A luxurious retreat in a historical setting, this 20 acre farm features a circa 1797 stone and brick farmhouse and large well appointed rooms filled with luxurious linens, fireplaces, feather topped beds and private baths. Minutes from downtown Carlisle, Yellow Breeches, Car Shows and Dickinson College. Less than an hour from Gettysburg, Harrisburg and Hershey. Full Gourmet breakfast included.
Find respite amongst our 20 acres of nature, watch the horses graze, listen to the water sounds of the fish pond and toast your toes by the firepit. We look forward to sharing our home with you.

    • Consumption of alcohol is permitted (Wine and Cheese hour available on special event weekends)
    • Deposit amount required (A credit card or deposit of one night's lodging is required to make your reservation.)
    • Check in time is 4:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am
    • Cancellations:
      On special event/holiday weekends(Car Shows, Dickinson Commencement, Alumni/Parents Weekend) we require 14 days notice or the full amount of your stay will be charged unless the room can be rebooked, if rebooked 25.00 per night will be charged.For any other timeframe one night's lodging is charged for cancellations of less than 72 hours. No shows will be charged full amount.

    Fallen Tree has excellent foliage in mid to late October visible from every room.Graham's Retreat. Named for the homes builder, features an original fireplace, feather topped queen bed, balcony and hardwood floors. Pet friendly. Roomy Ensuite Bath.

    The Botanical Library is located on the first floor. It features wide plank floors, sitting area with fireplace, four poster queen feather bed, ensuite bath and period pocket doors. Views of the pond and barn ruins.Named for a treasured horse once owned by the innkeeper, The Grey Mare's Quarters can be rented as one room or a suite to sleep 4. Perfect for family travel. Clawfoot tub in bath.
    Our historic barn ruins provide a lovely setting for your wedding day or renewal vow ceremony. Swedish Buns area house specialty from a family recipe. If you have to be away from home for Christmas at least spend it someplace special!
    Coyle's Hideaway, our third floor room, is hidden amongst the treetops and features a spectacular bed with down filled comforter. Our guests have compared this to "sleeping in the clouds"
