Hammer Creek Hideaway B&B

We had a wonderful time. The pictures don't do it justice. The food was spectacular - Karen and Mil were very friendly and hospitable. We are going back in the fall. We never left Lititz - plenty to do there. It's a quaint, fun town. It was our first stay at a B&B and we loved it.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Prestige Suite(our daughter gave us the stay using a Living Social coupon) and couldn't be happier with the experience. The B&B was fantastic, our room was perfect and extremely comfortable. Karen and Mil were gracious, warm hosts and we felt comfortable immediately. There was both a deck and patio that we could sit on and enjoy the beautiful views of the neighboring farms and yes the creek that runs along the property. Karen is a wonderful cook and the 3 course breakfast was absolutely delicious, she was sure to check with us about any food allergies we may have.. At no point did we feel that we lacked privacy or were uncomfortable. My husband is a very early riser and felt right at home sitting in the living room reading. My husband and I would have loved to stay longer and we are anxiously looking forward to a longer stay in the Fall.

Outstanding attention to every little detail. Exceeded our expectations in every way. Food was delicious, plentiful and prepared/presented with great care. Perfectly clean. Tastefully decorated. Great location - plenty to do in the area but be sure to bring a GPS if you're not familiar with the area. Friendly yet not overbearing owners/inn-keepers. If absolute privacy is a concern, just opt for one of the lower level rooms. We will certainly return!

We tried this B&B with a Living Social coupon during the weekend of 2/10- 2/12/12 and we loved it. We stayed in the "Regal Suite" room. The owners, Karen and Mil were fantastic, they were warm and inviting- as soon as we arrived we felt like we were at home. I loved our room! The room was tastefully decorated, spacious, and the bed was soft and comfortable. The bed and breakfast currently has three rooms, two at the bottom on the first floor and a bigger suite is on the main floor. We were on the first floor, there was a common area with a mini kitchenette where we could make coffee and get a taste of Karen's delicious cookies (they went wonderfully with the coffee from the Keurig coffee maker), a spacious sitting area with a t.v. that looked out on to the woods, and a covered veranda. The main floor consisted of the kitchen, the dinning room were all of the guests eat breakfast in the morning, the living room with a t.v. and Wii! When we arrived we were greeted by Karen and Mil and they showed us to our rooms, they were easy to talk to and we spent a good hour getting to know each other- it really felt like we were long time friends catching up over coffee. They were very sweet, friendly, and down to earth. The breakfast, both days (Saturday and Sunday) was to die for. Karen made a three course breakfast, each day, which consisted of appetizer fresh fruits with or without yogurt, main dish breakfast Sheppard's pie or eggs with sausage or hash browns with gravy sauce, and finally dessert. Everything was home made and delicious. Breakfast started at 830 in the morning, but we did not leave the table until 1030, we were not only able to get to know about the owners, but it was the perfect opportunity to learn about others staying at the bed and breakfast (and to find out what to do in Lancaster if it is your first time visiting).

We had a great time and it was like being with family. I will return and also bring our friends with us.

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. Food was delicious and conversation was stimulating. I felt like I was visiting family.

My fiancé and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for my birthday.  It was an amazing stay!!  Karen and Mil provided such a great experience!! The room was comfortable and made the stay very relaxing.  Breakfast was served at 8:30 and everything was made fresh!  I really enjoyed the turkey sausage and pancakes.  If you have never gone to a bed and breakfast this would be the perfect place to go.  It was such a great time we book another stay in August!!  Thanks Again Adam and Erin

In the Lancaster Area and need a B&B?...stay here. Out in the country, quiet, relaxing, close to many attractions and shopping. Karen and Mil couldn't be more nice and down to earth. Breakfasts are wonderful and you won't feel like having lunch when you are done. This B&B is not to be missed.

We highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. The hosts went to great lengths to make us feel welcome--down to the very last detail! The room was beautiful, with very special touches. The view was spectacular and the breakfasts...oh my, the breakfasts!!! Absolutely delectable! They gave us the history of the area and suggested wonderful, quaint places to visit. My husband and I just returned from our stay. It was spacious and comfortable. Karen and Mil make you feel right at home. The breakfast served was delicious and presentation beautiful! This was my first B&B experience and I was very happy with every detail. Karen and Mil are excellent hosts. They made us feel like we were visiting family and not total strangers. The setting is quiet and country-like yet not far from the charming town of Lititz, PA. The decor was charming, furniture very comfortable, and the food was excellent.

