The room was great but the breakfasts were even better! Stayed for two days and really enjoyed it. I can see going there again. Gordon was a great host!

Staying with Gordon and Gwen is always a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Everything is perfect. Clean, quiet and comfortable, and Gordon's stuffed french toast was delicious! Just the break we needed!

We found this B& B to be a great place . The room met our expectation, the service was great, and the value was great, and the cleaniness was great, and the dinning was very very good. The Host Cordon was very very gracious, and made us feel right at home. He was willing to give us any information about the area that we needed. We will likely return to this location, and ,give other people a grand rating to stay here.

Everything was more than perfect. The quilt on the bed was so beautiful, the bed was super comfortable, and the room was spotless, not to mention the delicious breakfast Gordon cooked for us. That was indeed amazing. All the guests were dining together on a big table so that we were able to talk to each other and get to know many interesting traveling stories from each of them. Overall, the stay in Carriage Corner made our trip unforgettable.

I arrived at this B&B earlier than C\check-in time, but Gordon a;;owed me put my baggage on my room. And he gave me lots of information about Intercourse. This was so helpful! I'll surely be back again!

I can't describe with words how good the stay was. Gordon was helpful from the beginning, providing guidance around the area and places where we could go. The room was exceptional, the breakfast super delicious! This will be our "second home" for future stays in the area.

Everything about our stay here was wonderful. The owner even set up for us to eat dinner at an Amish home, which was the highlight of my year! If you are debating where to stay, STAY HERE!

Other B&Bs at which we've stayed have been polite or efficient, but not as warm and welcoming as Carriage Corner. The hospitality made us feel kind of like extended family come to visit.

A very quiet, comfortable, reasonably priced B&B. The innkeeper, Gordon, was very knowledgable and prepared a delicious breakfast. We were happy that they accept bedandbreakfst.com gift cards, but we were a little disappointed that they did not give the 'Hot Deal' discount that was advertised on their sight, but it was still a good value. We would visit them again!

Generally we have one or two rooms earmarked for "Hot Deal" and accept the "Hot Deal" only apart from acceptance of the gift card as there is a commission which we pay in accepting the Gift Card.

The hospitality was wonderful, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was wonderfully prepared. We very much enjoyed our time at the Carriage Corner B&B.

I was very pleased with our stay, and plan to stay here again...for future visits to Lancaster County. The pics on-line do not do the room we stayed in justice. It was beautiful! We stayed in the Cranberry room, and it, and the personal bathroom were spacious. Service was good-quick e-mail responses before and a phone call away while there (if the owner was not already on site). More than worth the asking price for a room.

We had a peaceful stay in this home and the host was extremely gracious. Understand that this home is quite near the center of Intercourse, not too far in the country.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Carriage Corner. The daily breakfast was very good and the conversations were great. Talking to people from all over the states and Canada was very interesting. The rooms are spacious, well kept and most of all very comfortable. Gordon was very helpful in explaining the area and sites of interest. You have to attend the Amish family dinner. What an experience! We would definitely consider coming back.

This is our second stay at Carriage Corner and we will stay there again for sure when we return to the area. The prices are very reasonable and we find that the hospitality exceeds expectations. The morning breakfast was very good and Gordon is an excellent host and very personable. He is very knowledgeable and will provide you with ideas of what to experience in the area. He makes you feel very welcome and at times it seems like your in your own home. You will be glad you stayed here!

Have stayed at the Carriage Corner several times. The rooms are great and Gordon, the host, always has good information and recommendations for what you want to do. One time while in the area I stayed at another B&B which left me disappointed so I make sure I book my stay at the Carriage Corner before planning the rest of my trip.

Loved the gathering room upstairs for group sharing.....food was excellent....so enjoyed having everyone gather for b'fast at same time and share stories....innkeeper was fun/interesting and neat that he was connected to 6 of the guests who were staying there that night - 2 from NJ and 4 from KS.....great location in re town. We'd come back in a minute!

My wife and I like to visit Lancaster, Pa. often. We have stayed in a few places but after finding Carriage Corner we have returned at least 10 times. This is the only place we stay. Carriage Corner is run by a warm friendly and very helpful man, Gordon Schuit. His breakfasts are out-of-this-world. Carriage corner is very clean with comfortable rooms. The room rates are very good and Carriage Corner is situated in a great place for sight seeing, shopping and dining. We will continue to visit Carriage Corner and just returned from there and look forward to a visit again next year.

