..and people. Clean room, comfortable bed, good food & nice people running the place. What more are you looking for in a B&B?

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your kind review. We agree that a clean room, a comfortable bed and a hearty breakfast should greet every traveler at every location. And our guests are so nice that it's easy to be nice to them. Come and see us again!

Lovely stay.

4.2 on March 27, 2016

We were there for two nights. The rooms were very clean and the beds were great to sleep in. Coming from NYC, it was nice to fall asleep and wake to the clip clop of the buggies going by. The staff was extremely warm and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend this Inn.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your kind words. We always smile when our visitors mention how unique it is to hear the sounds of horses and buggies instead of the constant rush of vehicular traffic. Thank you for choosing to refer us to others, and we hope you will also come back to stay with us in the future.

Black Friday Visit

5 on December 02, 2015

This is our second Black Friday staying at the Inn and as usually if was wonderful. It is such a cozy beautiful little Inn. I feel so at home here. The people are so nice and friendly and its location works so well as if seem to be centrally located to all the shopping and small towns in the area. We hope to stay again next year.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your high-rated review. Knowing that this visit was a return trip and that you plan additional return trips makes us feel humbled. We're glad you appreciate how central the Inn is to the hub-bub of shopping/outlets but gives you just a few minutes away from the crazy traffic to find a peaceful setting when you're ready to relax after shopping 'til you drop! We look forward to your return, and you don't have to wait a year to come visit us again!

Nice family Get Away

4.0 on November 25, 2015

My wife, son, and stayed in room 7 with my parents as it has a pull out sleeper in a seperate sitting area. It was a nice room and the accommodations worked well for a one night stay while visiting the Strasburg Railroad. My only knock would be the water pressure on the shower, but I was the last to shower so that may play into it. Breakfast at the restaurant was quite good and really increased the value in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it really was an enjoyable stay.

Innkeeper Response
We appreciate the time you spent to write a review about your recent experience at our Inn. We are sorry that you experienced a water pressure issue with your shower during your stay, but thank you for calling that to our attention so that we can have maintenance address the situation. I'm glad you enjoyed the breakfast experience and hope that it gave you a good jump-start into your day seeing Thomas and Percy at the Strasburg Railroad. Again, thank you for calling attention to the water pressure issue so it can be addressed, and we hope you will come back and visit us again.

Very enjoyable!

This was our first stay here, now we know to choose a room deeper into the building, as it sits at the corner of a very busy intersection. The roar of the local monster trucks taking off from the stop light was quite noticeable.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your review. At the Inn, we do everything we can to let our guests know that some of our rooms are "street-side" and traffic noises might be an issue. Fortunately, half of our rooms do NOT face the street, so we'll be able to accommodate your needs on your next visit!
