Relax. Reenergize. Get ready for the excitement of the ski slopes at Wisp or Seven Springs. Enjoy the spa and world-class golf at Nemacolin Woodlands. Bike the Rails to Trails, or raft the rapids of the Yough and Cheat rivers. Fish or boat at Deep Creek Lake. Peruse the abundant national and local history that surrounds us. Find a treasure at River’s Edge Antiques or another of the diverse shops in our neighborly tri-state area. Enjoy the area’s abundant festivals, historic reenactments, and auctions. Adventure and atmosphere abound year-round in scenic Laurel Highlands.

The spacious parlour is well appointed with plush upholstered seating, unusual antiques, and original artwork and ceramics. A peaceful room in which to enjoy the company of friends or relax in quiet contemplation by the fireside. Hidden in a discrete cabinet made from the original interior shutters is a media center, and over 100 videos and DVDs of various venues are available for your viewing. Or just sit back and enjoy the artistic, naturally inspired vignettes that encompass the room.
Our two-course breakfast begins with a decadent home-made pastry, and a seasonal fruit salad topped by a spice-infused, biodynamic, organic yogurt, sweetened to taste with local honey, and sprinkled with candied ginger. This is followed by your choice of a sumptuous, made-to-order gourmet entre. The Traveler's Room has a slightly exotic air, with Antique European landscapes, carved teak trunk, and Asian statuary. The luxurious queen-sized bed is adorned with an elegant golden floral tapestry, memory-foam topper, and 500-count Egyptian cotton sheets. This room has a private bath with a large shower and a unique, in-room vanity fashioned from an antique ladies' dressing table.

This room shares the main bath with the Trapper's Room, and there is a private pedestal sink tucked into a corner for your convenience. The crystal chandelier and unique, glazed, hand-painted walls create a warm, restful atmosphere.

The Trapper's Room has a sunny southern window that overlooks the original National Road. It is elegantly masculine in décor, with a Winslow Homer print and antique oak armchair. Hides, taxidermy, and a hornet's nest adorn the faux-finished, leather walls. A comfy XL Full bed with a memory foam topper is crowned by an antique, hand-carved oak headboard. This room shares the main bath with the Teacher's Room and has an en-suite, ornate, marble-topped vanity for your convenience.
