Stone House Inn Gents Room

Delightful stay. Nice little town, friendly people. The Inn was amazing and the breakfast was out of this world. Room was a little small but cozy. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Beautiful room and wonderful breakfast

Our room, the Primitives Room, was spectacular and the luxurious bathroom was the star! Owners were hand-offs and weren't pushy, which I liked, and the service and amenities exceeded my expectations!

New Year's Eve Stay

The Stone House Inn is a wonderful, charming, relaxing, comfortable and affordable place to stay. The breakfast was the most delicious, believe me you do not leave there hungry! It is located nearby Allentown and there is many things to do in the area, skiing, hiking, shopping and great places to eat (Savory Grill is one of them). If you are ever going to be in the area I would recommend you stay here.

Would stay again!

Macungie Stay

Breakfast meals were fabulous. Snacks, soda and coffee was readily available throughout the day. Atmosphere was relaxing. We stayed in the Kitten room which was in a great location in the house but was small. I put our clothing in the dresser in the room and then put our suitcases in the car which made it a bit easier to move around the room. Our kids stayed in the Gents room, which was a little larger. The location in town was good. There is a laundramat nearby as well as a drug store and a restaurant.

Having never stayed at the Stone House Inn before, my wife and I were both surprised and delighted with our visit. We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the hospitality of Fran and Jan. The only thing we might do differently next time is to SHARE one breakfast. The food was delicious and the portions HUGE. When in the area again, we would definitely stay there again!

Amazing Weekend

Fran made a delightful, early morning breakfast for us in the backyard garden area. Everything was made to our liking and every effort was made to please us. I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Surprise :)

4.0 on August 31, 2015

What a wonderful little surprise! We stayed in the Primitives Room, and it was extremely clean and cute! The bed was a little small, but the shower made up for it! It has a couple showerheads, which I really loved! :) And it has a dispenser for shampoo, conditioner and shower gel! I have never seen that in any hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have been in several! :) I loved that they supply a few samples from the in-house spa, as well. I took home the scrub! It was so nice. :) I have to say it is a very beautiful house, but there is no formal check-in, as there was no one there when we arrived. We saw an envelope taped to the front door for another couple, but not for us, so we had no idea what to do. Thank goodness a couple walked in to let us know that there was no formal check-in and the key would be in the door of our room. We walked through the house and found our room. I did love that there were breakfast menus on the bed. We got to choose our breakfast and a time we wanted to eat, and it would be there when we came down in the morning. It would have been great if breakfast went past 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday, but we chose 8:30 a.m. to be able to get down there as late as possible. Who the heck wants to get up that early on Sunday morning? LOL. Our breakfast, however, was worth the early rise. :) We got the ham and cheese omelets and potatoes, which were soooo good. :) After we found our room, we napped and then headed to the pub down the street for a bit, which was quite convenient. When we were leaving the house, we found our welcome letter taped to the door, explaining where our room was and other procedures. :) There was never any contact with the owners, but they are readily available. We had to call them concerning the combination of the lock on the front door for later that evening, and we had no issues. All in all, it was a perfect getaway--I would recommend it if you need a little break from the noise. :)

Superior stay in charming B&B

The House is a step back in history, but the amenities are 21st Century. Hosts are helpful but not obtrusive. Breakfast in the outside patio area is excellent. Delicious meal prepared to order. You can also eat inside if you prefer. There was a nesting dove in a covered alcove on the porch - that's how peaceful the site is. Community Park behind house affords nice walking area with stream, lots of shade and picnic pavilions. Community garden nearby was bursting with seasonal flowers. Our room was charming with a roomy bathroom and shower with quarry tile.
