"Restful Pacific City Stay"

"We spent two nights at the Craftsman B&B and were very happy with our choice and with the location. We had a view of the huge Haystack rock from our windows and were about two minutes from the beach - maybe a 5 minute walk. Our host, Mike, pays incredible attention to the details of providing a positive experience, and seems to have thought of everything, in advance. So in addition to having personally restored and expanded the 1921 vintage house, his breakfasts were delicious, and the amenities he provided were top notch. We have stayed in far more expensive hotels with fewer special treats for the guests. Everything from spa robes to shower clogs, to chilled water and soda, wine service (and a huge wine cellar) brownies for bedtime snacks, a great hot tub in a private garden, and fine toiletries. Plus a passion for environmental preservation. I loved the instant hot water in the sink and bath -don't think I've had that before! Pacific City is conveniently located about mid-coast - so it's easy to do side trips if you want to. We'd be happy to return and felt pampered and relaxed."
