The Herr Tavern & Publick House

Originally built as a Publick House, this 1815 Federal-style building became the site of the first Confederate stand and hospital during the Civil War. Two common rooms overlook the historic area from Peace Light to Little Round Top. Each of the romantic suites feature a fireplace, most offer double Jacuzzis. The Garden Room also boasts a round bed, microwave, refrigerator and private deck. Adjacent Annex provides five rooms with Jacuzzi's, fireplaces and private decks. Enjoy a wonderful country breakfast in the restaurant, as well as afternoon tea and snacks. Stroll the landscaped grounds with two watergarden ponds. Banquet and meeting facilities on premise.
