We arrived a bit earlier than expected but Mrs Belsar was ready and greated us promptly. After introducing her daughter and showing us our room and the home we had a polite conversation. We then went to our room to "stow our gear" and returned to the living room to read and watch some TV. Mrs Belsar & her daughter had retired to the family living quarters downstairs. We saw them one other time that evening. The other guests returned during the evening introduced themselves and promptly retired. Because we were the only folks in the living room I watched a full football game as my wife read and after she went to bed for the night. Mr Belsar came home late in the evening and greated me before retiring. This was an evening like I would have experienced in any hotel room. When I go to a B&B I hope to have interaction with the host family and other guests but this did not happen this time.

This was our first time traveling to this area, and the highway exits are a mess right now, but once over that hurdle, an oasis! We were allowed into the Inn on an evening where no one else was about, it was impeccable and the Belsars were entirely responsive to any concerns or queries. We were loathe to leave in fact! Our breakfast was yummy and fortifying, and from their cozy place one could easily enjoy the offerings in town -- we chose Rey Azteca (one meal fed us both groaningly full!) and Crazy Alice's. Entirely different and both to return for. We live in Philadelphia

Exceptional Stay. We roomed in the Belsar room, found the area to be spacious and very comfortable. The Jacuzzi was so relaxing. The living area is very comfortable and the large screen television was great to watch football. Our hosts were very accommodating and made us feel right at home. The prepared breakfast was delightful with many sections. I personally enjoyed the Gingerbread Pancakes complimented with the local Maple Syrup. The house was very clean would never know a friendly Lab lives there also. Might I add the quietest dog I ever met. Added bonus was the opportunity to meet and chat with Hines. I would very much recommend this stay and look forward to our next trip.

We truly felt right at home during our stay at The Belsar Inn. Our hosts were welcoming, warm and friendly! The home was spacious yet cozy. Grounds and patio were lovely with gorgeous views from most of the rooms and windows throughout the home. We had a great visit with our family and even celebrated birthdays with a delicious cake ordered special by our hostess! Breakfast was delicious and there was always something in the kitchen to snack on. We hope to return and enjoy the hospitality of the Belsars again as well as activities offered by Seven Springs Resort nearby.
The McCoy Room is equipped with a queen size bed, a private bath, walk-in closet, and picture window with a view of the gardens.
