Wester Farm Bed and Breakfast

  • Inn Details

Come and enjoy yourself in the country! Experience nature while staying in one of our comfortable, modern cottages. These cottages are in a quiet and peaceful wooded area next to our farm one mile off Rt. 58. Breakfast is offered along with a tour of the farm when requested. We are located near Pymatuning State Park, 80 miles north of Pittsburgh, 60 miles south of Erie and 35 miles east of Youngstown. Becky's Bungalo accommodates five adults on one level, and features a great view of the woods and stream in the back. Cora's Cottage sleeps five adults. A unique feature is a sleeping loft with two beds. Our farm started in 1976 with the purchase of a family cow we named Dumplins. We selected a Jersey cow because it is the smallest of the 5 major dairy breeds and gives the richest milk. We decided to start a dairy in 1981 and purchased 5 jersey calves to begin the herd. These are the ancestors of our herd today. We enjoy showing the cows and our facility and inviting friends over for breakfast. Farmer Al, a retired school teacher, has built several homes, thus came the idea to build cottages and share our love of the farm and country to the public. We have since sold the farm and built a new home where 2 suites are available for our Bed & Breakfast guests. We welcome you to join us for a day, or extended period of time.

My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine's day for a relaxing private night away. We got just what we needed. The cottage was full of country charm and had a beautiful view through the windows. Al and Betty were two of the friendliest people I have ever met. And Betty is a wonderful baker too. I plan on returning to the cottage the next chance I get and would recommend it to anyone.
