The Whistlestop Bed & Breakfast

The Whistlestop Bed & Breakfast is a quaint brick Victorian built in 1888. It has wide plank pine floors, original woodwork and is decorated with country furnishings using a railroad motif. Leetsdale is located on the Ohio River Northwest of Pittsburgh and close to the classic American village of Sewickley where fine examples of historic architecture are well maintained. Local flavor includes trains whistling nearby and tugboats tooting down the Ohio River. While in the area guests can visit Old Economy Village, a state historic site and last home of the Harmonist Society, a Christian communal group.
