Orris House Inn
This exquisite Second Empire mansion located in the historic district of Mecahnicsburg was built in 1887 as the private home of wheelwright Adam Orris and is a registered National Historic Landmark. Rich in original detail, the bed & breakfast inn retains its original woodwork, banisters, pocket doors, mantels and crystal chandeliers. Indoor and outdoor public areas compliment our private accommodations making it perfect for using the Inn for intimate weddings and receptions as well as family reunions and retreats.

From PA Twp.(I-76) take US 15 S toward Gettysburg. Get off next exit on Cumberland Parkway. Go straight until you hit Rt 114, S. Market St. Take market St approx 1.5 miles & make a left at the second traffice light which is Main St. (Rt 114 & Rt 641 combine here. Go through the next traffic light which is York st. (York becomes 114 & Main remains 641 at this point) We are 1/2 block on the right hand side. We are also near Rts 81, 283 & 83. Room 1 has a private ensuite bath, Rooms 2a & 2b are a suite and share a bath. Rooms 3a & 3b are a suite and share a bath. All rooms are open for Inn guests to enjoy. Besides the overnight accommodations there are two libraries, a formal dining room, parlor & music room as well as the kitchen & 400 sq ft sun room.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 10 (ten) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation and authorize a 10% processing fee.