The innkeeper is passionate about his job. He is there to help with suggestions for attractions in the area. The breakfast every morning was gourmet, and eating together with other guests was lively and very enjoyable.

We had wonderfully delicious breakfast each morning. Gordon was a delightful host. Gordon helped us with planning our daily day trips in the area and answered all our questions. When the tornado hit close to where we were, Gordon was so attentative to our comfort. We felt truely love and cared about by his actions.

We had a great time, 4 days and 3 nights in amish country. The room was spotless with a nice country feel. The other guests were very relaxed and friendly. The breakfast was great. I am not a breakfast person and I still enjoyed it.

Well located in heart of Amish countryside. On arrival, Gordon seemed friendly and helpful with map and directions. The bed room and ensuite shower room were clean and well presented - but no hair drier. The lounge was well furnished with relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was served at 8:30prompt and all guests sat around one table - we were a couple of minutes late and made to feel a little ackward to see other guests waiting to start breakfast. Also whilst we were at breakfast we were a little surprised that our room was stripped of all towels and all the windows opened wide.

We had stayed here before in the plum room and really enjoyed it. We ended up in the strawberry room this time and I was a little disappointed with the size of the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable though and we still had a great time.

We had a clean, quiet, private room. I'm disabled and finicky about mattresses, and this one was superb. Gordon is congenial without being "overboard." He provides a delicious, filling breakfast, and provides an atmosphere in which guests can talk comfortably in a big, sunny kitchen/dining area. Doesn't get any better.

Gordon made our stay one to remember. I cannot describe how lovely and hospitable the hosts were. Gordon provided detailed daily plans for us which without we would be lost. And of course the home cooked breakfasts were world class!

Very clean, great location, rooms were big. Very friendly, made you feel right at home. We only spend one night but I would come back again.

I just remember our great american holidays we spent in July 2011 and realized I never wrote a review about your B&B. My husband and our 3 teenage-daughters spent 5 days at Gordon`s and Gwen`s place - and we loved it! We aren`t very religious too, like someone else mentioned before - so my husband and my daughters felt a bit comfortable the first day sitting and praying with people they don`t know. But I tell you what: whenever we talk about our stay in the States - my husband and the girls tell me that they loved spending parts of our stay there and that it was the place they loved most. The rooms were really big and comfortable and absolutly cozy and clean (we stayed in the Cranberry-Room, the girls in the Lemon-Room) and the breakfast was great. We had 2 lovely dinners with 2 other guests and a very nice experience at an amish family. Gordon was a very caring and polite host, giving us good suggestions and moments of great laughter. Thank you. Unfortunatley we did not make it this year, but we hope to meet him again in the next years.

When we arrived we were met by a charming host who was full of info about the area. The rooms were very tidy and clean. Everything was updated and new. A great value for the price.

My wife and I haven't tried a new Bed & Breakfast in a while. It was a great new find. We expect to stay here again in the future. It is a very nicely kept place. We felt we were in a very classy place. The room was very romantic and elegant. The bathroom was beautiful. The Breakfast was very good and satisfying.

My new wife and I aren't particularly "bed and breakfast" people - we enjoy our privacy. But, we received a gift certificate for Carriage Corner and decided to try it out. The food was wonderful, our host Gordon was very pleasant, and the room was lovely. We stayed in the "lemon room".

As we were a very late check in Gordon, worked with us on that. Everything was very nice, The only issue we had was that we drive a Ford Excursion and the parking area is a bit on the small side. Otherwise we shall stay there again.

The rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated. We usually stay in the Plum Room which is large and comfortable. This B&B was our first visit to a B&B. It was all we expect of it. It was like visiting a Uncle. Gordon was helpfull and friendly. And respected also our privacy. The room had free wifi, was clean and big enough for the 3 of us. The breakfast was good and more than enough.. When we are in Lancaster again, we defenitely stay with Gordon! Only stayed 1 night and was happy with our accommodations. Our room was clean and neat and the bed very comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful and meeting the other guest very nice. Everything was great; accommodations, food, surroundings and especially the owner/manager. Gordon does a wonderful job. We spent time talking with him and the other guests, (Both nights we stayed, all rooms were booked.) The Carriage Corner B&B is located on a quiet corner just before all the shops on the main drag. The split-level home is quaint and immaculate. The decor is very tasteful country without being kitschy. Gordon, the owner, is very warm and inviting and knowledgeable of the area. We were presented with a map where he outlined some activities based on our tastes and he highlighted which options were open on a Sunday. We stayed in the Cranberry room, which is the only room upstairs, along with the common area and dining room. Our room had a large private bathroom. On the bed was a hand-stitched Amish quilt which was beautifully done and quite expensive. In the room were lots of nice little touches like a black makeup towel in the restroom, extra pillows in the closet and a folder with a brief history of the area along with local restaurants, shops and activities. There is also an outside deck in the rear with tables and chairs, and a gazebo out front. Both are decorated with clear Christmas lights for a romantic feeling. Gordon prefers to serve a family-style breakfast. While there may not be any choices, there was some variety. The breakfast was really delicious. Gordon does ask his guests about food allergies upon check-in. Grace is said on Sundays so if you are non-religious, just anticipate that. There is no pressure to participate, so you can just sit quietly and respectfully while it is said. Breakfast is served promptly at 8:30 am which may be early for some but since everything shuts down so early in the area, we found ourselves going to bed earlier than normal anyway. All in all, Gordon is a wonderful host and considering the location, decor, food and value I will not hesitate to stay at the Carriage Corner again.

This was my very first stay in a B&B, and I have to say, it was much, much more than I ever expected! The food, housekeeping, and fellowship was outstanding! Gordon is a fabulous cook, and treated us to a great breakfast each morning. The entire house was immaculate, and very well decorated, with pleanty of reading material on the Amish & the Lancaster area. I plan on returning next year, God willing.

I have stayed here numerous times over the past several years and this bed and breakfast is one of the best I've ever stayed at. I am always impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent breakfast, and the outstanding service from the host, Gordon. He is very helpful in suggesting places to visit and dine and will even give directions and/or help with reservations. My one suggestion is that I would like to have an earlier breakfast than the one sitting at 8:30.- this is the one of the few b and b's where the only sitting is this late.

We loved this B&B. It was extremely clean and the breakfasts were delicious. It was centrally located to many attractions. On our next visit to the Lancaster area, we will definitely stay here again!

Very engaging stay. My wife and I have stayed in plenty of Bed and Breakfast bye far this was one of our best. Great food and great conversations all around made this one of our best stays by far.

This is the second time we have visited Carriage Corner B&B from Scotland. We would highly recommend it due to the cleanliness, food and the friendliness of the owner.

My stay in Lancaster County was a jumbled last minute flurry of activity with side trips taking me far away in other directions. The host at Carriage Corner was accommodating to my unexpected travel changes, late arrivals, and very helpful with directions. He provided some muffins and juice to take on my journeys since I would be missing breakfast. All in all, a beautiful area to visit. Bountiful farmland surroundings, and peace and quiet everywhere.

The Inn is located in a great location .. walking distance to many area shops. Gordon was very helpful, providing us with a map upon arrival and outlining area attractions for us. The room was extremely clean, well decorated and comfortable. We were disappointed however, in that he would not accept our Bed & Breakfast gift card toward payment for the room.

A charming and comfortable place, very well situated. The breakfast is excellent. Gordon and Gwen are friendly, and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay, everything was perfect.

We were made to feel very welcome by Gordon when we arrived at this guest house. He showed us a map of the local area and made recommendations of where to visit/eat during our short stay. Our cosy room had a private bathroom across the corridor, both very clean and had nice Amish touches. There were plenty of Amish books in room to read and find out more about the local area. A good selection of tea and coffee was available in the kitchen as well as a lounge area to sit and read or meet other guests. Gordon served a very tasty breakfast at 8.30am which gave us a chance to chat to the other guests. The guest house is in a fantastic location, close to the main sights and we enjoyed a nice walks in the nearby park to walk off the 'all you can eat' dinner (also recommended by Gordon). Parking available free of charge. Gordon was the perfect host and we would definitely stay there again if in the area.

I enjoyed the peaceful setting, and my lovely , clean room. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the Innkeeper was friendly & helpful about the area. Location was convenient to tourist attractions & local dining, and a is real value for the high quality!

We always stay at Carriage Corner B&B when we visit the Lancaster area. We were so glad that our room, the "Lemon Room", was available. Gordon was very accommodating and breakfast was bountiful and delicious. We would highly recommend this B&B.

