Our 1909 Colonial home will welcome you with its large wrap-around porch, aged walnut tree, fruit trees and country setting.
A full breakfast is served in our warm, sunlit Dining room where guests plan their day in Lancaster County.
Our Four Seasons room has a queen bed and a unique bathroom.
Our Garden Room with a Queen bed and shower bath in-room.
Our Quilt room features acess to a private balcony, queen bed, half-bath in-room and full bathroom just outside the Quilt room.
Our Siam Room has a king bed and a shower bath. There is room for a cot for a third person.
One of our rooms that guests can relax with a book or chat is the living room. It is convenient, warm and where guests meet in the morning before breakfast.
An addition to our side yard with its cherry and apple trees is a water fountain and pergola. We put some benches around the fountain for guests to gather and enjoy the outside.
For those who enjoy the outside, our gazebo can make the time waiting to go to dinner or a show enjoyable. Sometimes an Amish buggy can ride by, bringing a long lost time to life.
Our blooming wisteria covering our pergola. Summer is a beautiful time in Lancaster County and our Inn.

Our turn-of-the-Century home recalls the rural life a century ago. A wrap around porch and quiet gazebo provide places to relax, read or watch the Amish buggies ride by. Each room has a 20" cabled TV for your enjoyment. Our small orchard provides fruit for the breakfast table. We attempt to maintain a healthy, chemical-free environment for all our guests including those who have allergy and asthma conditions, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity or Environmental Illness.

We stayed at the Walnut Lawn Bed and Breakfast in April and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. The house was beautiful, breakfast was really good, and the room was very nice and clean. Most of all, Tom and Sara were gracious hosts! They made us feel like old friends.

I am so happy we chose to stay at the Walnut Lawn B&B. Sarah and Tom were so warm and welcoming, and their breakfasts were amazing. The rooms are very quaint, and the the location of this B&B is ideal. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we return to Lancaster county.

I was traveling through the area with my daughter (8) and wanted her to have her first B&B experience. The locations was great, the hosts were delightful, and the breakfast was super. We lucked out having a mini-golf course down the street which was perfect. All major attractions were very close. We'd absolutely stay there again.

Tom and Sarah run the best Bed and Breakfast in Lancaster. They're both a joy to talk with and always make you feel welcome. Sarah prepares a delicious breakfast every morning. It's really a feast! Both Sarah and Tom engage the guests in interesting conversation. We've stayed at Walnut Lawn Bed and Breakfast three times and plan on staying again soon!

Four Seasons Room
One advantage of Lancaster County is its four seasons. Each season is unique and has its own set of holidays and celebrations. This second floor guest room has a queen bed that will make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy the beauty of our small orchard and garden fountain from your room. Adding to the interest of this room is a full private bath that is accessed through huge chestnut doors which formerly enclosed an indoor 'water closet'.

A quilt is a work of art and a labor of love. In this warm second floor guest room, you will find beautiful examples of quilts from the Amish and Mennonite communities as well as from Thailand. This guest room features a queen bed with a private powder room. The Quilt room has a full private bath located outside the room for the exclusive use of guests in this room. After a busy day visiting the areas many attractions, you can relax and enjoy the view from the private balcony overlooking the Gazebo.

In memory of our Peace Corps experience, we gave this room the ancient name for Thailand. This spacious second floor guest room has a comfy king bed and a full private shower bath. An all-season fireplace gives a romantic accent to the room. The mosquito net canopy along with memorabilia and items we collected from our time in Southeast Asia accent this interesting and cozy guest room.

Couldn't ask for a better place to have spent my anniversary with my girlfriend. The innkeepers Tom and Sarah were beautiful people and lovely at heart. They made us feel at home and welcomed from the time we walked in. Sarah makes unbelievably delicious breakfast and can't wait until I go back to have some more. I wouldn't stay at another B&B in Lancaster unless its the walnut lawn.
