From the time we arrived Bonnie made us feel at home and welcome to share her house. The room was beautiful and clean. The view from the top of the hill wonderful. I have nothing negative to say about this B&B and our stay here. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

There are no locks on the outside of room doors-thus if you leave your room it is unlocked. This should be in the description so you. Know it going into it. There are also several unusual requests made of guests. Lovely rooms (except that her idea of a recliner is an office chair that tilts- not serviceable if truly need a recliner. That food was excellent.

I was trying to avoid reviewing this experience but you guys dont stop emailing me. I had difficulty getting a key to the little house I rented, and then I found out that the door doesn't really lock easily which had be a bit unnerved. I was able to lock the screen door but that's the screen door. The overhead fan squeaked so i was forced to use AC which then froze me up. The breakfast was good and plenty but these little things (door not locking overnight more than little , i don't care how "safe" the neighborhood is) mean I would not stop there again. Just sayin'.
I am sorry you were uncomfortable, and didn't mention these details to us when you were here. We cannot fix what we don't know about. I discovered you are right about not being able to lock both doors. Seems when the screen door is locked, it puts pressure on the main door latch, preventing it from locking. We put on the screen door so people can sleep comfortably without air conditioning by opening the window and solid door for cross breezes. Our mountain top location brings cool nights much of the summer. We are fortunate to live in a part of the world where multiple locks are not needed. The AC unit has an adjustable thermostat - to cool as much or little as you like. If you had asked, we could have quickly solved the problem. I didn't hear a squeak in the fan, but gave it a shot of WD-40 just in case. When you rent a little cabin in the woods, there's little to fear - especially when the neighbor is a police officer. Please come back, and give us a 2nd chance. A suite in the main house will probably be more to your liking.

My wife and I had enjoyed ourselfs very much being this was our first time ever going to a B&B. We would like to return again and this time a longer stay.
It was a pleasure to have you stay with us. I'm glad we give you a good reason to continue to stay at a B&B. The neat thing about B&B's is that each one is different.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Joy Suite the weekend of Feb. 21st. We have stayed with Bonnie and Paul before (last year around this time); we were in the Dream Suite during that visit. Every time we stay there, all we end up talking about is how soon we can come back again. We are fans of everything about this place...the secluded, quiet atmosphere...the breakfast (try the baked oatmeal. It will change your life)...and, especially the owners. Bonnie and Paul hadn't seen us in a year and when we showed up on their doorstep again, they treated us like old friends. The view of the surrounding area was phenomenal, there was lots to do during the day (the owners suggested we go to Lititz. We did. Had a really good time), and the atmosphere was utterly relaxing. I have nothing negative to say about either of our stays at Tree Top. We had a great time, both times, and can't wait to get back there. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking to stay at a quality establishment. And, try the baked oatmeal. Seriously.