The Carriage Corner B&B is located very close to the main drag of Intercourse. It's basically a family home converted into a B&B, so the rooms don't have much privacy (which is true of most B&B's I've stayed at). Rooms are comfortable and have a TV. I thought the bath stuff was a little cheap (Dial soap instead of shower gel), but the owner was very thoughtful and accommodating, and the pancakes were delicious. All in all, I'd say it was a good value and a relaxing place to stay.

The inn keeper Gordon is such a wonderful person. The rooms are amazing and the prices very reasonable. We've been there multiple times and enjoy it more every time. The breakfasts are amazing. According to the journals in the rooms there are people staying there from all over the world.

We are from Holland and we went for a trip to new York with our children and there partners. After a few days we rented a car and in a few ours we were in Intercourse and stayed there for two days around the Amish area in Carriage Corner B&B. It was so comfortible, quit and we had beautiful rooms. It felt like home, it felt like Holland, once, wen I was young.

I stayed 2 nights and received excellent care. The breakfasts were delicious! The hosts were congenial, helpful and thoughtful. Just really nice people.

We had a nice conversation with the other guests during the delicious breakfast. We loved being within walking distance from the little town and shopping. My wife and I enjoyed a much needed two-day getaway at Carriage Corner. This was our first extended stay in the area, and we were delightfully impressed with our B & B accommodations. The location was excellent, and Gordon was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the local culture and attractions. The room rates were very reasonable, and the breakfasts were phenomenal! Gordon was always available for good conversation with those who desired to chat, but was also very respectful of guests' desire for privacy and was never intrusive or overbearing. He was a wonderful host, and it was evident that he truly enjoyed helping his guests have a great experience during their time at the B & B. Oh yeah, and his laugh is contagious :). The area was very serine and peaceful, offering a refreshing time for my wife and I to enjoy together. There was plenty to keep us busy between the shops, shows and scenery. Our trip to Sight and Sound Theatre, along with the many free delicious tastings (fudge, soup, pie, jams) in the shops at Kitchen Kettle Village were some of our favorite attractions. Our least favorite part of the trip was that we weren't able to stay longer. I highly recommend this B & B; you will not be disappointed.

We had the most wonderful time in Lancaster County - made even better by the great hospitality offered by Gordon at Carriage Corner. The location of Intercourse PA was great. So close to so much good shopping and the ride through the countryside was enjoyable. The rooms were a really nice size and comfortable- could stay there a week and not feel cramped.

Gordon was an outstanding host, who pays attention to every detail. It was a nice opportunity to getaway overnight. We look forward to returning again and having an opportunity to stay more than one night.

Gordon embarrassed my wife on the final day of our trip. He ruin our trip and we will never stay their again. He gave me the wrong phone number and blamed me for not getting in touch with him. Other guests were asking questions and he was not even there like he said he would be. Very bad people skills and unprofessional in his buisness.

We have stayed at many Lancaster Area B&B's over the years, and this was by far the best. Gordon was pleasant and accommodating, but also gave us "space" to do our own thing. The rooms were spotless and quiet. the common room was pleasant, and the location was close to many popular attractions.Breakfast was great.

From the minute that Gordon emailed his response to my inquiry, I was welcomed into their home. The breakfasts were phenomenal and the attention to comfort was great!!! I experienced an Amish dinner at an Amish home and a wonderful auto tour of the farmlands. Gordon provided us with a quiet atmosphere in which to enjoy a quiet week-end. I will definitely return!

We are a young couple who were delighted with our stay at this B&B in beautiful Amish country. We are new to the B&B experience and we loved the hospitality and community at Carriage Corner. We stayed in the Cranberry Room, which was great for us because it is spacious and is equipped with its own bathroom, which we noticed one of other rooms' bathroom was in the communal hallway. Gordon is a great guide and was very helpful with sights to see, including a driving tour which was cheesy, but awesome. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Lancaster.

This was my second and my boyfriend's first visit to Gordon and Gwen's delightful B&B. Gordon is a delightful and most pleasurable host. His breakfasts are to die for and makes you excited and wondering what tomorrow morning will bring. We have a Lodging Business ourselves and take pride in all of our properties being immaculate, clean and with that down home touch, so that being said we enjoy not having to worry about that when staying at the Corner Carriage B&B, it is spotless! This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful. I enjoyed the genuine hospitality, the quiet and comfy homelife setting, and the yummy food! It is much more personal and the rooms are much cleaner than a hotel stay. We want to come back again and again for more visits!!

