    Photo Album

Your private Tree House country cottage has loft king bedroom, AC in summer, 7 skylights including a large one right over the bed, 1.5 baths, 3 sets of french doors, full kitchen overlooking large deck and creek. Hearty country breakfast is served in owner's home, 100 feet away. The Log Cottage is a private cottage built of authentic antique logs and features a king loft bedroom, private bath, full kitchen and living room with TV, WiFi. Mature Oak and Ash trees shelter the cottage in this rural natural environment. Parking is just steps to the left.
The Tree House spacious living room has two sets of French Doors, one toward the Log Cottage and one looking toward the deck and creek. Please note the stairway on left. It is steep but safe with multiple hand-holds, like a yacht companionway. The Log Cottage living room backs up to a complete kitchen. The stairs (upper left in photo) take you to a loft king bedroom & private shower bath. Satellite TV and WiFi are provided. A satisfying country breakfast is served in the owner's home 100' away. Air conditioning upstairs and down assures summer comfort; a gas heater provides heat as needed.
The Tree House full kitchen includes this peaceful dining area with views of the deck and creek as seen through the french doors here. You could bake a pizza if you choose to stay in; a micro-wave and coffee maker provide more options. A hearty breakfast is served in owner's home, 100 feet from the cottage, or you may prepare your own meals in the cottage. The Log Cottage atmosphere is snug and secure; the authentic antique hand-hewn logs are visible both outside and indoors. A gas stove and AC give climate control while a complete kitchen and TV provide further amenities.
The Tree House has a large skylight right over the king bed making you feel you are in the trees. On the right are closet doors with mirrors reflecting the light and leaves. In warm weather you can open the window and hear the nearby creek. 2 more skylights and a shower bath are just steps away. The Log Cottage King bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and is more spacious than the photo reveals. Antique trunks to set your luggage on and AC are provided. A shower bath is just steps away.
The Little Muncy Creek is a healthy stream. It is about 30' across here, and supports many forms of wildlife, even native trout. The hostess, an environmental teacher, offers field adventures identifying some of the smaller creatures living in the stream. A half-mile mowed walking trail through the woods gives access to the water and a close look at stone outcrops.
