Maplewood Farm

Such a nice place - great view of their sheep grazing in the field. Great location - short drive to shops, galleries, museums, dining and hike/bike trails of New Hope, Doylestown, Lambertville. Wonderful hospitality, cozy, very well maintained rooms, delicious and beautifully prepared breakfasts. Have enjoyed three stays over the past ten or so years...can't wait to go back.

We had an amazing time at the Maplewood Farm. The B&B is adorable and the people are so nice! We would come back any time!!

I would highly recommend this B&B. The hosts were wonderful people and the food was outstanding. The rooms were small, but very cozy. It was also close to Peddler's Village, New Hope and Doylestown. I will definitely be returning.

My wife and I were so impressed by the setting, the calmness and the beauty of the Maplewood Farm. Cindy was an incredible host and we plan on coming back at least every year. It was exactly what we needed to get away from our hectic lives and we came back home rejuvenated and with fond memories of our visit. My husband and I had never stayed in a B&B in the Doylestown area before, so I'll admit we did a little shopping around before picking Maplewood Farm. I'm so glad we did! After "peeking in" at some of the other places we had considered before our vacation, I feel confident that we found the best value here. We stayed in the loft, which was prettier in person than in the photos :) Cindy and Dennis were wonderful hosts and breakfast is not to be missed. We will definitely be back!

The Innkeepers were very attentive and extremely friendly. The breakfast was wonderful.

I stayed for business purposes. Cindy was very welcoming. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, w/no good explanation or apology. Breakfast was strange w/grapefruit and chocote chip muffins.

Unfortunately there was no good explanation for the alarm going off, but I did apologize. They are hard-wired and the electrician said sometimes even a small spider can set them off. I can't remember the last time that happened, I get them checked regularly. I had other guests at the Inn that mid-week morning and breakfast started out with grapefruit, scrambled eggs that I gathered fresh that morning, a homemade chocolate chip muffin and a red riped sliced tomato.

Room was very spacious, but the sloped roof/ceiling made it very hard to get in and out of bed. Bathroom was also cramped and did not have great lighting. Lack of closet space was also a problem. Bottom line is that I expected more for the price.

A previous guest of the Petite Bouquet room once said to me as I found myself apologizing for the smallness of the room: "if I wanted a cookie cutter room, I would have stayed at a hotel, this is what a true bed & breakfast experience is all about." The "value" of the experience is more than the price, it's the friendly conversation over breakfast, a sip of sherry in the living room, refreshments available throughout the day, watching the sheep in the pastures, taking a nature walk to the creek or splashing in the crystal clear swimming pool. Our website is complete, we have five difference guestrooms. The potential guest makes their choice...yes, there are no closets, but we have pegs for hanging clothes, and bureau's for putting clothes away. If lighting in the bathroom is not adequate for some, there are mirrors in the bedroom that can be used as well. We appreciate any and all comments. We strive to do the best with what we have, and will continue to do so. Thank you and hope to see you soon!

My husband and I stayed for a Friday and Saturday night in Fall 2011. We had a very lovely stay in the country. The innkeeper Cindy made us feel welcome. The area was very nice and we had a lovely time driving around & seeing a variety of things. Breakfast was a special highlight. Cindy actually cooks breakfast for each couple. A real treat were eggs from her own hens.

We stayed at Maplewood this past weekend on August 13th, 2011. What a great B&B! Cindy and Dennis were extremely accommodating and their home is so comforting and relaxing!! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The area is quiet and peaceful. They have a beautiful built in ground pool with plants and flowers all around it but it was unfortunate for us that it rained all weekend so we could not take a dip in the pool. Bummer! Breakfast was awesome. They have their own chicken coup in the backyard so we had fresh eggs right from the chickens! Don't know exactly how Cindy cooked the eggs but they were the best I've ever eaten!! Cooked to perfection along with a homemade blueberry muffin and tasy homefries! The coffee was fresh gound and just great! They have a very friendly black lab named Lucy who is just a lover of people!! I am not a big fan of dogs but Lucy is one dog that I would love to have in my house!! Sweet and lovable! Didn't bark once! I would rate this place a 10 out of 10! There is no room for improvement. I have stayed other nice B&B's and this one is on the top of my list!! Will be back here for sure! If you want to stay at a reasonably priced nice B&B near New Hope & Peddlers Village away from the tourist places, then this place is for you. They are not far from New Hope(maybe 10-15 minutes) away from all the crowds.