My husband and I stayed at Carriage Corner B&B for a weekend in December (2011) and had a wonderful weekend. The rooms and whole house were clean and very homey! We enjoyed ourselves and it was very close to everything- great for site-seeing. The owner is a wonderful man, very welcoming and caring. Breakfasts were AMAZING- he is a great cook! Highly suggest this B&B. CaWe can't wait to return!

Gordon is a great cook and very informative on the area and all it has to offer. I finally was able to taste his pumpkin pancakes and I was satisfied. The room was perfect sized. And even though we had our bathroom not in our room, it literally was a step away. I liked that it was small. The B&B was decorated for the season. The home was very welcoming and comfortable. It is an excellent location. The experience was amazing and I will return.

Having traveled the world and stayed in B&Bs in North & South America, Europe and Asia, I’ve got to say that Gordon runs an absolutely top-notch, world-class B&B. His personality is ideally suited to what he does – he is a perfect host because he enjoys it so much. I am writing this after our fourth stay with Gordon (we live in New York, a 3-hour drive away), and we already look forward to coming back to him. This was our first time to stay in a Bed & Breakfast and it was, indeed, a truly wonderful experience. Our host, Gordon, was very helpful and congenial. We really wished out stay could have been longer. It is surely a place to come back to.

We found Gordon, the owner to be so kind and informative. I forgot my jacket at the B&B and before I even noticed it was missing, it arrived in the mail. Gordon is also an amazing cook! Each breakfast was like eating out at a five star restaurant. If your looking for a quite, peaceful getaway then Carriage Corner is the place to go. The Amish culture is interesting and the local farmers markets are a great afternoon event. We loved Carriage Corner and do plan on returning for a second trip!

Everything about Carriage Corner B&B is inviting from the cozy living area to the immaculate bedrooms to the wonderful breakfast and conversation around the table. We have stayed at Carriage Corner two times now and each time was a delight. Gordon is a great host who goes out of his way to accommodate his guests. The price can't be beat and the guests keep coming back!

Had a pleasant stay at Carriage Corner. Gordon did a great job in ensuring that we had a pleasant time. His breakfasts were excellent! The accommodation was cosy, comfortable and had lovely decor.

We had room #3 (not sure of the name). Large room w/ a couch. The bed was very comfortable and had a large bathroom. Everything was very clean. There was literature on just about everything to do in the Lancaster area. Gordon helped w/ a map and directions. The breakfast meals were very well done and were above and beyond basics. Highly recommend.

Most comfortable stay in the Lemon Room, very convenient, and gracious host and hearty, delicious breakfasts.

My husband and I were thrilled with our beautifully furnished, comfortable room at the Carriage Corner B&B. Our breakfast was delicious as well. Gordon, the innkeeper, had many helpful suggestions which helped to make our stay in Lancaster County a memorable one.

It was our first experience with B & B and we were delighted in every way with our stay. Gordon was so helpful in advising us of places to visit and arranged for us to have dinner at an Amish home at our request. We looked at staying in Lancaster but the prices were too high for comfort. We chose Carriage Corner primarily for the price but it turned out that the location is much better then in Lancaster. Gordon was very helpful in directing us around the area and the tips and information he sent us before our stay was wonderful. The CD driving tour he has was really worth the time time to do it. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Carriage Corner B&B is truly one of the best weekend getaways I have been blessed to experience. Everything from gorgeous, quiet, serene surroundings to the wonderful hospitality of Gordon, made this place an absolute goldmine of a find. This B&B is clean, extremely comfortable, private and quaint, making this a MUST return B&B. There is plenty to see and experience for any length of stay. I will return to the Carriage Corner several times a year, just to relax and enjoy. If you like to run, the Country roads make it ALL WORTH WHILE, and if you enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, enjoy it outside in comfortable lawn chairs or in a romantic low lit gazebo.... Gordon was a great host and the B&B was absolutely beautiful. The house and the area are very picturesque and the room (we stayed in the Plum room because of Gordon's generosity) was very clean, spacious and tasteful. The bathroom was very clean as well and Gordon provided shampoo and shower gel. In the morning, Gordon made a delicious fresh breakfast for us and the other two guests. We truly recommend staying at Carriage Corner if you visit the area, you won't be disappointed!!

Mr. Gorden was a very nice gentleman and we enjoyed our stay. I was a little disappointed that the rooms were below ground level. Seems as though the basement was turned into rooms. The ventilation was not good and there were no overhead fans.

