I gladly try to correct problems and accomodate my guests whenever I can. In october the weather can be unpredictable warmer during the day and sometimes the temperature does drop at night.I sometimes leave keys when I do not personally check-in guests after midnight,if guests do not eat breakfast I have no way to double checking details,a decision I will think twice about in the future. I am really sorry these guests had a poor experience.

I am sorry I did not give much history about the inn. The house itself is historic, however the family who once owned it are founders of a large company and only so much historic details can be shared with guests. Also I purchased the home in a state of disrepair(a question that always enters into this discussion)with my late husband Richard. He has since died at the early age of 32. It is hard for me sometimes to talk about my experience refurbishing the inn. It took me an entire year and my husband died the following year. Hearing this upsets most guests and I have chosen not to mention it at times. I continue to run the inn with my two very young children (and friend and his two children). I make it a point to get them (all four children)ready and go to church each Sunday. I still like to make time for my faith. For those who do attend a church, most only offer mass a few times each morning. So my guests do not have to get up very early for breakfast or wait until much later to eat, I go to a service in the middle of the morning. Serving breakfast at my usual time 9:00am a half an hour before leaving for church. Letting guests know I am going. I am sorry for an misunderstandings these guests may have had regarding my service. I guess I will mention my attending church Sunday mornings to guests when they check-in from now on, that way guests will not feel surprised or think I am being impolite. I didn't mean it that way.
