Relaxing and beautiful stay at Crampton Manor Bed and Breakfast!

    September 17, 2012

My husband and I were traveling to the Erie, Pennsylvania area and decided to book our first traveling night at the Crampton Manor Bed and Breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at the Crampton Manor. The property and Manor are beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful! Yet, amazingly only approximately three miles from the PA turnpike. (However, you would never know it!) The Manor is absolutely lovely and the view beautiful! We stayed in the Hayloft and completely enjoyed it! Linda is a warm and friendly hostess and Snickers (the family dog) was a delight! Our breakfast was both elegant and delicious!! As we were driving down the drive way to leave, we were treated to the sight of two baby fawns standing in the trees near the Crampton Manor! Beautiful!! We would recommend the Crampton Manor and plan to return in the future! A "special" thanks to the Crampton Manor for making our stay "extra special!" Linda and Clif McCoy, North Carolina

    Beautiful country B&B!

    November 12, 2010

I stayed one evening in the Carriage House at Crampton Manor. What a lovely and relaxing experience! The entire B&B is so cozy and welcoming, and decorated beautifully--the attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. Linda and Mike are wonderful hosts who make you feel most welcome and comfortable. Everything I needed was at my fingertips. I look forward to returning to Crampton Manor with my family--their rooms are comfortable for one or a group. Beautiful country living! Thanks Linda and Mike--we'll see you again soon!

    Reclusive mountain retreat

    November 04, 2010

If you are looking for a reclusive mountain retreat with simple charm and gracious hosts, this is the perfect place. We stayed in the Hayloft, which is a great value for a little apartment. It was just the place to get away for a couple of quiet days in a beautiful, natural setting. Very nice trails on their wooded acres, and a lovely state park is nearby. We watched the sun rise from the top of Tuscarora Mountain, which is a short drive away. If you want some fine dining, you will have to drive down to Mercersburg, about 30 minutes or so. Very close to the Turnpike, but we took Route 30 all the way to Bedford and enjoyed the scenic route. Make the most of your time in this special little corner of the Appalachian mountains!

    ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!

    October 28, 2009

Our family of 5 stayed in the Carriage House at Crampton Manor, and it was the nicest B&B we've ever stayed at. It was beautiful, cozy, comfy, clean, etc. all rolled up in one! There was a cake in the kitchen waiting for us when we arrived, and breakfast was scrumptious! We hated to leave, but will definitely be back! Thank you Linda and Mike!
