3.8 out of 5Great Weekend!
April 24, 2013
We spent the weekend at the Strasburg Village Inn to celbrate our tenth anniversary. Our room was very nice. The innkeeper was very helpful and pleasant to speak with. The breakfasts were great. Would definitely reccomend to friends.

We loved this bed and breakfast! It was 5 stars all the way. We were treated like people want to be treated, with care, respect and kindness. It was wonderful. Thank you!
Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your glowing words. We strive, with each and every guest, to make them feel both at home and as if they are a part of our family. I'm so glad that we succeeded in your case. We hope we'll be your return destination for your next visit to our area!3.8 out of 5B&B with superior location

B&B over a creamery, in front of a winery, beside a bakery. What more could you ask for. We had the room with a nice porch with ratan furniture which was grrat to relax on. The room was wonderfully furnished including a four poster queen bed. Breakfast was in the creamery and was nicely prepared. My only disappointment was the bakes goods were packged store bought and not the baked goods Lancaster County is famous for.
Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience here at our Inn. We're happy you discovered how much you can see and do at our shoppes without ever having to get in the car (there's also a thrift boutique, antique store, tea room and even a barbershop all within a 1-block radius!). Thank you for letting us know you were disappointed in the pastry offerings for our breakfast. You are correct - just like most lodging properties, our baked goods are store bought. We choose to focus on things like farm-fresh eggs and thick-sliced bacon for our cooked-fresh breakfast entrees and see our pastry offerings as just "something to tide you over" until we serve our hot breakfast. I will mention your disappointment to the creamery management team, as feedback is important to them as well. We hope you will consider the Strasburg Village Inn for your next visit to our area!4.4 out of 5Great stay
March 26, 2013
I checked in just past 5pm but there were very clear instructions as to what to do to enter and how to find our room. Very secure. Room 2 was very clean and large with a nice sitting area. The bed is so very comfortable. The bathroom was also very large. The balcony was enjoyable, even in the cool weather. Barely heard any of the other guests. The gathering room was so quaint and the coffee maker and fudge were greatly appreciated. Breakfast in the creamery was a nice touch, you were with others but could sit at your own table. The food was made to order and delicious. Loved it.
Innkeeper Response
We love that our town of Strasburg is so small and peaceful that we are able to easily allow for our guests to have late arrivals to the Inn without worrying about their safety or security! We're glad that you found so many positive things about the room that you chose, as ell as enjoying the Keurig coffee maker and complimentary fudge in our Gatherin Room. And we're glad that you enjoyed your hot breakfast in the morning so you could get a good start to your day. We appreciate your time in sharing your experience and hope that you will choose the Strasburg Village Inn for future visits to the area.

Wonderful staff. Very nice large room with new fantastic shower. perfectly located for visiting the down town area and only minutes from sight and sound theatre. We will definitely return for another visit
Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience here at the Inn. I am excited to tell our owner how much you enjoyed that new, large walk-in shower with its assortment of showerheads. We're glad you discovered that we're only minutes from many of the attractions here in Lancaster County, but just far enough away from the busy highway to allow you to recognize the feel of our quaint town. We look forward to your return visit!4.8 out of 5Excellent

The staff was accommodating, friendly and ready to help. Felt like home.
Innkeeper Response
Unlike many of the 'cookie-cutter' hotels in the area, while still nice places to stay, our small Inn allows us the opportunity to make you feel as cozy and warm as you do at home. We're glad that's the feeling you got during your recent stay with us, and hope you'll seek out that feeling again when you visit the area.4.2 out of 5Bumblee Buzz
March 11, 2013
My mom and I stayed in the room affectionately called the bumblebee room since its accents are yellow and black. We throughly enjoyed the three nights there, listening to the sounds of Strasburg filtering into the room. Having grown up in the area, the sounds of horses and buggies going past was a pleasant sound. Linda's breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Mom and I discovered the first day that it lasted with us throughout the day - a good thing when on a budget, a bad thing since Lancaster Co. offers so much wonderful food to eat. Jody and Linda were always helpful, answering questions and giving suggestions about places to visit or see. They lived up to their motto: come as strangers; leave as friends.
Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking the time to share comments about your recent stay at the Inn. These comments help us determine if there are any areas in which we need to improve. As you know from your visit, the "bumblebee room" is bright and cheery, even on the dreariest of days, and I'm glad you found it comfortable. A good, hot breakfast is an included part of your stay, and I'm glad you found our breakfasts hearty and filling. And yes, Lancaster County is surely a foodie destination, isn't it? I will share your comments about your stay with the appropriate staff, including Linda, and let them know how much you appreciate their efforts. We hope to have the pleasure of your company on any return visits to the area!
