Exit 5 (Lima, Springfield)and turn left at first opportunity toward Lima which takes you onto Route 1 South. Continue south past Granite Run Mall on right and Franklin Mint on left. Turn right onto Darlington Road which is 1 mile south of Franklin Mint. To 1/10 mile to the first street on the left which is Indian Springs Drive. Turn left onto Indian Springs Drive and go to the top of the hill. The driveway to Hamanassett is just before the cul de sac on the right. The house sits way back from the street and may be hard to see.

    Our carriage house is 1100 square feet of English Country charm tucked into the trees behind the main house on a seven acre estate. Pet and child friendly or for those who want a little more privacy. Large fully stocked and equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, powder room. King and queen beds, both with private full bath, sleeps six with use of sleeper sofa in living room. Ask about extended, corporate rates. $300.00-450.00/night w 2 night minimum.

    • Cancellations:
      10 days notice or forfeit deposit unless room is rebooked. A $25.00 per room per night service fee is charged on all cancellations. Holidays and carriage house have 30 day cancellation period. Carriage house has 10% cancellation fee.

    Relax and unwind in the living room. Select a book from our library, play the piano, or just enjoy visiting with old and new friends.
    Although near all major Brandywine Valley attractions, Hamanassett sits at the top of a hill and is surrounded by woodlands and gardens.The Windsor is one of our guests' favorite bedrooms. It features a 10 foot high antique rosewood half tester bed. The ceilings in this room are 12 feet high and the room is over 400 square feet with a large attached bathroom. All of the bedrooms and baths at Hamanassett are large and all feature English amenities, luxurious robes, in room coffee makers, clock radios with CD player and TVs with VCR.
