    The Gibson House is the only bed and breakfast actually located within Hershey. Five comfortable and affordable guest rooms, private baths, full breakfast, walking distance to Hersheypark and Hershey attractions, walking distance to restaurants and convenient to Harrisburg, Lancaster and Gettysburg. At The Gibson House, it is our goal to provide you with a traditional home-like atmosphere, quality accommodations with a personal touch, and outstanding hospitality, all steeped in Victorian charm. We graciously intend to make your stay both comfortable and memorable. It is our wish to provide you a refreshing departure from the typical “corporate” feel of hotel lodging, while still providing excellent accommodations and services. Our establishment is smoke-free (smoking outdoors only), unable to accommodate pets or children under 7 years of age.

    Reservation Policy

    • Minimum stay: 2 night minimum on weekends, 3 night minimum on holiday weekends

    • Deposit amount required: A credit card is required to hold the reservation.

    • Cancellations: Reservations: To avoid disappointment, advance reservations are recommended. A credit card guarantee must be provided at the time the reservation is made, or your reservation will be canceled. A minimum stay requirement may apply on Holiday Weekends and on any weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Payment for the entire reservation is due upon arrival. Cancellations: Due to the limited number of guest rooms, cancellations of all confirmed reservations must be made at least 5 days (Holiday and Special Event reservations require at least 10 days) prior to your arrival date, otherwise, we reserve the right to charge for one night's stay for each room reserved, if canceled on short notice. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of actual arrival or departure date. Visits shortened AFTER ARRIVAL will be charged for total number of nights reserved, NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED FOR TOTAL NUMBER OF NIGHTS RESERVED. .

    I showed up with out a reservation, he left the resturaunt to come home and check me in, very pleasant host, great location to Hershey's Chocolate World and dining and cultural events, a wonderful cook, very nice home, my room was great with all the emmenities. Steve K

    We were a bit cautious as we had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. We loved it. It was welcoming and comfortable.

    We just returned from two days at the Gibson House. I am so glad that we stayed here instead of getting a hotel room. The location was perfect. We had our bicycles with us and biked around town, taking in some of the local character. We biked to Chocolate World, the Hershey Story, and dining. Tom, the owner, was an amazing host. Everything was clean and taken care of for us. A guest fridge came in handy for those left overs. Tom's breakfasts were incredible. We had blueberry french toast and broccoli quiche. Coffee was on early - the front porch the perfect place to enjoy a cup with a book before the rest of the world got going. We'd love to return!

    This is the second time we stayed with Tom at The Gibson House and we continue to be amazed by the hospitality, cleanliness and comfort provided to us. Tom is the perfect host...never imposing yet always right there for any assistance necessary. The Inn is spotless, clean and charming, and provides a welcoming warmth from the first time you step on the curb until you say your last "Good-Byes", or more likely, your "See you again real soon"'s!
