George and Alexandra were the most gracious hosts we've had in a long time! The inn feels like Grandma's house, very comfortable and inviting. Alexandra's breakfast's were works of art and almost too beautiful to eat but too good not to!

We had a great stay at Raphael Inn. George and Alexandra were gracious hosts. They were extremely helpful in giving us suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Its a very delightful eclectic place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at Raphael Inn and I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. We met our hosts who were very attentive and made sure our stay was perfect. Our room was very comfortable, we slept well, had a nice sized TV mounted to swivel toward bed or living room. At the stairway landing, a fridge stocked with cold drinks and water for guests on their way out for the day, as well as chocolate candies and other snacks. The breakfasts were excellent and served in 3 courses, delicious fruits, tasty breads, and main course. Alexandra shared her secret with us for the best bacon I've ever had. I tried it and it works!! Every morning the presentation of our breakfast was wonderful and so plentiful we did not stop for lunch. I cannot say enough good things, but one of the best parts is the wonderful hosts Alexandra, George, their Wonder Dog Heidi, and little Wonder Olive. Thank you for making our stay memorable. The Raphael Inn in Gettysburg is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast inn. The hosts, George and Alexandra are helpful and full of information about local sights and restaurants. The breakfasts were outstanding--omelettes and French toast with delicious fresh fruit. Most importantly, there are the two canine hosts of the Inn--Heidi and Olive, known as the "Wonder Dogs". If you are missing your own pets while vacation, Heidi and Olive are there for lots of petting and playing. Don't miss out on the Raphael Inn on your trip to Gettysburg!!

Everything you would expect in a B&B and more. The food was exceptional. Assistance in seeing the sights was beyond our expectations. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our hosts were accommodating.

Alexandra and George are exceptional hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Alexandra rates a 10+ for offering suggestions about places to visit beyond the immediate area and for setting us up with an excellent tour guide while in Gettysburg. Our trip would not have been nearly as memorable without her friendliness and ideas. Very pleasant, comfortable, clean and great attention to detail.

I really enjoyed my trip to Gettysburg, it was made extra special by my stay at the Raphael Inn. Alexandra and George are great! From my initial phone call to reserve a room they were very helpful in suggestions to make my stay more interesting. They were quick to point out that the Gettysburg Memorial Day parade would be worthwhile seeing on my way to the Inn. They are very knowledgeable about the town, the best out of the way places to eat, and they always seemed to know what to suggest! The breakfasts they served were wonderful , especially the fruit plates!

My wife and I stayed at the inn for our 26th anniversary. We've stayed at several B&Bs in Gettysburg, but I will say the breakfast at the Raphael was the best!! Great location with quick access to the main part of town. Very enjoyable and highly recommended

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Raphael Inn in late February. Its owners, Alexandra and George, are warm, hospitable and very helpful. The inn is wonderfully decorated, clean and comfortable with many amenities (sitting areas, a good book collection, screened front porch, a convenient mini-fridge). It is quiet yet conveniently located (four blocks from downtown Gettysburg, one block from Gettysburg College, 2.0 miles from the Gettysburg National Park Visitor Center). The breakfasts are delicious. All around great place to stay.
