Innkeepers Description:
Avid downhill skiers and travelers, Frank & Carolyn began Westwynd Farm, a horse training and boarding operation over 20 years ago They realized a long held dream when the Inn opened in the fall of 2002. Frank,also owns Frank Foreign Cars. He successly road raced and hill climbed a Formula Ford and other cars. Carolyn, a retired Bank Marketing director counts among her hobbies gardening,cooking and community service. Both sing in their church choir.

This was an amazingly charming B&B. The staff was super friendly and made a person feel right at home. It is a great feeling to smell cookies and brownies baking in the oven everyday. I booked the Inn as a Christmas present to my partner and thought it would be a nice romantic getaway and it definitely met that expectation. The rooms were very clean and inviting. The only problem I found was that four days before our visit I contacted them to let them know dietary restrictions (no meat, fish or eggs). I'm not sure whether they received the email or maybe I should have followed up again when I got there, but there were eggs for breakfast each day, as well as other things. I made due and it wouldn't stop me from going there again, but I thought I would be good to include in the review. I highly recommend The Inn at Westwynd and will definitely be going back.

We pride ourselves on accomodating special dietary needs. I am so very sorry yours were not met. I can't imagine what could have happened... but we will certainly discuss it with our staff. I have been sidelined with a badly broken leg but even though I can not be in the kitchen we are working hard to continue to pamper our guests. I do hope you will give us a second chance to create some wonderful breakfasts just for you.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Westwynd. The service and warmth we received from Carolyn and Frank was a difference maker, like spending time with old friends. The opportunity to walk the grounds and spend an afternoon with the horses allowed for relaxation beyond my expectations. The close proximity to so many things to enjoy and do was also a plus and reason to head back. We will be visiting again.

This was the best place we have ever stayed. The accommodations were above and beyond our expectations. The room we stayed in was beautiful and it comfortable. The staff (Jane) was perfect. I would recommend this to everyone of my friends and family. We are already planning on returning next year and for years after.
