A fabulous, filling country breakfast is served every morning. It might be Eggs Florentine, Stuffed Frenchtoast, seasonal pancakes (pumpkin, apple, blueberry, etc.), or another suprise--but will be accompanied by fresh fruit and breakfast meats, pastries, and fresh coffee and juice.
A wonderful getaway in the woods, yet conveniently close to roads to nearby attractions. Beautifully landscaped gardens change the scenic views throughout the seasons.
Our common room features a comfortable place to rest and relax after an afternoon of visiting farmers markets and area attractions. In the winter months the fireplace is burning. Curl up in a comfy chair with a good book and cup of hot coffee and escape into another world.
A peaceful walk through the gardens is the perfect start or finish to your day.

Our genuine Swiss heritage is evident throughout the inn. Cow bells hang from the rafters and the traditional black stoneware hangs on the wall.
Cozy rooms with your comfort in mind. Patios invite you to enjoy the flowers in the gardens or watch birds gather for their nests.
Oder a specialty cheese tray to be awaiting you on arrival. We have access to the most amazing imported and domestic cheeses and can make up a tray to suit your unique tastes.
Our guest office provides computers and internet access to those not traveling with laptops. There is also a full library of gardening books here for the enthusiast. WiFi is available throughout the inn and on the patios.
Swiss Woods is truly nestled in some of Lancaster County's most beautiful woodland. Our gardens are second to none and worth the trip alone.
Ohh and the biscotti are amazing! We bake 6 kinds some dipped in white or dark chocolate. Find them on the sideboard to enjoy with that afternoon cup of coffee on the patio. The house favorite are Apricot Ginger!
Werner's brightly colored bee hives house active healthy colonies of honey bees. They gather pollens and pollinate the fruit trees and flowers on the inn property. Guests enjoy the resulting honey in their tea.
Tending the bees is one of Werner's favorite pastimes. One could almost call it a hobby except that we see many pounds of honey yearly from these hives. The raw honey is available in the inns gift shop.
Over the years we have planted bushels and bushels of daffodils. They carpet the property and have multiplied to masses of yellow color. Spring and their bright faces are always a welcome sight!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We are from the west coast and found Swiss Woods to be very comfortable and beautiful. The food was excellent and the company was great. We enjoyed visiting with the couples that were there. Nice evening fire outside. A great place to stay.

We stumbled across this B&B about 15 years ago! It has all of the extras for a great get away! Breakfasts are exceptional! An excellent choice for a gift for that someone special! Debbie and Werner are fantastic hosts! Highly recommended!!! Tommy and Kathy

This bed and breakfast was Gorgeous!!!!!!! The pictures do not do it justice!!!! The only thing that we had a problem with was the jacuzzi! It turned out to be very small and for only one person!! Our stay was very nice and breakfast was wonderful!!!!

What a wonderful place to get away from the stress and rat race of every day living. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, beautiful naturalized gardens and hospitality afforded us by the innkeepers and staff. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The breakfasts and homemade goodies (which were available all day) were absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely return, and soon!

We were delighted with our accommodations. The Inn is beautiful and the food delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the dog was a delightful part of the Swiss feeling. The driveway up to the Inn was for me a bit unnerving. As I drove up the whole scene came together and was a wonderful sight to behold.

A hidden oasis tucked away in PA. The grounds are intoxicating, the rooms charming, and the innkeepers perfectly balance being available should you wish to seek input on nearby attractions, however they disappear the rest of time, making visitors feel free to fully relax and enjoy the inn. The staff was fantastic to work with and make you feel right at home. The food was incredible and everything was quite clean. Enjoyable place to visit, relax and explore.
