The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated and clean. The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated. The breakfasts were delicious. In the dining room, cookies were available everyday for a snack as well as tea. There was a guest refrigerator... read more

We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Hanover in an historical house. The accomodations were great, the hosts were outstanding, and the breakfast was one of the best my wife and I have ever had at a B&B.

Our room was not quite as expected/bathroom so small it was not user friendly. Television was also small. The room was in the front of the B&B/street noise made it difficult to sleep at night. Breakfasts were good, but not outstanding.... read more

Innkeeper Response
Thanks so much for your comments. May we make a suggestion? We have no idea of who you are or when you stayed with us, but whenever you are not happy with a room selection, please talk to the innkeeper. We are happy to offer another room that may better suit your needs, assuming one is available. We can't do that if we don't know your thoughts. The first owners of The Beechmont faced challenges in creatively positioning bathrooms within the rooms, challenges faced by owners of any property originally built in the early nineteenth century. Hawthorne has a small bathroom, which is one of the reasons it is one of our most affordable rooms. Thank you again for offering your comments. They're always helpful in understanding how guests view their experiences and how we can improve our services.

The whole experience was peaceful, restful and full of the little town charm we were looking for. One night when we were out for a walk and noticed the RED HAT ladies in the little book store. They waved and I felt like I was in a scene from a movie.

Review The Beechmont Inn, Hanover, PA

Photo Album

Thomas and Kathryn White, originally from St. Louis, arrived in Hanover in 2000 when they purchased The Beechmont. They're looking forward to meeting and welcoming you to The Beechmont!Magnolia inspires sweet dreams! Located on the first floor, it features a four-poster queen bed, wing-back chairs for reading, and a jetted tub and separate shower.
With its yellow walls and morning sun, Birch is a bright and cheery room. It's on the second floor, overlooks the garden, and has a queen pencil post bed and combination tub and shower. In a romantic mood? Linden's fireplace may be electric but it creates a warm and wonderful ambiance. Te room on the second floor with windows to the front and side of the inn has a queen bed.
Hawthorne is a large room on the second floor that stretches across the front of the inn. The room is perfect for travelers who require two queen beds (maximum occupancy is three). The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting throughout the inn is your first indication that breakfast is almost ready. Our homemade entrees feature fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables, and locally produced sausages and bacon. Warm hospitality and plenty of great conversation complete your breakfast at The Beechmont.
Guests love sitting out on our porch or patios. Our 140-year-old magnolia tree is the focus of our gardens, which are planted with flowers that bloom from spring through fall.Sit back, relax, read a book, enjoy some conversation! The Beechmont has several porches and patios for you to enjoy.
Garden Gate has a private entrance off the garden and small sitting room. Its gas logs are located in a cast iron stove tucked in the corner; you'll love its jetted shower that eases sore muscles and tension!