My wife and I recently stayed at hammer Creek Hideaway and loved it. Karen and Mil treat you like close friends as they take excellent care of you. The rooms are large and beds very comfortable. We were first time B&B recipients. What a wonderful time we had with an awesome host and hostess as Karen and Mil. Everything in every way exceeded my expectations. This is a phenomenal home and the talents of Karen in the kitchen will just amaze your mind. This will be the only B&B we will surely return to again and again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and needless to say, we didn't want to leave! Karen and Mil are very welcoming, sweet people and their home is fantastic. Each breakfast was not only delicious but also included wonderful conversation to boot. The room was cozy and the bed... I wish I asked them where they bought it because it was hands down the most comfortable! We look forward to visiting again soon and doing a little more antique shopping :)

My girlfriend and I stayed here last weekend and this was by far the best B&B experience that I have ever had. The food was outrageously good and the innkeepers we extremely kind, fun, and genuinely exited to be running this B&B. There were chocolates and cookies awaiting us on our arrival, which was very nice! The bed was so comfortable! The rooms were very clean as well. Please d yourself a favor and book a vacation that you’ll remember forever. Class operation all the way!

My daughter, Mother and a friend and I spent the weekend with Karen and Mil and had a fantastic time! We stayed the weekend of the big Lititz Craft Show. Their B&B was absolutely beautiful and Karen and Mil were wonderful hosts. Breakfast each morning was SO delicious! Can't wait to go back again this year,, we've already booked the trip!

I stayed at Hammer Creek this weekend to get away from Philadelphia and to enjoy a LivingSocial deal that I had purchased earlier on. Karen and Mil are incredibly warm and friendly, and their home/the rooms were too. It felt more like staying at a close friend's vacation home than at an inn. The breakfast in the morning is homemade by Karen and is absolutely delicious. This place is great because you can have privacy when you want it, do your own thing around Lititz/Lancaster/etc., or hang out in the guests' common area (DVDs, Keurig machine, home-baked snacks) or upstairs with Karen and Mil.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hammer Creek Bed and Breakfast. The owners are fantastic and great hosts! Entire house was clean and the breakfast was so delicious! We would stay again and I would recommend this B&B!!

We came up to Litiz for the Renaissance fair and were booked to stay at Hammer Creek for two nights. Unfortunately, both weather and work cut our stay short. Mrs. Karen and Mr. Mil are both incredibly nice people. When you stay here, you feel like you're at home and the breakfast is absolutely delicious.

My wife and I stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon. It is tucked away and is very private. The night we stayed we were the only guests. The room was clean, the staff helped us unload our luggage and even helped us clean up all the streamers and balloons that the wedding party put in our car. We were offered the ability to request when we wanted breakfast, which was great. That gave us extra time to sleep and get ready. The food was great, the service was more than we could have asked for and we would recommend this to anyone of our friends.

Perfect place to stay if you want to stay out in the country. The hosts were very nice, and the rooms were very clean and roomy. New house, so everything was clean. It was a drive to get into town, but I might stay there again. The house wasn't on a creek, or at least I didn't see one.

Karen and Mil were gracious hosts in a lovely environment. Their home is beautiful and they were welcoming. Guests have the lower level of their home, which features a screened-in porch overlooking a small gorge and lots of greenery. Everything was spacious from the shared areas to the private room. Sweet treats and self-serve beverages were a lovely touch as was a half dozen fresh roses in the room and chocolate-covered caramels. Friendly and genuine, the Eppigs made our stay a treat.

We enjoyed our stay at Hammer Creek Hideaway B&B. The room was inviting and spacious and beautifully decorated. The innkeepers were helpful in every way and it was a pleasure to stay in their home. The food was wonderful!! We felt the price was also reasonable compared to other B&B's we have stayed in. Did I mention the food was GREAT!

Karen and Mil did a wonderful job of making us feel right at home! The room was beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. We were on a getaway for my birthday, and Karen had lots of little surprise touches to make it extra-special. Karen and Mil treated us just like long-time friends...we would definitely stay here again!
