Room was cold, but very nice. Would have been great in warmer weather as there was a private patio off of the sitting room. Breakfast was very good, even had gluten-free toast available

This was our second time staying at the Sayre Mansion. Again, a pleasant experience

We enjoyed the welcoming staff showing us right to our room, rather than searching endless hotel hallways. The wine and cheese in our room was fabulous and made us feel right at home! So close to all of downtown that we enjoyed a brisk walk in a light snow shower on valentines day-(I know, crazy, but it was just as romantic as you are thinking!)

We had a wonderful stay. The inn was all decked out in flowers and chocolate. They very graciously fulfilled our request to have breakfast extended to other family members at Lehigh that weekend

This was our third stay at The Sayre Mansion. As before, our hostess, Mary, was very welcoming -- and was very kind in providing us with a room upgrade. (Lola the puppy was there to greet us, as well...) The Sayre Mansion offers the charm of a B&B, but with a bit more anonymity for those who might feel overwhelmed by the idea of staying in the usual "having to be too close too strangers" B&B! I love the history of the this 150-year-old mansion, and the combination of its devotion to its original charm, but with all the modern updates one would hope to have available! There is a lovely supply of snacks waiting upon arrival...and the cookie jar is always filled with fabulously delicious home-made cookies. (My only "complaint" this time is that we missed out on the wonderful wine and cheese spread that we so enjoyed at our previous visit...and it was 5:00 (!) when we checked for it (and then had to leave for the evening)...so I'm not sure if that was offered, or not.) Breakfast was lovely, with several choices being offered. I'm guessing that "the usual" breakfast buffet we experienced in our two previous visits is set up only when the inn is full, which it was not on this day......and I would say that if you leave the breakfast feeling unsatisfied, then you weren't really hungry! If you are "Lehigh people", you will love the proximity to Lehigh University... I look forward to our next stay at the Sayre Mansion!

we have stayed at the Sayre Mansion many times and it is always nice. rooms are clean, food is good. and we like the brand of soaps and shampoos they have in the rooms. they have developed a problem with the front door; sometimes it is hard to open with the key.

We went here for New Years Eve, very beautiful & friendly! Unfortunately the entire town was closed for new years day, we found the Sands casino, all good!!

We stayed for 1 night the weekend before Christmas. It was cute, cozy and breakfast was yummy.

We spent time here the weekend before Christmas. The room we had (37) was secluded and quite quiet. Bed was comfortable. There was a fire exit off of our room. Staff was accommodating when we were unaware that breakfast was finished an hour earlier on the weekdays and cooked us something fresh when we missed the cut off. It would be nice if for future visits they inquired about food allergies for the breakfast buffet or would provide a list of ingredients. Overall, it was beautifully decorated, romantic and we'll be going back again soon!
