The 1740 HOUSE offers you a private retreat where all 23 guestrooms have spectacular views of the River. During the summer months enjoy a cool dip in our beautiful pool with a refreshing cocktail from the Tavern and let your imagination take you back to the days when George Washington crossed the river nearby to turn the tide of American history.
All well-appointed guestrooms are spacious and offer private bath, balcony or terrace, AC, cable TV, robes, and internet access. Several rooms have fireplaces. Take I-95 North to New Hope Exit. Turn north for New Hope and follow Rt. 32 North to Lumberville. 1740 House is on the right about 6-½ miles north of stoplight in New Hope.
