I was in Portersviller Pa for a wedding, since I travel alone I prefer the satiety of B & Bs rather than a motel,,the house takes you back in time, the breakfast was very good and plenty of it,, my room was nice with its own bathroom, a small TV, the queen bed was super comfortable,, Judy and Dave are great host, really enjoyed our conversations,, can't wait to go back, the price was very reasonable at $100.,,

Stayed there Saturday night. We arrived around 11:00, Judy met us and had no problem with our early arrival (we did notify them we would probably be there early) She showed up (my daughter and I) our room and she had made up the couch as a bed. Breakfast was excellent, fruit cup followed by eggs and meat. My duaghter could only asked for oatmeal as she had a race. They were very accomidating.

My wife and I stayed at this bed and breakfast on the coldest day of the year in February. Dave and Judy were very welcoming. The setting was an old farm house that felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast the next day was amazing. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to s friend. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us .

I surprised my husband with a trip into Pennsylvania to see his family because it had been years since we were in. We loved this B & B. Dave and Judy are the best hosts. Friendly and willing to share stories about the area or their family. We had time to relax in the living room with hot chocolate during the day and had cozy fires in the room at night. I was especially grateful for the wifi as it allowed me to keep in touch with the kids while we were away. Be prepared for their wonderful breakfasts. Eat later in the morning and you won't need a thing until supper. Absolutely wonderful! Our room was a little chilly in the morning before we got the fire going, but that was because the weather decided to go below zero windchill with 4 inches of snow. I would love to stay in the spring and enjoy the lovely landscape. The stay was quiet and peaceful. It was a welcomed change from the 5 kids-busy schedule-loud city days that we usually do. If you enjoy the country and antiques, you'll love staying here.

Dave and Judy are the most gracious hosts. This charming house is full of antiques and the grounds are just gorgeous - be sure to have coffee on the porch. And you won't need lunch - breakfast is delicious and generous!

This B and B is a unique blend of quiet old time country living and old fashioned food and hospitality coupled with thoughtful modern touches. The well appointed historic house was wonderful- both the room, parlor, and eating area were very pleasant. While this is an old farmstead style house it has been tastefully and carefully updated- heating seemed just right and no drafty windows or other excessively historic but non functional elements. It was quite comfortable! We also enjoyed both the in room cable TV and wireless internet access- which was a snap to pick up with our samsung tablet and android smart phones. We also greatly enjoyed the loving and welcoming demeanor of our wonderful hosts Dave and Judy who balanced genuine conversation with space for quiet time and couples fun. They offered great suggestions for things to do including the outlet mall, state parks, and great places to eat! Our advice is stay here, enjoy the B and B and enjoy the conversation with your hosts (take good notes their advice is spot on). Teachers know best!
