    Enjoy the hospitality of our 18th Century Country Inn located in the heart of the rolling farmlands of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, our Inn, dating back to 1734, was originally a stop for stage coaches on their way to the "frontier" of Lancaster from Philadelphia. Today the inn features a country setting with Victorian-style architecture and furnishings. Twenty-four individually decorated deluxe rooms all include a private bath. Our suites feature a variety of options including fireplaces, whirlpools, kitchenettes and sitting rooms. A complimentary continental plus breakfast is served each morning in our common area. Free use of our indoor and outdoor pools, and tennis courts located within walking distance, and a complimentary two-hour bus tour of the surrounding Amish farmlands. Within walking distance of our Inn are a farmer's market, restaurant, bakery, antique market, quilt store, gallery, and a country store. Just minutes away you'll find outlet and specialty stores, golf courses, and numerous cultural attractions, including Sight & Sound Theatres and American Music Theatre.

    My husband and I have stayed at the Bird in Hand Village Inn several times and have never been dissappointed. I love it there and have recommmended it to everyone. I only wish we had known about it for our honeymoon. The people are so friendly and you feel like you are spending the night in someones guest bedroom. It feels nothing like a motel. The breakfast is also very quaint and relaxing.

    Beautiful place we have stayed here 3 times in different locations all very clean and beautiful. You won't want to go home
