The Lafayette Inn

The staff was exceptionally nice and the owners are wonderful. We had everything available that we could have asked for.

The Inn was lovely and we needed a glass of wine (or two) after a birthday party we had to attend. It seemed the walls were a bit thin. Our bed was against another rooms wall and we heard their entire conversation during the day while we were resting prior to going out. Restaurant the Inn recommended was wonderful and BYOB. The breakfast was outstanding and the service was great too. You have to keep in mind that this is a college town so be prepared around 2AM to hear some youngsters coming home from the bars.

We stayed one night. Service was good, room clean, price right. Only concern was privacy (could hear neighbors and children running in hallway)

We chose the area of Easton Pennsylvania primarily because we wanted to visit the Martin Guitar Company located in Nazareth. We used the Select Registry to find the Lafayette Inn. We were extremely pleased with the accommodations at the Inn. The location was great. We also went to Bethlehem and attended a concert at the Stage Theatre in Easton which was lovely. The room we stayed in was very nice with a private entrance and a whirlpool tub. The breakfast was delicious and the added touch of 24 hour access to cake and coffee and wine and cheese on the weekend late afternoons was a plus. The Lafayette College was a great place to go for a walk. The innkeeper was extremely helpful providing information on where to dine and what to see. We would definitely recommend the Lafayette Inn and would make a return trip in the future.

The room was beautiful. The food was great. There was wine and cheese in the evening. Cake and sodas 24-7 in the lovely living room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Good service, but it felt like a hotel rather than a B&B. I really expected more. Breakfast was average rather than outstanding.

We were impressed with the innkeepers and their assistant, who were very welcoming. We received excellent suggestions regarding area restaurants and attractions. All areas of the inn were well maintained (rooms, parlor, breakfast area, deck) and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail was taken care of! We had a great time.

The minute we walked into the Lafayette we smelled baked goods and had a warm welcome. My daughter (3yrs) felt so comfortable that she took off her shoes at the door and said where's Papa (grandpa). The inn just felt like home from the exquisite breakfast in the sun room to the parlor that had free freshly baked treats, coffee and classical music to sooth any hardened New Yorkers soul. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. If you have kids the Crayola Factory package beats any local offer. Enjoy this home away from home. Best experience we've had in a long time.

Our stay at the Lafayette Inn was perfect. It's an old mansion restored to a state of loveliness & grace. Rooms are large, romantic, & comfortable. The salon has big, comfortable furniture in several conversation areas-- includes books, current newspapers & magazines, a fire, a piano, even a complimentary coffee bar with homemade pastries. Breakfast is hearty and made to order. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. Everyone seems to be glad they're there. You will be hard pressed to find anything lacking at this lovely inn.

Charming decor, and very comfortable rooms. Attentive, personable hosts and staff. Fresh and tasty breakfast selectons, with snacks available in common room throughout the day. Very pleasant.

Fell in love with this place immediatelyl. The baked goods were amazing, as was breakfast, and the rooms were so very charming! Feels like someone's home.

After a hectic day of moving our son into his room at Lafayette College it was so refreshing to walk into the parlor of the Inn where wine and cheese were waiting for us while we checked in. The suite we stayed in was very clean and nicely done. Breakfast next morning was great-baked eggs and fried potatoes and the NYTimes. One of the best Inn's we've stayed in.

I was googling 'Romantic Weekend Getaways'. This inn came up. What caught my eyes was that they welcomed pets. We have a 5 month old yorkie. It was an outstanding stay, they were amazing. We will absolutely return again! Keep it up!

The inn was elegant, yet not 'stuffy'. Our breakfasts were well planned and delicious. The owners are gracious, kind, friendly and perfectionists (in a good way!)!

We wanted to stay at the Lafayette Inn one time before our son graduates in May. We found it delightful, wonderfully charming and very comparable to local hotels we have used in the past. The $ 175.00 room was a touch pricey, but the lovely Sunday morning breakfast and the prime location near campus offset this cost issue. We would highly recommend!

Laura & Paul are great hosts/inn-keepers and wonderful cooks. Breakfast never tasted so good. We love the personal touches around the Inn, the parlor, the warm and inviting decor. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and super super clean. Totally a place to relax and enjoy your sourroundings.

this inn was a very pleasant inn to retreat to after drives of the freeway etc. the staff was welcoming and accommodating. we felt at home in the warm inviting surroundings