My husband and I have been coming to Lancaster for the last 3 years but this was our first stay at this bed and breakfast. We will definitely be returning again. The breakfasts were amazing and we enjoyed the conversations around the table. It was interesting getting to meet people from other areas. What can we say about Gordon? He made you feel right at home. He was very helpful with information about the area. Gordon goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast. You cannot find anything for this price and receive this kind of service!

We stayed in the Cranberry Room over Labor Day weekend. The room was beautiful and was priced reasonably. My husband and I would recommend Carriage Corner to anyone visiting Amish Country. Gordon provided delicious family style breakfasts and we left each morning full and ready to start the day. We would definitely stay here again!

We are from NH never been to the area. When we arrived Gordon showed us around his home and mapped out some must see sights (which I made into a place mat). Very helpful. He showed us some spots to eat, our first morning he offered us the most unbelievable offer,to have dinner with an Amish family.This was the one of highlights of our trips.It was an AWESOME experence. Everything about this B&B was right.It felt comfortable,warm & safe. Gordon was a great host !!! We can't wait to go again.

I stayed at Carriage Corner Bed and Breakfast with three teenagers and we were delighted by the service, the rooms and all the little extras the owner threw in. A really outstanding place which is excellent value for money on top of everything else.

We enjoyed our stay at Carriage Corner. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and Gordon, our host was very gracious. We felt as though we were at home!

If you want a clean, nice and pleasant place to stay for a minimum amount of money, this is the place for you. If you want a flexible, available host, then you may want to try another place. When I went upstairs to get an early cup of coffee (about 7:15 a.m.), I was told that the host didn't want people in the upstairs area until 7:30 and was begrudgingly given a cup of coffee to take back to my room. There was never an offer of cold drinks or bottled water from the frig as we've experienced in so many B&Bs. The breakfast was generous and complete, but lacked elegance; we were reminded often to not set our serving dishes on the table or central runner and the host's watchful eye made sure that we adhered to his wishes. Our host was full of helpful information about the area and made several outstanding recommendations for entertainment and dining. It was a pleasant experience all-in-all.

We had a very nice stay at the Carriage Corner B&B. The rooms were nicely decorated and super clean. Gordon was extremely helpful with suggestions for tours. I would definitely go to this B&B again if my travels take me back to Intercourse.

We had an amazing time at this B&B. The roomwas clean and quiet. The breakfasts were delicious and Gordon and Gwen are gracious hosts. It was nice to have a common room to share wine with our newly aquired Austrian friends!

The best part of our stay was sitting around the breakfast table with other guests sharing a hearty homecooked meal (cooked by the innkeeper himself), sharing stories and laughing together. It was delightful to sit outside after dinner and watch the local activities, and the buggies clip clopping along the road. Very clean, comfortable.

We stayed with Gordon for two nights and it was a pleasant stay. The rates were definitely unbeatable and the food was good. We are not religious people so saying Grace before breakfast was a bit uncomfortable but we didn't mind it. The rooms were clean though the bed was unbelievably squeaky and the mattress was not very comfortable. There was also some kind of tapping noises that woke us up at night. For the price, we had a great stay and recommend the B&B to budget travelers.

Upon reading the review, we responded to this report. We discovered that a previous issue had reoccured. Our furniture store rectified a similar squeek twice before, but our assessment was that our guests in that room would benefit by a new bed and so we purchased one. Thank you so much for your honest review, as we truly want our guests to have a relaxing and pleasant stay with us.

This was our first experience with a B&B so we were a bit nervous. As soon as we walked through the door, we were immediately put at ease! I wish my home was as clean as this place! We stayed in the Pineapple room, and although we were told it was small, my husband and I thought the size was perfectly fine. It is large enough for the bed, a desk, two chairs, plus our luggage. The bathroom was directly across the hall, and, in keeping with the rest of the house, spotless. The breakfast, as many have said, is the best around! Gordon cooks a wonderful variety with everything being incredibly delicious. We loved starting the meal with prayer and getting to know the other guests. Gordon and Gwen were so warm and helpful. Be sure to ask them about the driving tour and the walking path! At night, we enjoyed sitting in the chairs in the front yard, watching the fireflies as well as the horse and buggies trotting by. We didn't have any complaints and hope to return soon :)

The features marked outstanding above are important but the most significant aspects of our stay were the hospitable atmosphere in Carriage Corner and the warmth, good humour and conviviality of the host, Gordon Schuit. Could not have had a better place to stay, Gordon and his wife are fantastic hosts and very knowledgeable about the area and its residents. The people of PA are generious and caring folks.

