Located on a quiet, breezy hillside with 7 rooms and apartments with a air conditioning, hot water, comfortable beds, fans, restaurant, free Wifi from social area. Wonderful hilltop location - quiet with stunning views of the harbor, Panama City & neighboring islands. I had an extended 2 month stay with frequent off-island trips so had the opportunity of trying out various rooms - all were air-conditioned with a private bath, comfortable bed, fridge & safe. There's also high speed Wi-Fi so Skype was no problem. There is an excellent resident chef (Aristides) who will also prepare picnic lunches upon request & have them ready for early morning fishing trips (also available through Cerrito Tropical) & a cup of coffee to help get you going. The Spanish staff are very accommodating, friendly & more than willing to help those of us with limited Spanish. There was also a couple Salsa lessons thrown in without much success I'm afraid (but thanks for trying Aida, Lumi & Ofelia - lol). I will happily return again. Salud!

Clean , air conditioned rooms with very comfortable beds. Spanish staff are very accommodating and friendly. Chef Aristides is amazing! And, the balcony restaurant has spectacular views of Panama City & the canal. Love Cerrito Tropical!
