    My husband and I were given a gift to this wonderful place by my children and it was the best gift I received! Sheila and Bob were the perfect hosts. Whenever we needed a suggestion for dining or entertainment, Sheila's suggestions were always perfect. I don't even know where to start to describe the best breakfasts that I ever had. We just enjoyed talking to them and we now feel that we have friends in Jim Thorpe for our next visit.

    Had the opportunity to stay in mid-September for a second time and had a fantastic time. As usual, Sheila and Bob were the perfect hosts. Our room was spacious and the service was superior. We plan to go back again. The Gilded Cupid is in the Center of town and there are always things to do. Enjoy the fantastic breakfast!

    There is no other place to stay in Jim Thorpe!

    We have been to the Gilded Cupid on several occasions and would not consider staying anywhere else. Great innkeepers, great rooms, great time. The house is as historic as the town and transports you back to the second half of the 19th century. The restoration is superbly done with every attention to detail.

    We really enjoyed our stay at the Gilded Cupid! Exquisite detail and wonderful rooms and charm. Sheila and Bob are very welcoming.. and the breakfast was delicious! Definitely recommended for a nice stay. We will be back :)
