tip for the room staff as they did not even empty the trash or make our bed during our 3 night stay! Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves very much. Would return.

My wife and I were married at the HollyHedge in 2009, and spent several days afterwards there enjoying the area and vowed that we would come back one day for our anniversary. We decided to do it for our 1st anniversary and it was fantastic! The staff and the owners are amazing - super friendly, helpful and always reachable but never hovering. The property itself is possibly the most beautiful plot of land I've ever had the privelege of standing on. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you are in the area, I know we plan on coming back year after year!

This was an excellent value. Beautiful estate, warm and friendly innkeepers, comfortable rooms and tasty breakfast. I would definitely book again!

Beautiful grounds. Nice that was a little bit outside of New Hope. Very quiet and relaxing. Great breakfast. Only complaint was that in the room description it was highlighted that it had a working fireplace. While its true there was a fireplace we were unable to use the fireplace because the chimney had not been cleaned in months.

My first time staying at a B&B and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The Innkeepers were very nice and helped inform of the best places to go see in the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

First time in a B&B and it was wonderful. Innkeeper Trisha treated us like royalty. Yummy breakfast. The chef, and Debbie, the housekeeper, were very friendly. And so beautiful in the snow. Looks like a picture. Can't wait to return.

We had a relaxing weekend. The grounds were snow-covered, but still beautiful. Accomodations were roomy and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing!

A mere 10 minute drive is what separates New Hope and Peddlers Village from this gorgeous country estate. Clean rooms, great service. Loved the freshly baked goods and warm cider/coffee in the foyer. Breakfast selection was great, even included fresh pears grown on the grounds. Bathrooms (in room 2, where we stayed) needed a few basic ameneties -- namely a blow dryer and more shelving! There was really no place to put anything down in the bathroom. Also, the plumbing was a bit old -- shower kept switching from hot to cold water, which was annoying, but not a deal breaker

Just leaving this incredible piece of heaven, makes me sad.Pulling in we were in awe. The grounds are well kept, they keep them not over manicured like a country club, but natural like an estate in the country. The inn keeper said the owners were very "hands on", do all the work and upkeep themselves, and the pride is in the property and it showes. WILD FLOWERS EVERYWHERE, INSIDE & OUT!Fountains, adirondack chairs all over, So peaceful! There are outer buildings, they let us walk around & explore. Thank-You to an employee named Norm for taking time out of working for the history. A young man so delicatly fixing a stone wall, with the same stones, by the time he was done, it looked as it should, not like a "patched up" wall.And the inn, we cant say enough about.The inn keeper, Such hospitality! A great smile, always there when you needed her, and gave us the much needed privacey some B&B s forget to give you. At checking in, asked us our needs, showed us around, snacks & drinks she kept stocked . Fruit ,cider, coffee goodies. and by the way gave us a free upgrade for our anniv. very respectful to our privacy, yet always there when needed. She seemed to be a jack of all trades, working everywhere, like the owners, very "hands on" also.The rooms were very clean,I had on white socks, and they stayed white, fat fluffy towels, bright white soft sheets. (300 count, i peeked)And the friendliest houskeeper! the breakfast in the morning, A big menu, A most polite lady served us named Sue, lots of choices along with lots of fruit, homemade strawberry & peach jellys,a homemade apple cream cheese pastry to die for ,pumpkin soufflee.the best staff Ive ever seen in a B&B. They all spoke with such pride and worked so hard, it goes to show you the diffrence it makes in a B&B that is run by "very hands on owners" . We can not wait to return, again & again & again!

This is our 5th time staying at Holly Hedge. We love coming back and seeing the friendly staff. It is a great place to rejuvenate your spirit.

I reserved Room #3 online and had never been to this area of PA before. I was pleasantly surprised with everything in the area. The Inn was old and beautifully maintained inside and out. The Innkeepers were very helpful and courteous. The free snacks at the service table near the entrance with the homeade out of this world brownies was a cozy touch. It almost felt like we were walking into our families home. Out room was private and even had a private entrance. The book of "things to do" in our room was super helpful with directions and suggestions for sightseeing, dining and fun activities in the area. The breakfast in the morning was perfectly country. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a night away as this Inn will bring you back to the feelings of being a kid coming home for the holidays.

I'm reluctant to share too much about this place because people may flock to it and we wont be able to enjoy the wonderful hospitality and the peace and quiet of this terrific place. Great value for the money!
