Each of our comfortable bedrooms has a story, such as this one, the Rush Room, named for the original owner of the house, Jacob Rush. Granny's Room was named for Grandma Enos who is listed in Ripley's "Believe It Or Not" as the oldest performing majorette at the age of 75! Come hear their stories.Enjoy a relaxing breakfast on our large wrap-around porch as you watch the ducks play in the Laurel Hill Creek.
Who would believe that this peaceful river is filled with fishermen (and women) on the first day of trout season each spring? The other rivers that form the confluence boast more active sports such as rafting and kayaking. Scenes like this can also be viewed as you bike or hike the Allegheny Highlands Trail.History is all around us. This is the Lower Humbert Covered Bridge, built in the late 1800's and still used today. Also vist Fort Necessity, Old Petersburg Toll House, Fallingwater, Kenntuck Knob, Old Jersey Church, and more.
