About

A Home away from Home! Baladerry Inn is located at the edge of the Gettysburg Battlefield near Little Round Top. This Circa 1812 brick Federal-style home served as a hospital during the war between the states. A large two-storied great room dominated by a massive brick fireplace serves as both a dining and gathering area. A brick terrace, off the great room, provides an outdoor area for socializing, while a gazebo affords a private place of tranquillity.

Lovely inn!

5 on August 29, 2014

We only stayed at Baladerry Inn for one night, but it was the nicest place we stayed on our road trip. We received a friendly welcome, our room was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious. The fact that treats and coffee (or tea, or waters) were readily available at all times was just icing on the cake.

Great Stay at the Baladerry

5 on August 27, 2014

We enjoyed two nights at the Baladerry a quiet rural location but next to the battlefield and only a mile from the visitor center, Judy and Ken were terrific welcoming hosts. The rooms were well appointed and spotless. We stayed in the Rose room and several times a day sat on the patio and watched deer graze on the lawn. Breakfast was delicious and served with a cheerful smile and pleasant word by Connie who assisted Judy. Gettysburg may not be a future destination but the Baladerry will be. Make a reservation if you want a few days of total relaxation in a wonderful B & B.

Truly perfect

Honestly zero negative things to say. Extremely nice people, very clean, made you feel 100% welcome, great food, and made you feel comfortable. We will recommend and return!!

Honeymoon Stay

5 on August 20, 2014

I booked the Cottage Rose Suite for my honeymoon. The rooms make you feel right at home and cozy. Our innkeepers Judy and Kenny are amazing people and Judy serves a yummy three course breakfast and even made things that my picky eater of a hubby really enjoyed! My husband and I loved our trip to Gettysburg and being so close to the battle fields but I can say that staying at the Baladerry Inn B&B is what made the trip! We officially made this our anniversary destination for next year!! ¿¿ Brandi & Stan Ford

Gettysburg PA B & B review

4.8 on August 13, 2014

The owners thought of everything possible to create a homey and comfortable environment for their guests. Our main regret was not staying long enough to enjoy all the amenities nor the lovely grounds.

Innkeeper Response
Wish you could have stayed longer also, love having guest here and seeing them enjoy the property. I think it is also important for everyone to kick back and relax whenever they can in this busy world!

Great vacation, great Bed and Breakfast

Best we've found in Gettysburg

5 on August 11, 2014

Great location, out in the country, but a short distance from Gettysburg. Judy and Kenny are great hosts. We choose a room in the original house. the Vines, and the room was very nice. The breakfast the next day was outstanding. Will definately come back!

Baladerry Birthday!

4.8 on August 08, 2014

Owners, Judy & Ken, are wonderful hosts: warm, friendly, obviously love what they do! Suite is sunny and comfortable, and looks out on some of the most beautiful land ever.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks so much and we are thankful for all of our guest who appreciate what we strive for here at the Baladerry! Enjoy and Happy Birthday! Glad we were a part of it!

AMAZING & PEACEFUL!

5 on August 06, 2014

My husband and I decided upon staying at the Baladerry Inn this past weekend, and all we can say is we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else! Coming from the country we both like our privacy and getting away from it all. After long days of touring Gettysburg it was so quiet and peaceful to return to the Baladerry at the end of the day. There is even a large firepit that sits near the woods to sit and relax. Less than a few minutes to get to it all still out in the country. Judy & Kenny were so kind and made you feel like family. The breakfast was so delicious the first thing my husband did was buy Judy's cookbook. Not only did we fall in love with the town and history of Gettysburg but we fell in love with the Baladerry inn and even though we just left 3 days ago, we have already started making our plans to return next July for the re-enactments and of course, stay there again. The rooms are so clean and comfortable and neither of us wanted to leave. Thank you Judy & Kenny for making us feel at home. God Bless, and we will see you next July!! Chris & Monica Berrier
