Decorated in shades of sage & raspberry, the Victoria Room has a cozy queen size Mahogany sleigh bed and large bay window. The in room bath has a single whirlpool tub and shower combination. The stunning vanity is made from hand carved walnut with Mother of pearl inlays.
A hearty morning breakfast is served daily at the B.F. Hiestand House Bed & Breakfast.
The Vanderslice Suite whirlpool tub.
Cannon Cottage bathroom; two person whirlpool tub and separate spa shower.
Third generation Hiestand family member, Robert Vanderslice, Jr., was the architect who designed the exterior of our cottage in 1960. Named for Mrs. Sara Cannon Hiestand, the Cannon Cottage was created in 2008, and it features a magnificent stained glass window from the original house. The Cannon Cottage is a separate unit with it's own private entrance. Shades of persimmon, gold and green accent the bold oak mission style furniture. It features a pillow top king size bed, gas fireplace (operational between October and May) and a 32" HD cable TV w/DVD player. The private bath has a two person whirlpool tub, separate spa shower, heated tile floor and heated towel rack. There is a bar sink with counter area with a coffee maker, electric tea pot and refrigerator. You may join us in the main dining room for breakfast or have it delivered to your cottage. Requires a two night minimum stay on most weekend
The Susquehanna Room's spacious private bath with original stained glass window and hand painted French tile contains a romantic steam/rain forest shower for two.

From this location it is a short trip to Hershey, Historic Lancaster City, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Wineries, Outlets, the Historic Rivertownes of Marietta, Columbia and Wrightsville, and many other local attractions and sights. The gracious Inn was designed by local architect C. Emlen Urban, and built in 1887 as the home of B. Frank Hiestand, a well known lumber mill owner of his time, and his family. The house is on the Historic Registry of homes. The first floor features a rare american chestnut foyer and staircase. Two parlors with pocket doors and fireplaces are great places to unwind with a good book or viewing a DVD on the large screen TV. In the formal dining room, the mahogany wainscoting and coiffered ceiling are magnificent. Freehand stenciling enhances the triple stained glass windows. A friend and I stayed in the Cannon Cottage for 3 nights. Monday, March 25th and it was lovely. The bed was so comfortable, the whirlpool so relaxing and the breakfast was so very good. The innkeepers made you feel as if you were family and were so helpful with suggestions on what to do, etc. The high point was Quincy, the family's pet fetching the morning newspaper. This is my 3rd trip to this B&B and already planning to visit again in June or July.

A beautiful home with wonderful, helpful hosts. The house was warmly decorated, clean, and welcoming. The sheets, towels, and rainforest shower were amazing. Pam's breakfasts were delicious and satisfying. The location provided easy access to a winery, candy factory, and several impressive antique shops, as well as other historical homes to visit. We definitely plan to visit again!

We stayed at the B.F Hiestand House B & B this past weekend - in the Vanderslice Suite. The house was totally charming. Beautifully appointed and decorated as if walking back into the era. Pam, Dallas and Quincy were excellent hosts. We most definitely will stop by for a stay again in the future.

My boyfriend and I stayed here recently when he surprised me with a weekend away from the city. We loved everything about this place, it's very clean and charming, the innkeepers were super helpful and friendly, and their dog Quincy was adorable. They even reserved a dinner for us with a local Amish family, which was almost as delicious as the breakfast we enjoyed here in the morning. We will definitely be back soon!