We are always greeted with a friendly smile by a welcoming host who serves a GOURMET breakfast in his beautiful home!!! You will not leave his table hungry!!!! He knows the local area well & is very helpful with planning your activities. Very nice little B & B. Very clean, nice rooms. Good price, fresh made breakfast. Innkeeper is a bit rigid and uptight. The hallway and rooms have an overwhelming perfume smell because there is sachet and popouri in each room, so if one is sensitive to perfume that is a problem.

This was our second stay at Carriage Corner B&B, and it was just as enjoyable as our first stay two years ago. The accommadations were perfect for our needs. The room was bright, fresh and clean, and well decorated. And the breakfasts were superb!

Carriage Corner is our favorite B&B when visiting Intercourse, PA. This was our fourth stay and as always we enjoyed every minute. We highly recommend Carriage Corner to friends and family and look forward to returning in the fall.

My wife and I enjoyed staying here immensely! It was my wife's first experience with a B&B, and it met all of her expectations! Gordon was very helpful and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. And the breakfasts he prepared were perfect, and more than enough! After having one of his breakfasts, you needn't bother with lunch! The Amish area is fantastic and one of my favorite areas to visit. I wish we could have spent more time there. Laying awake at night, hearing the clip clop of the Amish horse and buggies going past was very soothing (I left the window open just for this reason). It is amazing how they have integrated their lives into the area. Or maybe it is the other way around?

Had a good time. Carriage Corner was maintained very well. Loved the pancakes. I enjoyed the selection of books in my room. A nice touch.

Gordon is a warm and humorous host! He is also an excellent cook! We had a great stay, and felt very relaxed in this beautiful, cosy and hospitable b&b. We took a walk around the neighborhood on the evening of our stay and it was peaceful and delightful to be in a small town away from the hustle and bustle of a big city (we had just come from New York that day). Certainly it was a big attraction for us to experience something of the Amish way of life and there is a HUGE amount to explore and do in the area. However, it adds a certain icing on the cake to be staying in a B&B that has books on the history and culture of the Amish, and itself embodies the Amish values of kindness, love and forgiveness. It was wonderful to just stay here for one night. We felt that we had received much more than the price of our stay. I would definitely recommend this B&B, expecially if you are in need of refreshment and peace. Try and stay for more than one night if you can!

Anyone wishing to enjoy the Amish Country in PA. need to find and make a reservation to stay at the Carriage Corner Bed and Breakfast. The pictures don't do justice. Wonderful rooms and great breakfast. We found this B&B to be a great place to stay and the owner very accomodating. Only a few blocks away from Kitchen Village shops. It was great to watch Amish children play across the street at a school at lunch time! We recommend it to everyone!

Nestled in the heart of Amish country is the Carriage Corner. It is off the main highway and very quiet. Enjoy your day traveling with horse and buggies on the road beside you and have a comfortable evening at the Carriage Corner. The oatmeal and blueberry pancakes were wonderful and sharing with other guests all of our travel plans was great.

It is hard to find words suitable to describe my recent stay at Carriage Corner. Accomodation - spotless, cosy, homely to start. Hosts: Gordon & Gwen will always be very special people to me. I was travelling solo, my few days in Intercourse a break from the big city. I was welcomed into the family home immediately Gordon's determination that I did not miss out on getting the most from the area because I was car less is something I will always appreciate. The layout of the house ensured that all the guests got to meet each other and converse and I personally have made friends whom I have no doubt will be meeting with again sometime in the future, while still allowing more than enough opportunity to relax and have some private time. As well as meeting wonderful people, I was introduced to an entirely new cusine sampling some authentic PA foods cooked and presented beautifully by Gordon daily. The area is lovely also great for a relaxing few days, lots of areas to explore and it is true, the location is perfect for getting a great insight into Amish life. I could go on and on - listen people if you are going to PA. Lancaster county, do not even think of looking elsewhere for accomodation - Carriage Corner should be your only choice - it will be mine next time I go to PA.

Meeting new "friends" while sharing a delicious breakfast made our stay there so much nicer than staying at a motel. The personal touches made us feel special, too. Great choice for a short "escape"!