My wife and I stayed at Maplewood Farms B&B over the long Memorial Day weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect! Cindy and Dennis are fantistic and friendly. Their dog Lucy is a welcome addition for any animal lover and their farm/inn is absolutely beautiful! Cindy is a wonderful hostess and her blueberry pancakes are to die for! The rooms were exceptionally clean, the breakfast was outstanding. The entire inn is simply perfect! There is alot of shopping and restaurants within driving distance and though the inn is located a little further out than some of the others in the area we thought that was great! We were able to enjoy all the area has to offer but still enjoy quiet and alone time in the evenings. The cost of the room was very reasonable! This place is absoultely perfect! We have definately added it to our list of return weekend getaways! My only suggestion for Cindy and Dennis is that they increase their rates because honestly everything was way to perfect for the price!!! Thanks to Cindy and Dennis for their hopsitality, friendliness and allowing us to enjoy a beautiful weekend at their wonderful inn! Oh and don't forget to pack your bathing suit because the swimming pool is great for evening swim! WE WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK!!!!

I am being re-located and needed a place to stay 4 nites a week till my house is ready. Being able to drive to the Doylestown train station and ride into Centre City and walk to the office was great. I was able to drink my coffee and read the WJ in a relaxing atmosphere. Then coming back in the evening I was able to wind down without distractions. Morning breakfast was great as was the room and the inn keepers. You will really enjoy your stay.

A great choice: very comfortable, quiet, spotless, great breakfast. Less than fifteen minutes to the center of Doylestown. Good restaurants nearby.

We found a very warm atmosphere in a very old and charming house. Breakfast was really good.

Maplewood farm is a great B&B with a very pleasant farm setting. The inkeepers were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The location is rural, but only 10 minutes from New Hope or Doylestown. Highly recommended.

My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary inn Bucks and stayed here for 2 days. Our room was very clean, the hosts were very friendly and open. The only noise was the sheep from the farm (in other words, it's peaceful). I liked it because it was a bit farther from New Hope than most other places, but still one could drive to the many attractions in the area.

I had a great stay at maplewood. The breakfast was outstanding and everything was very clean with a pleasant host family.

We stayed here for one night and it was absolutely an amazing experience. The owner is a sweetheart, the two dogs there are very friendly and probably kid friendly! The breakfast was very good, homemade. The only thing is, it's easy to miss, i missed it twice! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are cozy and well decorated. Really Nice B and B, will come back!

We were welcomed by a great family with a beautiful, well maintained farm. Enjoyed the walks on the grounds accompanied by the family labs. Exceptional breakfast! Will return.

My husband surprised me with a night at Maplewood. I can't wait to go back! Cindy was so pleasant, it was so cozy and so home like. We took a nice hot shower on such a cold day! I had the best night sleep of my life. Then we went to breakfast and had a wonderful meal. She even had a box of chocolates in a heart for Valentines Day! It was so great, so clean and just one of my favorite memories! I am trying to already plan our next trip! I would recommend to anyone that just wants a quite, cozy time away! I also enjoyed the two labs, they were cute!

We stay at this B&B every time we visit New Hope, PA. Innkeepers are wonderful, friendly and rooms are clean and pretty.

If you want a place to stay that feels like home, then I would recommend the Maplewood Farm B&B. From the moment you arrive Cindy and Dennis make you feel like part of the family. Not only are the rooms amazing (I've stayed in all of them) but so are the grounds. But I would have to say that my all time Favorite thing at the B&B would have to be the OUTSTANDING dishes that are served up for breakfast!

Maplewood Farms is nicely decorated and our room was comfortable and immaculate. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer. Would definitely stay again! An added bonus were their two Labrador Retrievers Lucy and Tootsie who greeted us and made us feel at home.
