    Picasso Loft early October

    December 15, 2011

We stayed the first week of October and had a small dinner party. The Loft was wonderful and made the evening easy and enjoyable. The area is perfect to enjoy many fine dining places within an easy walk. There really is no need for a car as most attractions and resturants can be reached by walking or a short cab ride. I would recommend staying here for a long weekend or a longer stay to anyone. Stacey is wonderful to work with and the loft is beautiful and very well equiped. Mike and Gina

    Best Stay In Philadelphia

Picasso Loft, exceeded our expectation for a Bed and Breakfast. It's very central to historical downtown Philly, walking distance to many sites and attractions. Better than internet pictures. All that you need for a stay in Philly. Loved It!!

    Great location, great space

    November 18, 2009

We opted to stay here rather than a hotel during a major conference, and we were glad that we did. The location is convenient - approximately 15 minute walk to the Convention Center - and a nice change of pace from a hotel. It's a great neighborhood if you want to get some time away from a meeting and explore the shops and galleries, and several historic sites, as well as the Constitution Center, and is very convenient to excellent restaurants. The owners provide an excellent guide to the area, and suggestions for dining, galleries to visit, etc. We hosted 2 dinners for 12 people each time, and the kitchen was very convenient for the team of cooks and clean-up crew. The rest of the loft lends itself to relaxing, as well as entertaining. It makes you feel as though you really are part of the city. I would definitely stay here again.

    Taste of Philly

    November 10, 2009

Philadelphia is a warm city, with a special heart. And this place makes you to immediately feel that. I lived in Philly for four years and really liked to walk and hang out in Old City. So when my friends and I were looking for a cozy place to stay in Philly we picked this area, which is lively in the nighttime, but quiet during the day. When we arrived here, it was really easy to park our car – there is parking within the same block – and the street was filled with strolling people on that beautiful September day. Stepping into the loft we were impressed with the space, and the light that was coming in with the beautiful view of the surrounding buildings and church. We immediately noticed the refined choice of furniture, art and colors. The red kitchen with long table and plenty of cooking space, just invites you to enjoy your time while making a dinner to share with friends. The bedrooms are at the two opposite sides of the loft, and both have nice high windows and plenty of closet space. Also there is a bathroom for each bedroom. If you need to work, in the bedrooms you will find a practical desk, and wireless Internet connection is available and works very efficiently. Nice bars and restaurants are just steps away. I would really recommend having a coffee at the delightful shop right across the street from the building. We especially recommend this place to whoever is looking for not just a place to stay in Philly, but to truly feel and experience the city. We are already planning our next visit there!

    Positively Surprised

    October 14, 2009

This place is a gem! Arriving was easy. When we entered the front doors of the building with the rustic tall stone look hall way, I almost felt to be entering a B&B in Rome, Italy – except that the elevator had plenty of space for my entire luggage. But the best was when we opened the door to the loft!! The pictures provided on the website do not fully give justice to the large, open space and sophistication of this loft. The tall windows provide lots of light and a great view of Philadelphia – even when showering in the blue tiled bathroom of the master bed room ¿. We had plenty of space for hanging out on their cool sofas, cooking and enjoying meals. Internet was working, as was everything else. Lastly… stepping back out on the street again – I enjoyed the small galleries, restaurants, the river, ice cream and coffee shops, easy transportation to other parts of town and museums etc…
